This is one of the more important remaining cultural institutions on Maui. Very rarely does one get to watch, discuss, or hands-on learn directly from someone who knows the ins-and-outs of the craftwork you see in museums and history books.If youre into fiberarts, I highly recommend allocating a couple days of your Maui trip to spend time learning from the owner - be sure to contact the shop to book workshop time beforehand!
