My wife and I had been married for nearly 15 years. She did not have the wedding set I wanted for her. But only what I could afford. The problem was that the set I got her I bought used. Unfortunately, it was all I could afford. I told her when we finally got financially set, I would get her a new set.After 15 years we were finally in a place financially where I could buy her her OWN NEW SET. Not owned or worn by anyone else. We decided to stop in at Jareds and get just an idea of how much this was going to cost me. Initially, I just wanted to see what type of ring she wanted and then I would go back later once I had the money I needed and get her the ring.Salesperson suggested I try for financing. I was skeptical because no one would approve me for any decent amount loan. For 2 years I had been building up my credit. But it seemed like any time I needed a significant loan because of an emergency and I had already exhausted my savings, I would get denied.Wow was l shocked when I got approved. Not only was I approved but the plan was interest free.Needless to say, we searched and found a set she loved. But not only that, I was able to get a ring as well.People constantly tell us how beautiful ours rings are. My wife and I both remember the Jared commercial. But we say, We went to Jared!Thanks for making the last 15 years worth the wait!!!
My husband purchased my engagement ring as well as my wedding band from Jared. I also purchased his wedding band there. We absolutely love the staff, ambiance, time of service etc... We highly recommend Jared.

Visited the Jared in Waldorf on 3/2/2021. Arrived at 6:11 pm. The doors were locked but it was clear that employees were in the store. Online indicated that the store closes at 7pm. Employees looked several times at the front door acknowledging that we were there however no one came to the door to let us in nor to at least let us know that they were not letting anyone else in for the day. Very disappointed. Came to look for engagement rings. Not sure if I would come back. I didnt like being ignored.
Fiancé got an engagement ring and when purchased was told they did ring guards and resizing. When we both went in only two people were working the whole store. ( they were very busy) Once we finally get to someone we are then told they do not carry ring guards and to go to Clair’s at the mall. Hate paying for something and being lied to.

Jan was amazing. I came in trying to help my grandmother with get her jewelry repaired, left with a beautiful engagement ring. Started looking just on a whim to see what was avaliable. She came over to help and showed me everything in my budget. Found something I loved and I cant wit to pop the question now

They dont know how to open on time. Employees literally watched my husband pull on the door twice and just sat there and stared at him. It was 10:03 a.m. and 10:11 a.m. that he attempted to enter the store. They are supposed to open at 10:00 a.m. He left after that...no one wants to deal with such laziness!

Great experience with getting my jewelry repaired!! I arrived at store when they were about to close. But I received the same level of quality attentiveness as I would have expected if it was the middle of the day. Extremely great customer service, which Im a stickler for. Timely repair...and my wedding ring was looking like new when the job was done!! Wife loved it too!! This particular store is definitely my jewelry store of choice!!
The quality of the jewelry is great. Pam was our salesperson. She made our experience great. But when we bring our rings in for cleaning it is a total different story. They keep asking us if we bought the rings from Jared. Why would we come in if we didnt. The attitude is not one that welcome customers to come back. They are not pleasant.

I took my wedding set and my husband’s diamond band (white gold with white diamonds) to Jared in Waldorf, MD, for rhodium plating. The lady who took our rings asked me not once, but FOUR times, what I paid for my husband’s band; I told her the first time I didn’t remember, it was 14 years ago. She took a picture of each ring, gave me three receipts, and said they’d all be ready at 6 pm. Around 6:15, my husband went to the store with the receipts and was handed a completely different men’s band (black stones). My husband said, “That’s not my ring!” The employee questioned my husband’s judgment, pulled up the ticket, and showed my husband the picture of the ring with black stones. After some robust discussion, my husband told the manager the ring was there years ago for rhodium, the manager went through the computer and found an old picture of my husband’s band. The manager located my husband’s band, but it had been resized one size smaller to fit another man’s finger. Between that lady asking me FOUR times what I paid for my husband’s band, then his gets switched is quite suspicious. Even more suspicious is when I spoke to corporate, the agent said the picture she sees is white gold with white diamonds. Someone is covering their tracks! Something seriously wrong is going on at this location; if it’s not criminal, then it’s gross negligence!

They are nice and helpful as long as they might be getting money out of you, even then its touch and go.The managers are blunt and rude to us and short with their employees.They roll their eyes when they need their help instead of training them. My wifes wedding ring repeatedly needed repair and never once an apology, just a what do you want me to do about it type attitude. My wife went for a cleaning and inspection during operating hours and for some reason the doors were locked. They saw her, stared, then proceeded to ignore her until she just left. We both dread going there, and if not for the warranty inspections, we wouldnt.
We purchased our engagement and wedding rings from this store almost 10 years ago and we’ve always had great service until this time. We brought our rings in to have them cleaned and inspected as part of the lifetime warranty we purchased. Salesman was distracted and brusque; when rings were returned back to us they weren’t even cleaned nor inspected and we did not receive the receipt we always did to show we are adhering to the warranty guidelines. The service here has greatly declined and we won’t be back which is disappointing because we purchase a lot of items from Jared. We’ll be using the Annapolis store moving forward.
This is a nice location and nice sales staff. There is a repair shop onsite which is very convenient. They do an excellent job of sizing rings. A little expensive - I paid $90 something for one ring but it is a professional job. No cut or groove marks on the jewelry.
Love how my customized ring turned out. At first, i didnt like the color of the stone but then found the perfect color I was looking for and was able to switch out the stones.When I sent it back to swap them out I was a little disappointed it took 2 months for 2 tiny stones.But overall great store and employees were very helpful through the process.
The team is awesome! I went in with my fiancée to initiate a custom wedding band. The manager and consultant made this process swift and easy. It didnt take long for the designer to get a 3D sketch back to us. Next up, wax model for him to try on. I cant wait! We are so excited to see the final product.
We have a special relationship with Jareds Sales Associate, Pam. She helped was pick out our wedding rings. Its coincidental, any time we visit Jared she is there with welcoming arms. A lot of our purchases were made with her. I like feeling like fam when we visit Jared. It has been 6 years and through this time we have returned to this store at a minimum 2 to 3 times a year to make purchases for not just ourselves but family members. Pam offers not just her warm hugs but advice, jokes, drinks, anything to make us feel welcome and valued customers.
This is not a review of Jared as a franchise, but this individual store located in Waldorf, MD.The woman (notice I dont say lady) was VERY rude over the phone. 100% never going to this store ever again. I will happily drive the 1.5 hours to any of 3 other locations I am familiar with so I can see friendly, reliable, honest, and respectful people.This store has a 3.1 star rating for a reason.

