Well stocked with a lot of bikes from mountain bikes to SC bikes to BMX bikes to skateboards they have a lot of stuff.. And they all ride so theyll guarantee be able to find a bike that suits you good... Highly recommend the waipio bike factory but if you guys live in town you guys can check out the Honolulu one too

Great customer experience and knowledgeable staff!!Dropped off my skateboard in the afternoon and asked salesperson if it could be fixed he said yes and referred me to “Bear” a skateboard enthusiast. I asked if he could replace the trucks and looked at it and said it was not necessary. But getting new wheels was! He also offered to do a tune up on the whole board and would call me when done! I didn’t expect them to finish until next week sometime but I got a message later the same night telling me it is done. Excellent service!!!

Staff is usually friendly, only had one dude awhile back who had apparently missed taking any customer service classes....but the rest of the employees are friendly and helpful. Terrin, one of the managers at the Waipio store helped me get a very hard to get part for my wheel. He kept me informed about the status of the part the whole time and had it installed quickly once it arrived. Terrin and the rest of the staff were fantastic from beginning to end. When I was a kid, I wanted to some day own a bike shop. Well, that didnt happen, but IF I would have, I would have wanted to open a bike shop like the Bike Factorys shop in Waipio. Great shop!

This is my second purchase from the Bike Factory in Waipio, but my first time ordering online. My purchase was ready for pick-up at the store in just a few days and ready to ride. Upon entering, I was promptly met by a staff member and escorted to my bike that was waiting on the showroom floor. I had a kickstand added, completed my bike registration paperwork and was on my way. For the record, I did visit other bike shops on the island, but they had little to no inventory, unlike Bike Factory Waipio whose showroom was full of all kinds of bikes to fit any price range.

Top of the line products with the best service you could ask for. Bear and Justin were great to work with and we’re extremely knowledgeable.

I like that the employees are knowledgeable, down-to-earth, and very friendly. Whether Im buying a bike, parts or services, Im always impressed that they take the time to help me decide what I need or want to buy, rather than trying to convince me to buy something. Ive been frequenting the shop (the one in Waipio, HI) for about 4 yrs now and am a very satisfied customer.

Checkout Bear and Yoza and the other braddahs at Waipio. These braddahs is super helpful and got the tips and tricks of the trade, esp if you a big uso (250+lbs) like me and don’t know if biking is worth the investment. Trust me, take it easy on ya knees and hit up these guys in Waipio.

The variety in quality of products in this store are amazing, however what’s more amazing then all of the products variety is the heart warming and highly motivated and dynamic customer service provided by the staff to include the store owner. First and foremost the customer service was AMAZING!!!Chris initially greeted us and he was amazing. He helped us pick out some bikes and allowed us to ride it around to get the feel of them. He even helped my 8 year old try to learn how to bike without his training wheels. We ended up purchasing (2) bikes when we had to also purchase a bike rack so we could load the bikes to get them home. Chris and T-bags went above and beyond to help us put the rack together and mounted it to our car. We are so thankful to them and appreciate the awesome service. We even came back with a little something something to thank them! My husband, son and I go riding together a lot now and we are enjoying our new bikes! THANK YOU BIKE FACTORY!!!

Excellent Place for All Your Bike Needs and More

Its the only shop I go too on island. Tried the other bike factory down town and no one even acknowledge that I was in the shop and when asking questions they almost seemed irritated. This was over a year ago but have not been back since. The bike shop was helpful when I went there but their customer service almost didnt seem genuine. Once again over a year ago but for me once I have a bad experience I tend to move on. This store on the other hand has always had great customer service whether I am stopping in just to look around or helping me get everything I need for my newly built baby!! This will be my go to shop till I leave the island.

Stopped by to get a replacement seat post collar. They were very busy with lots of customers. The mechanic found what I needed. I asked if he could install it as well as put a new chain on my bike ( I had brought a chain of my own) and then dial the shifting in. He asked if I could wait a few minutes as they had no room to keep the bike overnight. Their storage was packed with the new shipment of bikes they had received. I was happy to wait ( 5 minutes) as I had expected to leave my bike there. Got to take it home and still had time to get a ride in before dinner. ACES!!!!

