I received a Brazilian Wax from the amazing Alecia! I hadnt had a wax in sometime. Alecia was very professional and walked me through every step to the point where I could visualize exactly what was going on down there LOL. Alecia was very knowledgeable in her work and was able to provide excellent after care instructions. The overall facility was clean and everyone I encountered was very welcoming. I will be returning in the future!

I went to Jess after 2 years of not waxing (shaved occasionally)😧. Don’t judge me, judge your mother!…. Anyways, things where a little out of hand, but Jess was so quick and professional. The quickest wax I’ve ever experienced. It was also less painful, I would recommend the place and Jess🤗

I recommend ANY CENTER IN NORTHERN VA or NW DC. I went to several VA locations on my break / lunchtime or after leaving the office. I only change my designated center when my home office changes. This center is near my home BUT I will gladly take a drive to THE CITY… sad.Post-Pandemic experience has been way below standard as a client of the brand since at least 2015. I always purchase unlimited wax pass, Buy 9 or student pass as appropriate for my self-care needs.Wax FACTORY is a more adequate description at this location. Prior to Covid-19 business interruption, I was marginally satisfied. After completing my unlimited pass credit (issued due to closures/ restrictions beyond control), I refused to purchase another pass for various reasons, mostly because the service is hit or miss in terms of quality. In & out is ideal for busy professionals such as myself, HOWEVER, that is unreasonable if quality is being compromised.When offered complaint I was refused further service because I made the phone attendant “uncomfortable”…. BUT my reason for calling was to speak with store manager or store owner about MY DISCOMFORT!What a joke. Btw… NOBODY KNOWS when the manager WILL BE AVAILABLE to address my concern.

Absolutely No! I had been going back and forth about even leaving a review but I’m still upset. I went in on 7/9 and received a Brazilian. Before leaving I noticed straggling hair and blood spots (I never bleed). The tech said it’s not and we don’t remove those hairs. I paid and left. Two days later I had stubble. Followed by irritation and a load of ingrow hairs. I have never had this mess occur. This was the worst and I urge anyone to save their privates and go elsewhere. I now have to pay $140+ for a vagacial and ingrown treatment. I’m highly perturbed. And yes I am thoroughly familiar with waxing aftercare.

This was my first time trying European Wax Center my wax lady was Alicia and she walked me through every step that she was doing. I really enjoyed the customer service that Alicia gave. Alicia made my wax experience not an uncomfortable experience but a pleasant experience. I will be back to book with Alicia.

I have only had services done in 2 different occasions. Each experience was new to me but the end results are by far more than what I was expecting. The lady that has done both of my waxing services is super nice. She helped me feel comfortable through the whole process. Yes, waxing can be a bit painful but I really recommend getting waxed. I have gotten a brazilian and lower legs wax.

I booked an appointment online for 05/08/21, they had a glitch in their system that messed up my time to January of next year at 10 am. I arrive and was told this information, as well as it happen before. I love in Clinton,MD and rode to Waldorf,MD and was told it was nothing she can do about it, I would have to reschedule. I’m very disappointed.

So before scheduling my wax I was told over the phone I would be able to get 50% off my first Brazilianwax and a free wax. I made sure that was the case so I can properly budget. Plus it was my first wax so I was asking alot of questions over the phone .The lady even told me all I would be paying is the $30 for my brazilian wax. I get there and get everything done my waxer Jess was soo nice. I recommend her btw. But after i’m finished i see my total is way over $30 and im like i thought i didn’t have to pay for both waxes. I told the receptionist my dilemma and she acted as if she couldn’t care less. And I wouldn’t make it up like im not that type of person if i was told I would be paying $70 some prior to my appointment I would of been cool. But it’s the fact I was told one price over the phone and I ended up paying more than what I was told. So yeah ion know if anyone else had that same problem but i just didn’t appreciate how the girl was not understanding or nice she literally looked at me with a blank face. Like.....cmon now. I made another appointment but ion know if i wanna go back. I wish it didn’t have to be like that though because I really loved my waxer.

London was my esthetician for my first wax ever. She was amazing and made me feel very comfortable.

I found this place after being forced to find another tech due to the galleria closing and my tech no longer waxing. I like how they are operating during this pandemic taking the right precautions yet still staying on schedule. My check in from outside was so easy and I got right in for my appointment on time. I like how fast my tech was she was also very informative and I learned a lot of things I didn’t even know which is surprising because I’ve been getting brazilian waxes for over a decade.The icing on the cake: I got a discount for my first visit and found out that their brazilian waxes cost WAY less than what I had been paying all of this time (for better service at that)I also appreciate not having a sticky bum leaving my appointment !!!!

