Wonderful facility, 4 hours there ending with the 3D whale movie! Absolutely loved it!

We loved it more than our first visit here because this time we got to experience it with our first grandson!He absolutely loved it, he is so little but extremely bright & loves the sea and fish already! Mahalo ♡

The Maui Ocean Treasures gift shop is a what some would call a little slice of heaven. Within the shop you can find a variety of unique gifts and trinkets that are a little pricy but are of great quality. On September 26th, 2021 which was the last day of my honeymoon I made a large purchase at the Maui Ocean Treasures shop. After leaving the gift shop I lost the receipt for my purchase and I had gifted one of the items in my purchase to a family member. The person that I gifted the item to needed to get their gift altered but since I was unable to provide a receipt there was a bit of a sticky situation. I called the Maui Ocean Treasures and spoke with Sandy, the Retail Director at Maui Ocean Center. Sandy went ABOVE and BEYOND to help me rectify this situation and I am so grateful to her for clearing up this situation for me. Sandy is an Amazing person with a great spirit and an even better attitude. Thank you Sandy for making my life so much easier. I truly appreciate you so very much.

Great little gift shop.

Loved the informative coral reef exhibit. The shark exhibit is pretty cool too. But my favorite is the puffer fish swimming around you in the walk through tunnel. Plan a 3 hour trip w/ food stop. If you wish to dine in in the center, my suggestion is to get your name in the wait list the first thing you do when arriving. Our lunch wait was an hour and 20 minutes.

Mauis best gift shop. Must visit when traveling to Maui or if you live here. In the interest of full disclosure I am biased as I work at Maui Ocean Center that operates Maui Ocean Treasures.

Watch the video of the Hunchback whale! You will go out of the show stunned with wonder!

People mentioned that this gift shop is the largest in Maui. I cant confirm that, but this store certainly has something for everyone. The actual store is located inside the aquarium, so you have to request access to the gift shop at the ticket counter. There, you will sign in and be directed towards the gift shop.

Was there last month for my 30th anniversary . I really enjoyed the selection of gifts and mementos you can get.Please stop by the Lady selling fudge inside the gift shop, it is incredible and needs to be sold across America!!!!

Nice selection of ocean theme souvenirs well laid out and organized. Prices are about the same on the high side.

Standard gift shop. They have a pretty good selection of souvenirs, especially ocean themed ones.
