Delicious shave ice and cookies! We stumbled on this place in the shopping center near where our boat for snorkeling and we were very impressed! One of our favorite shave ice on the island and we tried lots! I would highly recommend getting a scoop of vanilla ice cream at the bottom of your shave ice!

Delicious cookies and ice cream. The ingredients they use are the best. Must come if you are in Maui. Is like 15 min away from the airport and right next door to the Aquarium.

If you’re thinking about going to Hula Cookies & Ice Cream, you should go. The young lady behind the counter was very sweet and helpful. The chocolate coconut cookie and coconut ice cream sandwich I had was absolutely amazing. If it weren’t for my wife, I’d have eaten another.

Great spot to check out after visiting the Maui Ocean Center. Their ice cream was really good! Lots of options to choose from. Wifey had a scoop of peach mango and I had a flavored called Dino Crunch (lol) which was basically blue vanilla with cookies. It was very chill to sit outside, have some delicious ice cream and just people-watch. Definitely recommend checking this place out.

Amazing!!!! The ice cream is delicious, very nice texture and the cookies are perfect! Many options, can customize everything and very friendly staff. I got an ice cream sandwich with one chocolate chip cookie, one coffee chocolate chip cookie and macnut toffee ice cream. Honestly cannot recommend this place enough. I will definitely be returning!

I wish I had had my camera with me when I came here. The guys behind the counter were so awesome and so helpful and fully supported my adventurous appetite.I asked for 1/2 scoops of the Aloha Cherry & Caramel Creme between Chocolate Chip Macadamia Nut & Hula cookies.Oh. My. Goodness. Absolutely amazing! My wife got the Ube which I also thought was really good. I do recommend staying inside to eat though. It Is so much cooler. We sat outside, in the shade, and everything melted very quickly, even with 30mph winds. Also, eat inside if it’s windy too.

We have been twice. The place is clean and fresh. The staff was nice, friendly, efficient, and accommodating. The ice cream was delicious. The cookies are awesome. I recommend getting an ice cream cookie sandwich as well as the lava flow is really good.

Been in 6/7 days Ive been in Maalaea, amazing staff and great ice cream. I got the chocolate chip ripple on chocolate chip cookies today .The cookies are amazing. Ice cream sandwiches are the best. If youre on this side of the island or go to the aquarium you MUST come here!!

Small shop with good prices. My wife and I split a sundae all for $7.95. Two scoops with macadamia nuts, whipped cream, chocolate drizzle, and strawberry drizzle. Also have delicious looking cookies! Shop is in the shopping center right next to the Maui aquarium.

The ice cream sandwich was delicious! I only give it a 4 out of 5 because of the price. Over $6USD is not a fair price for an ice cream sandwich; however I would recommend trying as a special treat. Tasting the cookies and ice creams before deciding on flavours was a nice option:)

Amazing ice cream and shave ice, didnt get a chance to try the cookies, but its perfect if youre visiting the aquarium. Not much in the way of sitting, outside is generally windy, and inside has some space for sitting.

Very good and reasonably priced shaved ice. My sister also raved about her smoothie. I was eyeing the cookies and plan on going back. Would definitely recommend.

Hula was one of our favourite spots to get ice cream in Maui along with Island Cream Co. Located on the upper level of the Maui Marine Ocean Center, groups of tourists run through here to jump on boat tours. Crowds come into the ice cream shop in waves...its usually not bad.We enjoyed the Roselani brand ice cream they serve. I got the Haupia every time, pairing it with other things harder to get stateside like Taro or Macadamia Nut Crunch, Lilikoi, Kona Coffee, etcService was always friendly and quick and I found the prices excellent.
