They have remodeled this store and I am in love. Its very clean and organized. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. I highly recommend shopping here.

This has honestly been the biggest and cleanest Michaels Ive been to! I could totally stay in there and shop for hours.

I love Michaels...all of them. A little pricey but convenient. Has good quality products and great customer service. Ill pay the extra for that. 😄

I love Michaels however the customer service wasnt that great its hard to find a sales associate when you need them. I gave it five stars because when Im there I can always find what I need if I have time to walk through I will find it. Plus I meet other people who are doing the same thing Im doing.

Corrected version 8.31. Heather in the photo department was great to work with. She not only knows her craft well, shes extremely patient, friendly with a great sense of humor. She made my experience as well as every cistomer back there at the time, worth the visit. Please give Heather the credit she deserves, we loved working with her! She is fantastic, has excellent customer service skills, knows her product and works extremely well with all the customers I noticed!!!! Jada gave me a paper at the register. She is polite, has excellent customer service skills and a really nice front line help to customers, with a very kind and pleasant attitude. My two favorite employees.

I really hope Michaels is here to stay.I dont go into craft stores a lot, but every time I do I realize just how much Im missing. Went into AC Moore before they closed down and with Michaels the only one around I dont want it leaving. I will be thinking of this store in the future.Hardest part is remembering Michaels has that and a much better variety! (Glues for example)

This store needs to be organized. They had florals under a sales sign but they werent on sale. When asked if they could go check to make sure the cashier spoke to someone whom didnt see the product and assumed that it was it the wrong spot.

Staff has always been helpful and friendly, although the cashiers sometimes look preoccupied while ringing you up. The store is always clean and well organized. Despite items moving locations, staff always know where things are located.

I like the crafts they have for inspiration. They are expensive though. The do have a senior 10% discount, I just found out about online.I did find some dalmatian jasper beads to make some jewelry for my granddaughter.

Typically always have a great experience here, however, I chose to do pickup for the first time & needless to say it wasn’t the most pleasant experience. I waited in the line just to be redirected to the pickup area. Someone comes over to help then couldn’t find my order. They go to get help & a lady walks towards me and asks for my name. I give her my name she then rudely says “Who?” Then she proceeds to tell me my items were collected not too long ago. When I ask were they ready or is there a wait she says “yeah when I bag them.” I was taken back considering the normal friendly, helpful atmosphere. Kindness is so important especially in these times.

I am a professional artist- products are good. This is my home away from home.

Went to get a picture stretched. She was very helpful, explained why it needed framed and couldnt be stretched and helped me pick out a good frame

My experience at this location (Waldorf, on December 3) was very good. I didnt have to wait to enter the store, all of the registers were operating so that my wait time was very short, employees were fully engaged, I found what I was looking for, and the store was clean and organized. Most importantly, people were practicing social distancing. All the complete opposite of what I experienced at the Bowie location a day later, where I never intend to visit again.

I ordered online with free in store pick-up. Again, I had to wait longer than expected. Im starting to wonder if its worth the extra steps. I thought the whole process was a quick grabngo concept. Nope, not so much.

I ordered some craft supplies for in-store pickup. I pressed the button for service and waited at the kiosk... and waited... and waited. as I watched many customers get served at the registers, I thought maybe I had to stand in line too. so I did, only to be told that I had to wait at the kiosk. by then, someone had finally come to the kiosk to help. he gave me my products. the foam board was banged up and dirty. when I told him I didnt want that one, he briefly looked at me like I was crazy before walking back with me to pick up a new one. we went through a few of them before we found one that wasnt damaged.Ill be going to Bowie or Alexandria from now on.

They have all of the painting and craft supplies we need for school projects. Also they have framed two pictures with so many choices of background and frames for me.

This store has been going through a revamp. I was looking for items that were currently not in stock but they said they are still being items in. Staff was polite. *Place was clean*. Prices are higher than Hobby Lobby but its closest craft store we have.

