The ladies here are extraordinarily helpful! Im a novice quilter to say the least, and each person took time to help me pick out fabrics for my quilt. They helped me figure out how much I actually needed (quilt math is very tricky). And gave me tips on how to complete my project at home. A good quilt store has an excellent fabric selection, a great quilt store is above and beyond supportive as well. Quilters common for me is a great quilt store.

Attended a wedding in Salem 3 years ago. On the way up we stopped for lunch and checked out the quilt shop. Friendly, knowledgeable staff! Nice shoppers! Found small scale red brick fabric and pine plank. Didnt pass these up and used for Christmas ornaments!

Quilters Commons is an excellent source for quilters from the beginner to the more advanced quilter. Excellent selection of fabrics, notions, patterns, and books. The entire staff is warm and friendly and makes you feel extremely welcomed.Highly recommend going there. COVID regulated.

I have been going to the shop since it opened. The sisters were and Antoinette and staff are so helpful. Glorious selection of fabrics and classes were fun. I’ve moved away but still stop in to add to my ‘stash’. Kudos!

Wonderful fabric selection. I would have rated it higher but for the fact that it is in a basement location and is not at all handicapped accessible, so I can no longer go shopping there as the only access is down a steep set of stairs. While the staff is very accommodating in offering to bring up fabrics for me to look at, its not the same as browsing on my own. The last time I was able to get down there, years ago, the aisles were rather crowded, with lots of bolts of fabric on the floor, making it hard to get around even when I wasnt handicapped. I dont know if it is still as crowded. I sure wish they could move to an accessible location as I would love to be able to go shopping there, as well as take some of the classes they offer.

If you are a Quilter and you havent been to Quilters Common in Wakefield, this is one place to put on your Bucket List. The selection and quality of fabrics is outstanding. The Ladies who work there are some of the most friendly people Ive ever met. There are many projects going on with BOMs and classes. You just have to go there. When you walk in the door youll immediately feel the WOW!!!

The staff seems attentive unless you seem a novice to them or they dont know you. Thats a bit sad considerimg I grew up in Wakefield since 1978. My wife is extremely talented with anything fabric. I might suppose it had something to do with ethnicity, if you ask me. My wife disagreed. Either way we bought nothing from the rather overpriced and limited selection. Too bad because we are all about supporting the local businesses.

A delightful quilt shop: a brightly-lit space underneath the Alano clothing store in Wakefield center, it is chock full of fabrics in a huge array of cheerful colors. I love it because the owners lean toward the bright colors I favor, although they do carry some muted country colors as well. The owners are extremely knowledgeable and helpful, which is good for beginners. Lots of patterns on display for quilts, bags, vests, etc, with samples made up so you can see how the items look in other colors. This place is a hidden treasure.

Great selection of fabrics and quilting notions. The staff are very helpful with answering questions and quilting tips. If Im looking for a certain fabric chances are they have it.