Front desk staff seemed a little friendly but I’ve tried 2 different techs and they weren’t so much. I was shocked to see such young girls (kids in my eyes) working in the back to begin with but neither came off as friendly or welcoming. I had to start conversations with both, just so the situation wouldn’t be more awkward than it already is (being naked from the waist down in front of strangers). Even with me making conversation I sensed a off attitude like not friendly at all or that I was bothering one of them trying to hold a conversation.They aren’t skilled at all with bikini waxes. Both times I left with patches of hair remaining and having to come home and remove wax that was left behind. The technique they use will have you with multiple ingrown hairs and I do exfoliate!!!Lastly, they do not leave the room to let you get yourself together. They come in with you and just turn their back. There’s no wipes or anything for you to do a little courtesy wipe before hand.

My first time at the facility, everything was very clean and the staff is super friendly!

The ladies at the front desk were awesome! But my experience was not great! My technician wasn’t super friendly right away, she wasn’t rude at all just not as outgoing as most others are but it’s fine, I let her do her job. I went in for a eyebrow wax, so she asks do you want them cleaned up or to change them? I said just cleaned up please. So she begins and when she feels she’s done she hands me the mirror to check them out like all other times I’ve beenAnd I noticed some spots were the hair didn’t get removed. So she goes over them again and once finished I look again and notice the hair that I thought she was taking off was still there so I mentioned it was still there. She then asks if I exfoliate and I said no, she then goes on explaining how I should because it will make the hair easier to get out and won’t take so many strips. So then I lay there waiting for her to fix them because I figured since I said there was still hair where I didn’t want it she would go in and get it, even if it was with tweezers but then she just says... your done. And I say oh okay and get up grab my stuff and walk out. She doesn’t walk me out she doesn’t really say anything to me after “your done”. So I wasn’t very happy leaving but I’m one of those people that don’t like to make people feel bad or so have conflict so I just paid and left. After getting in the car I realized not only did I still have hair still on my right eye but she waxed WAY more on my left and my eyebrows don’t match at all one I at least have my normal looking eyebrow but my left is just one skinny line. I hate it! I really wish I could go back in time and go somewhere else. I don’t spend 20$ to have to go home to fix my eyebrows.

I was disappointed today when I had to reschedule my wax appt. because they had me scheduled for the wrong waxing service, which didnt allow enough time for what I wanted to get done.

I had a mishap early this morning with my appointment. The manager on duty was very professional and fixed the issue for me immediately which she did not have to do. Along with that my wax specialist London is amazing. Thank you so much for the awesome and professional customer service that you provided me. After having a not so great experience at another waxing place in Waldorf, I needed to find another place to go that wouldnt shame me (problem at the other place) and who would be professional and courteous to me the whole time. I mean, lets be honest here folks; who SERIOUSLY enjoys waxing and shaving? If I could get away with not having to, I would but I wouldnt want to be mistaken for Bigfoot, thus the reason I am writing this review.My appointment was at 10. I warned my boyfriend (who was my gracious driver bless him) that I would be in there for a bit. My previous wax appointments took an hour which I never understood...I mean Im hairy but not THAT hairy lol. Anyways, I walked in, got checked in and situated and before I knew it, my name was called to come back. I had a lovely woman named Londyn who did a fantastic job. She was funny, kind, and professional. She made me feel comfortable and that is important to me (I mean our goods are all on display, we NEED to feel comfortable.)We were done quickly and she did exactly what I asked for. I left feeling extremely satisfied and I will be making more future appointments with her. I give them 5 stars all the way!

They are so nice and friendly. I called because i was headed out the door to look for a place to do an eyebrow and lip wax when i came across them on yelp. So i called and they were able to accommodate me before an hour, which was great. And because i am a first timer they gave me and eyebrow wax for free. They have a nice waiting area and what is nice is the lobby is separate from the waxing rooms. They have a very calm feel to them. Update i also received a nose wax which did not hurt at all it felt like you were blowing your nose. I was super surprised because i was scared and nervous at first but they are so professional at what they do. I also signed up for the pass were i will receive 12 sessions for a lip waxing for $80 which is cheap when you consider how good they are. They are very sterile and clean. Thanks to everyone for making me feel comfortable also the receptionist was awesome she was so nice.

Today was first time getting a Brazilian wax. It definitely hurt but it was also tolerable. My wax specialist was Brittany M. and she was nice, very informative, answered my questions and got the job done. Would I recommend EWC? I would.

I had agood a Experiments therefore my 1st time..