Store is clean, staff is helpful but they no longer stock Diamond Dotz Paintibg kits. Paint by numbers kits for adults are available

As a guy who likes organization and ease of movement in a store, this place sets me crazy as soon as I walk in the door. However, Megan in the frame section was extremely helpful in selecting the right pieces for the memorial shadow box Im building for a recently passed Marine. By the time we were done I was all but whistling on my way to the register. Thanks Megan!

They seem to offer a whole lot less crafting variety since redesigning their store layout.

So MANY CHOICES in home decor year round. Im redecorating our home and Michaels store is equal to a candy store. Plenty of artificial flowers, wall art and more. Ill be back for more

Not enough friendly, professional, and knowledgeable staff. The line was super long the employees were moving care free nobody was on the floor to answer questions for assistance. I would only return if I desperately need something.

It might be worth the higher prices (vs online shopping) if the employees were all crafty people who could answer questions about crafty things and make recommendations to novice crafters. Sadly, it seems many employees dont know how to use the stuff being sold here, sand therefore cant really help customers find the best solutions.

Since the remodeling, its very nice and open. The frame department is much better. The seasonal decor department seems to have gotten a little expensive and not as good quality items as the past. I dont think there is an in store floral designer anymore, so thats a little disappointing that you cant get custom made designs.

Not alot of selection. This store is big with a little selection so sad.

Stopped by to pick up a couple scrapbooking supplies for a family member who is unable to get to the store. While I was there they were having an amazing sale on many items in the store. Everyone practiced social distancing, wore masks and the sales associate was extremely helpful. When I approached the line to pay the floors were clearly marked with tape with 6 ft spacing and a sales associate directed customers to available registers.

The employees are not too friendly or helpful. Their prices are too high.I like AC Moores better. Employees are much nicer and helpful. I just wish AC Morrison do not go out of business! Their prices are much cheaper!

The store in Waldorf Maryland has gone under a renovation. It is more open it flows better the Isles are a lot cleaner less clyttered and the cash register layout is a whole lot better than what it was before good job.

I went in today to look for picture frames. Joe (or Jo), the lady working that department was tremendously helpful. She measured my pictures and picked out my frames for me. It was a really wonderful experience.

I had wanted to drop-off my Amazon package here but I couldnt because It supposed to have been wrapped up with the label and everything on it.Without that the package would not be accepted. You obviously cant drop off with access code like how you do at UPS

Honestly, Ive never been a fan of arts and crafts. I just dont have the patience. But as my wedding was venturing a few months ago my husbands sister insisted on coming here to look at items for my reception dinner. I wasnt one to argue as I didnt have a clue where to begin.I do know someone personally who works here so we were able to receive some major discounts. I still dont like arts and crafts, but I can attest that Michaels has some unique and hard to find items. And some pieces they sell are really nice and can add the final touches to any event.Ive noticed that their prices somewhat fluctuate, but if you are a member and stay abreast of their sales you will be able to save money. Ex. I was looking for a huge Christmas wreath for my front door. I searched 3 different stores before I finally found what I wanted at Michaels. The beautiful wreath was originally $149.00, but they were having a limited 60% off sale and I capitalized, indeed! And if you have any affiliation with the military they also offer 15% off, which you can combine with other discounts.Definitely dont miss out at Michaels....they may have just what you need!

Cashier did not know how to make a exchange on a new purchase. She also stated the runner was opened its was not had to call manager to see if it was returnable.

Oh, the fabulous after Christmas items were what I was shopping for. However, I did purchase other items. I love going there because I always find what I need and more!

The best thing about this trip wasnt a thing at all. It was being helped by Ms. Shania. She was very professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. A true lifesaver when an item in my online order was not available. She is the reason I will return to this location.

Ive been coming here for about 10 years and while its not the best its definitely not the worst. Staff is polite and helpful, but their main and very big issue is that they only ever have one person working the register, even when there are a dozen people in line. You have to actually ask an associate to call for backup. Otherwise its a nice store.
