First time in a Books-a-Million. This store is huge. They had so much more merchandise than I ever expected. They cover the whole family-baby to adult, books to movies, music and games and apparel. Our cashier Latanya was awesome. Will definitely go back soon.

I love books and this place has all my favorite authors. Books to read for fun, plants, home improvement and lots of kids books on the discount racks.

I know a lot of stores try getting you to sign up for their stuff but BAM is ridiculous to the point I don’t think I’ll go back. I feel like I’m getting conned every time I check out. First is was do you want to sign up for our membership “you save 10% and get a gift card”. My answer was no thank you. Then a second later “just so you know the membership is normally 25 but for you today it’s 18 for the year” Then a second later “do you want to buy coffee for veterans” then after that “you get 3 magazines subscriptions for FREE which ones do you want there are really good ones”. Of course there’s a catch with that. Just let me buy my 70 dollars worth of stuff I got and leave. Stop trying to con people into your stuff. No wonder people just order online anymore it’s way less hassle. Don’t think I’m going back anymore.

I walked into the store completely amazed by the vast amount of books. I came in looking for manga and they definitely had a lot of manga...and comics and so much more! I’m glad I checked the place out! Also the staff were pleasant and interactive and very helpful

Typical BAM. Its in an easily accessible area. Staff are friendly and helpful. Large selection of books and a large childrens section. The Joe Muggs has strange hours because of the shutdown.

I went looking for Ursula K Le Guin, Stephen R Donaldson, and Spider Robinson. They had none of these. They did, however, have the omnibus edition of Douglas Adams Hitchhiker series, so theres that.

Ordered a autographed book for Christmas as a gift for my sister because it stated that it would be shipped out Jan 12. Aware and ok with the shipment date only to not receive at that time with no email of apologies or whether or not I would be receiving the item. I call to find out about the order and no one in the store can give any type of answer that makes sense or is consistent with previous times I’ve called inquiring about it. I will never purchase anything else from this company nor will I go in to the Waldorf store being as though if I did no one would know anything anyway to assist me in finding out.

Grew up going to the BAM in Greenbelt, MD. Discovered the BAM in Waldorf, MD, and wow. My mind was blown away. Always stocked, always carrying the lastest titles, best unique gifts, huge clearance selection, PLUS a Joes Muggs Coffee shop inside!

Love coming here. Glad to see BAM still believes in physical book stores.

BAM is my happy place.

I found just what I was looking for after a little help from Allison and Danielle. It was a great visit. I always enjoy browsing this store. The staff is always helpful when needed but don’t breathe down your throat. Before COVID there were often kids being tutored in the café. There are also some deals to be found in their bargain area. And if you are willing to stand out in the cold there are items outside on sale too.

A great place that I relax with a book or crossword. While waiting for my vehicle at the nearby Pepboys.The coffeshop inside is quite pleasant as well.

Tons of books and other nice things. This store has everything. I like bookstores. I try to support them when I can. I enjoy going through the aisles looking for interesting titles. A visit to the bookstore balances out the craziness of social media.

This is a low priced store if you are looking for a book. They also have more vies, music, a cafe, and fun tchotkes (aka stocking stuffers). Make this a stop for your holiday shopping!

I love bookstores alot but this one was something different. The layout was amazing and I found everything I was looking for (and more) very quickly. The associates were polite and helped me with all the questions I had. Stop by if youre interested in a new read.

Great little bookstore that resembles a Barnes and Nobles from the inside. All the sections are labeled and the store associates are very helpful as well. If you need anything specific just go up to the front and theyll help you out with any requests.Theyve also got a coffee shop on the inside aa well, but I dont believe you can sit in and use it for studying or what not due to COVID. I may be mistaken though...Overall a 4/5 bookstore!

Very poor service today. Went to the checkout to ask a question and two employees were there with their backs to me, talking and looking out the window. Male employee turned around and saw me, then turned back around looking out the window. I was getting ready to walk out, when he told the other one o was there

One of the few brick and mortar bookstores still around. Yes, Im an avid Amazon and Kindle shopper also but there is something to be said about grabbing a drink from the in-store coffee shop and just perusing the aisles of your favorite genre. Not only might a new authors book cover catch your eye but you may even meet a new friend that shares your interests! They also have music, calendars, seasonal items and unique t-shirts. Its definitely worth a look😉.

This store has a good selection of genres for the area. And each genre has a wide variety of titles. The store is clean, and the staff are friendly. Genres are well marked, and the titles are well organized (by authors last name). I also like that theyve started selling used books, because now you can pick up books that may be out of print, or popular titles for a lower price. The atmosphere of this store is pretty relaxing, and the wifi works decently, so its also a good place to go if you need to get some homework done.

