Great customer service! I had an order pickup and the gentleman was very helpful and kind! There was also two other ladies who helped me that were very helpful! This is why I choose to shop in store instead of online because of the customer service !

Got photos taken which came out pretty good until we saw an imperfection. We called to get them to fix it which they told us they couldnt be fixed we was told by the manager to come back to take another session....catch we have to wear the exact same outfit. That outfit was just for that session have no idea wear it is. However at that point she the manager said just come in and take a new session. Well we did and was told now we couldnt cause she no longer work there......we have pictures we paid for that we cant use. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

I havent ordered from JC Penney in a while due to the pandemic and since this was all foreign to me I feared everything that could be touched by humans. Now knowing much more I felt safe to order some sheets sets. I have always found comfortable sheet sets in JC Penney and there prices are great too. I ordered online, went in and picked up my order with no problem.

The store needs some.e updating. There were ceiling panels down around the entire top floor, due to water damage. I was able find a suit for my son. Great fit.

Ms. Evelyn was most helpful! My experience with her just emphasized the value of excellent in-person/live customer service in the age of online shopping. I was in desperate need of a 3T formal outfit for my toddler son next day. After FIVE in-person unsuccessful visits to different and popular retailers, I was beginning to feel defeated. A retail associate at the fifth store I visited asked if I visited, the Penny. I said no and because of all my unsuccessful visits at that point, I was weary to if try. So I decided to call first.Ms. Evelyn answered, heard my concerns and shopping need, ensured me they should have what I am looking for and after a brief hold for her to go visually confirm and finish up with another customer, she returned and agreed to keep my items at the register, as I ensured I would be right there in less than 10 minutes! When I arrived, JCPenny was a god-send! The selection of formal male toddler wear was amazing! I picked up additional outfits and when I went to the register, Ms. Evelyn shared the items she was holding. I was very pleased and she was even more pleasant in person. I newly moved to Waldorf and the only remember shopping at JCPenny when I was much younger with my own mother, but after this experience, I will ever be loyal to JCPenny and will continue shopping here for my family and personal variety of needs! Thank you for saving the day and for staying open amidst these turbulent times!

Returns are very easy. The Girl who always does the returns is quick and professional.

Pick up back to school clothing and all was on sale. But izod shirt $26 was on a rack for 40% off and I was told it not on sale. All izods was on sale on every rack but not this shirt. No manager came but sent someone who said that shirt was not on sale. Not happy with JC Penney where I shop all the time . Thank you

Found a lot of clothes for my new job. Great deal, a lot on clearance.

Last week we went to JcPenney to purchase some curtains for our new home. Norma at the window dept was amazing. She took the time to assist us with our decision making and at last we were very pleased. My teenage daughter hardly speaks and Norma was able to engage her as well. Norma is a real star and a keeper. JCPENNEY is lucky to have her.

Found everything we needed! Sure hope it stays afloat. The mall is scary empty.

When hair to get photos done was very pleasant experience! The photographer was very pleasant and knowledgeable of the prices would definitely come here again I am thankful that they are still JC Penneys with this option to take pictures

This JCP location surprisingly had my size shirts. Every other JCP within 300 miles is always sold out, don’t carry in-store or just have a tiny section for tall people. It’s nice being able to try something on without having to wait three weeks for delivery.

It was quiet, not too many customers.. I received outstanding service from Delores in the pick up department. She went above and beyond to locate my order. Outstanding professionalism, very pleasant, and helpful on her part.

Must say I was surprised by how good their customer’s service was. I have made several online purchases and everything went smoothly and with no bums. Got to give credit when earned. And they earned it.

The store looks like a thrift store. The grounds around the store has not been kept up.

Need better instructions for curb side pickup. Info on whether upper or lower level. I had to go inside to pick up orders.

Nice selection in the Mens department. Shoe department is now totally self serve for contact less shopping. Petites department is OK but not as well stocked as Womens. I know that petite females are not as plentiful around here but I would like a bit more variety please. Only 2 registers were open on the first floor but, then again, there were not many customers- sadly. An American institution.

I usually always shop at this location but will not return. Delores in customer service was rude and unprofessional during a return. She got smart, for what? I’m not sure. Maybe she’s having a bad day but it’s unnecessary.

Delores was our cashier and she was awesome!! Found us while we were shopping and helped us get coupons which in turn made us buy more than what we came for, but she was great! I dont care how long the line is she will always be my cashier....very friendly, funny, and great personality. She definitely made my shopping experience an enjoyable and unforgettable one!

Found what I needed, after going to other stores, Ross, KB,. Found everything I needed at a good price! I know parents were out in force trying their kids together. No shade! Ross, TJ max, Burlington, always been good to me! This time, Penny was a trip saver!

I wish there was an option for no stars. I just had the worst customer experience in Jcpenny’s at the counter where you pick up your online merchandise. The woman was very rude and unprofessional. She explain that my merchandise was not in and also stated they received merchandise that was not check in yet. When I ask if any one could check to see if it was there and just not check in. You would have thought that I asked for her first born. Then when I mention to about a refund she stated she can’t do a refund I have to go back online. Then when I asked to speak to a the supervisor the supervisor came over and was just as rude. Never identify herself. I can clearly see why the rude and unprofessional attitude comes from. We are only as good as our leaders. I will never order online and have it ship to the store again. There policy in the store does not match there policy online.

Stop in JCPenneys on Independence Boulevard what in the world have happened to those nice clothes and the shoes when you going to get shoes for people that cant wear those three stacked heels JCPenneys used to be a nice wonderful place to shop will you can get clothes nice decent clothes and not so many wrinkled things hanging up on the hangers look like its a place for young people only that just going fishing in high heels I was so hurt all I needed was one pair of silver flat you should go look at those shoes up against the wall some stuff wasnt worth the money it makes me think some of these doors is going broke and they are robbing the people and believe it or not people are just not buying stuff but you can buy plenty makeup

Well, I basically love JC Penney, but on Friday Feb 8 it was sad. The sales associate that check me out felt she needed to assault me. Trying to make me use their credit card. I suggested that I could walk out. She basically says go ahead, you have to go out the door anyway .🤔🤔🤔

Todays experience was not good.The cashier has no understanding of a coupon so she kept on talking over me so I ask her to give me my $71.02 back and I left the store.She was a foreign elder lady.You may want to educate her a little more.I am not going to visit this JCPENNEY in Waldorf Md any more.

My granddaughter gets her portraits taken at the portrait studio twice a year and the photographer (Manager) was very patient and got several great poses for her 5th. birthday.

Love the store but the return method is inconvenient. Having to wait in one area for serveral minutes is ridiculous. There are so many registers where any associate should be able to handle a return.

Found some great after Christmas sales in the shoe department

They had one register open on the entire second floor. The service is awful, they need to hire more people. Then they wonder why people dont come in to shop.

The employees were great but no air on in the store made it miserable for me and others including the employees, the 3 stars are for the wonderful outstanding customer service, please turn on the air conditioner, otherwise I would have given 5 stars.

I had an experience there today that left me feeling that I was not valued as a customer and also felt that the cashier did not go the extra mile or so on my behalf. She was really non concerned if you ask me about what I had gone through. Needless to say after it all, I put my item back and went elsewhere. Just bad experience for me!

This is one of the most diverse stores in the Mall. It has a large selection of childrens, teens & adults clothing plus hair salon, jewelry, perfume, make-up, vision, linen, pots & pans its a one stop shop. Enjoy!

The hair salon at the Waldotf JCP is excellent. My mom goes there every week and receives outstanding service. The staff are so polite and accommodating.