I was forced to find another esthetician after the Galleria closed down during the pandemic and decided on this place after some Google searching. They take every precaution during the pandemic which I appreciate.I’ve had this service performed countless times in the past and my first experience here was a bit abnormal. In every other location, the esthetician will leave the room and let you prepare and get situated before coming back in to perform a wax. But here the girl led me into the room, closed the door, said to undress, and then lie down on the spa bed. Though her back was to me as she prepped her materials, it was slightly awkward and uncomfortable stripping halfway with someone in the room. She also used hard wax while I prefer soft and did not offer to switch. Hard wax tends to be harsher on my skin and it’s painful when they have to tug on the end to get a good enough grip to rip it off. The place was very clean but one thing I noticed was that the disposable sheet did not covered the bed entirely so I sincerely hope it’s sanitized after every service.It was an acceptable job for the price but there were definitely obvious overlooks. During the wax, I was asked about my exfoliation routine and informed it was not an efficient method and would be shown better products after the service was done. I knew then that staff here were trained to push products onto customers.I was taken to the entrance where all their products are on display from a line I’d never heard of before. I wasn’t convinced and after some clear disinterest on my part the esthetician finally gave up and walked me to the cashier and gave my service slip to another associate, quickly thanked me, and walked away. I’d go again in the future but maybe request a more experienced esthetician.

It was not the best experience at all. The female at the front desk was chomping on gum, not welcoming and speaking like she was reading off of a script. I have been getting waxed for years and decided to give this location a try. The wax specialist was applying wax in blocks. I had asked her to apply in smaller sections. She did not. Of course that hurts a ton more; and the heat of the wax didn’t make it any better. There’s a lot of hair left behind, too. I understand there are time slots, but if the application and removal isn’t comfortable for the customer, stop. What works for someone else, doesn’t work for the next person. Pass on this place.

I had my first brazillian wax this past Sunday, and had a bad experience. Went in for my free touch up today and London was super friendly and thorough, & so was Sarah at the front desk. Definitely will be going back thanks to these ladies.

I have been to four different waxers here and have loved each one. I definitely recommend Lauryn. She is very knowledgeable and gentle. I also noticed she is very on time. I never had to wait longer than two minutes for my appointment. Front desk staff is always welcoming.

My experience was great. I was able to call and get an appointment right away. The technician was professional and thorough without much chitchat and distraction. There was minimal pain and discomfort and all the hair was removed. The room was clean and not too cold. The music was contemporary and enjoyable without being too loud or jarring.

London was the best. She kept constant communication to distract me while removing the wax. I really appreciated that. She had me laughing and feeling relaxed. Thanks London!❤️❤️

I booked last minute at the Waldorf location because I was in the area. The Thursday before Memorial Weekend. I normally go to Pentagon City. The front desk staff was so friendly, and personable. My tech was awesome as well. They all have amazing personlities and show great hospitality.

This was my first Brazilian was and it was an amazing experience. Nicole did an excellent job in walking me through every step. She had a wonderful personality and made the experience very comfortable. She was easy to talk to and provided me with further care in what I had to do after the services. Very much recommended!

If I could give them a zero, I would. Black people. I don’t likw to say that because I am black, but whenever I have a service done by someone of a different ethnicity, I get better service. The front desk staff really don’t care about anything but their hourly wage. I had a 5pm appointment for two services. They give a 9 min grace period. I arrived at 5:10. And I called prior to notify them of the traffic being held up by police. The lady told me I couldn’t be seen for my entire service because I didn’t arrive at 5:09, I arrived at 5:10.So you mean to tell me 1 min made the difference. That’s poor customer service. And I will never be back again

So this one star is not to the clinicians but to the front desk. I tried calling to make an appointment and there was no answer for 20 min. Luckily, I was in the area so I walked in. When I asked if their phones were working and clarified the number I explained that Ive been trying to call for 20 min. No apologies, the front desk receptionist just continued to make the appointment.

This was my first Brazilian wax ever! And what a wonderful experience. Since it was my first time, I received my wax at 50% off. The ladies at the front desk were phenomenal and had amazing customer service! They were so welcoming and kind! My technician, Deidra, was phenomenal she walked me through every step of the process as she could easily tell that I was very nervous, since this is my first time. I went ahead and booked my future appointments as I was very pleased with my service and First impressions of this establishment. 5 stars from me so far. Thank you ladies!

Nice employees. However my Brazilian wax took so long and she had to tweeze and still there were several hairs left. Told me to come back in a few days to touch up. Ive never had such a painful and long wax job, especially one that left so many hairs behind. Nor had to return for a touch up I dont know if its because of my type of hair (coarse and thick) or the type of wax but I wont be returning.

This was my first time ever getting a wax. Kris was very helpful and talked me thru everything that was going to happen. She even answered my many questions as I was nervous. The place seems to be for Express services. They need to warm the place up a bit. They need places bc for customers to place their clothes and belongings. They also need tech with plenty of experience in waxing. However the employees are knowledgeable and very nice and friendly.

No long waits. Everyone is polite. Just remember to bring cash for a tip if you use passes.

My wife visited here recently and she felt the overall experience was mediocre compared to other shops in the same chain and competitors nearby. She felt the lighting in the salon was poor and noticed they missed waxing some areas on her face when she got home. She says it’s unlikely she’ll ever go back.Edit: Wife tried calling back and the manager was “not available”.