As a business owner myself, I hate writing bad reviews. I will start by saying that the staff who assisted me at both locations were cordial. Overall, poor service and lack of professionalism from both locations.I went online to the BF website to look for a new bike. Online it showed several in stock of my bike of choice, yet there was a notation to confirm with the store. I called the downtown location on the phone, an hour prior to closing, and confirmed they had a few in stock. I chose to wait to go until the next morning since they had a few. Next day, I arrived just as the store opened. While in line waiting to be helped, another staff member came in from outside and immediately approached me to offer help, well done. I asked for the specific bike I had wanted, which still showed in stock online. Without checking their computer system, he responded that there were none available period. Granted there were none on the floor, but none at all? He encouraged me to consider the higher end model of which there were a couple display models. I declined as there was a specific model and color I wanted. He recommended I continue checking in to see if restocked later.Unhappy with the response, I immediately drove to the Waipio store to see if I would have better results there. Walked into the store and there were two separate guests being helped by two separate staff members on two different counters. I was next and waited. A couple other staff members passed me by, who came from behind the counter. One did not even acknowledge me, and the second made eye contact yet did not say a word, not even a greeting. My turn, I was assisted by a female staff member. Again, very cordial. I mentioned that I was looking for a specific bike and wondered if she had it in stock. She first checked her system (woohoo) and shared that while there were not any on hand at the store, the system showed an order of several bikes of the model I wanted had recently arrived, in a few sizes and colors, yet was not unloaded from their storage warehouse. My size was available in two colors. She mentioned that I could reserve one and that she would call me to pickup once it was delivered to the store. She said there was no need to pay up front, although I asked if I could so as to guarantee I would get the bike I wanted, and that a reservation would ensure me receiving. She entered all my information in their system, gave me a reservation receipt and concluded by saying that I should hear back in 2 days. Sweet, I can wait 2 days no problem.Three days later I still had not heard back. So I decide to check their website, and the bike was now reflecting none available period. I immediately called the Waipio store. I asked for the staff member who helped me and was told she was not working that day. I explained my situation. The gentleman apologized as there was in fact none available at either store or the storage warehouse. I asked if it was possible that my reservation was overlooked and that after the bikes were sent to the respective stores they were sold first come, first serve off the floor. He acknowledge that was most likely the case and again apologized adding that the original female staff who assisted me had been out sick the past 2 days.Of course I was livid. What is the point of reserving a bike then? And should a customers order fall through the cracks because the staff member who took the order was out sick, if in fact she was even out sick?It was my first experience with Bike Factory, and most likely my last. It is a shame, and granted this could have been a total fluke, considering several of my peers have had great experiences at BF. Again, just poor service and professionalism overall, from both locations.

I actually didnt end up purchasing a bike from here because there was a bike closer to home with more of my needs but the customer service was great. Chris helped answer my questions and even insisted on me trying to separate bikes to get the different feels. All his help, helped me choose the right bike for me and my daughter. I be shopping there in the future and recommend this bike shop to others.

Despite COVID ramping up demand, the owner has somehow managed to stay on top of it and keep up a solid inventory. Everyone in the store was really helpful and answered all of our questions (shoutout to Chris & the guy with blonde dreads - didn’t catch his name).

During the whole covid they had the policy of no service for Bikes. Servicing bikes is not part of their business plan apparently. That is the difference between a bike shops of old and a modern day bike store. I did find a shop who wanted my money for a tune up. Bummer cuz I live Waipio

The entire team is amazing, I wish I remembered all their names, I have met so many and they have all treated me like family. This business is by far the only place, as far as Im concerned to go to for MTB, or anything bike or skate!I ventured into the Wapio store to ask about parts for my MTB that I shipped over to the island when I moved here (it wasnt handled gently by an airline) and needed some TLC to bring it back to life. Bear greeted me and asked what he could help me with. Let me say, he wasnt even trying to sell me a bike, he was trying to help me with what I needed, but in conversation I ended up test riding a couple new bikes in the parking lot. Never the less, I bought a new Trek Fuel. The courtesy and family vibe I got and continue to from these folks is amazing. Every time I have been back for anything, parts or questions, the service is outstanding, and extremely professional. Keep up the great work all.

Top notch customer service. My family and I were greeted and welcomed in by 3 gentlemen before we even walked into the store!! We were approached by Bear, and he immediately asked what we were looking for & when he found out it was for my son, he engaged in conversation with him trying to find out what he wanted!! He suggested the size of the bike that was appropriate and let us know that the size would be perfect for him to ride for at least a couple years!! He showed us other options, so that my son could make his choice. The absolute best part of the experience was that my son learned how to ride the bike WITHOUT training wheels within 5 minutes of taking the bike outside the store!! Yeah!!! The sales associates are personable and knowledgeable. The stock offers a lot of different options ranging from low to higher prices depending on what an individual needs or wants. The services are great, ranging from repairs to assembly. I highly recommend.

Someone with stick fingers swiped my sons tire. The crew at the shop gave me recommendations on new products and security to make sure my son is cool for the next time. They got a new set of tires put together and checked me out in little more than a half an hour. Plenty of Aloha and positrons!

Came in with a damaged bicycle from a move onto Oahu. The gentlemen at Bike Factory were very pleasant and willing to help, even with the multiple stipulations that the transportation service provider and claims agent demanded. They made what is normally a difficult situation much easier. Will return here for all of my future needs after getting my bike fixed up and back on the road.