Books are usually in disarray, not in logical places, or out of alphabetical order. Normally has the book you need in stock. Staff is helpful.

Customer service was great. They did not have the book i was looking for, but everything else was great.

I was on a road-trip to visit friends and needed to stop to get a little work done; well of course coffee too. I Google maps coffee shop with seating and found this little gem. I really enjoyed walking about the book store before sitting down to work and enjoy a cup of coffee. I even ended up buying a few gifts where I had the pleasure of interacting with the cashier who was so friendly. If I take that trip again I will most definitely be stopping back.

It has been a while since I went to a book store. This is a chain, one of the last, and you get what you expect. It was kind of nice to see the music and video section. I forgot these places have the library smell. Staff was very helpful, magazine selection was good, and the book selection was as expected...good. We will be back.

Ive always loved big bookstores that sell coffee, so you can browse new and old books in a comfortable environment. Unfortunately, these places are a dying breed, sorely in need of our patronage. I encourage people, especially families, to visit and buy a book or two before they are gone. Amazon is just not the same....

Staff is always helpful. Usually well stocked . Has most of the current titles.

I really enjoy this place. They have a gigantic selection of books so always interesting finds. I like to just walk around and see where I end up. Often left with a book I never knew existed. Staff is nice. They also have an in house coffee shop so its a great place to meet up with someone.

Books-A-Million has a great selection of books at great prices. On this particular trip, I was on a search for Bibles for my family, particularly my kids. They have a large selection of Bibles for youth--study bibles, action bibles, adventure bibles--in all the different versions. I was able to find each of my 3 boys the one that was right for them. Of course, they also have an extensive selection of all your other books--bestsellers, books of all kinds, and bargain books. A great place to get lost in books!

Hello, as a seasoned professional I can say that this is one of, if not the best book stores I have been to. It has things for kids, teens, and people of all ages! It isnt only a book store, they sell merchandise, food, and more! I will definitely be back soon.

I waited until the 3rd time this happened before I decided to write this review.When Im running short on time, I like to run in real quick and grab a bite to eat from their cafe. For the 3rd time in a row now, I walked up to the cafe, with only one customer ahead of me. the customer and associate were chatting. I decided to be polite and join the chat, also mentioning that I have to be somewhere in a few minutes, and that I was just stopping by real quick.That didnt seem to phase the associate at all, who continued working at an exceptionally slow pace, and taking his time for everything.After close to 10 minutes passed by, I simply said, Guess Im out of time. Oh well, have a good one, To which the associate replied, thank you, you too!Theres an obvious disconnect there. I used to love running in real quick when I was in a hurry, but after this poor, thoughtless service 3 times in a row, I wont be wasting my time at Books-A-Million anymore.

Good selection

What a great place to go with a great variety of books and many other neat things like records and Matt and calendars and so on. My favorite thing to do is get a coffee at the coffee shop and sit down and relax and check out the latest books and their coffee shop area. I find it to be very relaxing after my visit and the help there is outstanding

This place was great. You can get all types of literature here from magazines to bibles to collectibles. I came for the bibles & Pop! Collectibles, however ended up lingering for over an hour in the comic book section. Audio books & tablets may be the new trend in the 21st century, however, there is something euphoric and slightly satisfying about exploring the pages of a new genre or novelty.

Love this store! It feels like you walked into a library! If they dont have what you are looking for, the staff is happy to order it for you to pick up. They even have vinyl albums!

Associate was very courteous & polite. They had exactly what was I was looking for as well as a book from a series I enjoy reading that I would have probably to special order it on line if I wanted it. Also found a very interesting book that been reduced.

It is a clean book store in all of SOMD. The workers are very pleasant people. Plus the books are generally on a good sale.

Its not really booming with energy!! I really hope they find a way to draw in a lively crowd. Its too close to the main road NOT to stand out. The staff needs to engage more with the clients instead of each other. Teamwork is great but customer service and interactions are better. Also the kids section is way too dark!! Thats all!!!🙄

While on my way home I called to see if they had a title in the store. Taylor answered the phone, asked for the title and returned stitng they did have the book just as the light turned green. I was able to make the turn and go there before going home. Fast and courteous service.

Been going for a few years now. I love the coffee center along with a wide variety of items for everyone. My fiance is a reader of novels, where as I like comics, and manga. My children love the back section.

Its a shame that book stores are a dying industry. This place is trying to stay relevant in a digital world. They have board games, t-shirts, and fandom swag. The smell alone made me want to stay forever. I forgot how great a giant room full of fresh print smelled. Its intoxicating. Go check this place out before there are none left in the world.