I first called to see if they did repairs and spoke to Tracy. She was so polite answered all my questions, once I arrived she automatically knew who I was because she paid attention to me when I called.. That was huge in itself, she quickly approached me and helped.. Pointed me and my son to the kids room (which is freaking amazing!!) he was distracted long enough for the repair to be taken care of.. I thought I was going to be there a awhile and I was unsure how much things would cost but within 5/10mins the repair was done and at no cost.. It was a simple fix and Im sure they could have taken advantage of me because I didnt know how bad the clasp was.. She also took care of cleaning it for me!!! I would highly recommend this particular Jared to everyone!Thank you Tracey!!! My husband is deployed and with two little ones you helped this mom out in a quick matter.. Costumer service is huge for me and Jared should know how luck they are to have you work for them..
My husband and I have been trying to get our Jared account straight, $1500 was on my account and I didnt purchase anything. Finally after a year they cleared it up, but created another problem by placing the charge on my husbands account. My husband refuses to purchase anything else from there. In the meantime Im trying to have this problem resolved. Customer care cant figure it out! I have gone up to the store where management was very rude to me, referring me back to customer care when the diamond specialist was the one that created this issue in the first place.Another issue is, everyone say something different to be working for the same entity. All of them tells you something different just to get that commission. I had to report them to Customer Care before returning the item. This issue is way too complex and they are making it worse. Before purchasing, make sure you understand and youre rights because they do not take returns in a positive way.
Bought an item and paid cash for the item. Tried to return the item 1 week later and have to wait for a check to be mailed. Didnt mind taking my money but felt like I couldnt get it back. Nothing bad about the product just wasnt what they wanted. Everyone was also very nice while your buying stuff but not so much when you return
Certified Diamontologists were very knowledgeable. The new Pandora upgrade in the store is AWESOME. There is a kids play area while you shop! So nice! Great service! Also a fast Same Day Repair Shop on site!

The staff was very helpful and made all the store options available to you within your price point however the repair service was bad. I had to wait four to pickup my ring from the time I arrived at the store even-though I was told it was ready.
I had been to a few jewelry stores looking to upgrade my wedding rings but wasnt finding exactly what I wanted. I went to Jareds and explained to the sales person, who I think was the manager, what I was looking for. She seemed agitated and rushed. I asked if they were closing soon and she said no. I told her I wanted an anniversary band with an enhancer. She stood there and didnt say a thing. Absolutely no redponse. So I asked where the enhancers were. She still didnt speak but walked a few cases over so I followed her. Again, she just stood there. At that point it was awkward and I was uncomfortable so I left.
My husband has gotten me jewelry from Jared since he proposed. The sales people and all staff are very knowledgeable about the items we have purchased. I went on to get items checked and cleaned, and ended up purchasing a Pandora ring. Its beautiful and I was extremely satisfied with the service I received.
The sales associates who assisted my selection was very polite and knowledgeable about the jewelry that I was buying. They made suggestions and answered all my questions. Very helpful and made the experience a joyful one.

From the time I walk in the door the salesperson was for helpful, they did not have the charm I wanted offer to order for me. Since I did not wanted to order help me to find something else and put the charms on my bracelet.
The managers are very rude. Both general manager and the assistant manager.They lied and told us to pick our rings up at 6 when they closed at 5 today because its New years Eve. Just rude for no reason.

Unsatisfactory. Once I put in my custom order customer engagement was gone. They said theyd accommodate my schedule and rush and yet dont ever make earnest attempts to reach me during the custom process, delaying its production. No voicemails, and always calling later then their unrealisticly optimistic promise. I hope its just this store.

They ripped me off. The lady deceived me by saying that I am getting a low loan rate. It was only after the fact that the low rate was on a monthly basis. Based on the calculation I was charged a 36% APR. I was shocked at their sneaky manner.I am a military officer and they RIPPED me off. Shame on these people!
Was in the store this morning looking for a present for my wife and was passed around from one salesperson to another four times. Each acted like i could not buy anything and i was treated very poorly when actually i was prepared to spend up to $4,000.00. I strongly recommend that the staff be retrained or replaced!!!!!!!!!!!!

Diamondtologist on scene was very knowledgeable and helped me pick out a great engagement ring. The problem I have with this location stems from the store manager Rob who has the character of a loan shark. During the course of my transaction I utilized rewards certificates that I earned making another purchase on a separate item. I then exchanged the item I used the rewards on but I was not given credit for my $200 reward certificate that I initially used. When speaking to Rob he basically told me that dur ing the transaction a decision was made to save me $40 therefore the separate $200 reward certificates were no longer redeemable. I was in no way informed of this prior and felt cheated out of a promotion that Jared offered me to begin with.

I purchased a LeVian ring for my wife in December at the Arundle Mills, MD location. The staff and experience there was great but I had a few issues when I went to get the ring resized at the Waldorf, MD location. The person who took her ring measurements initially didn’t offer her the variety of sizes at first and managed to get the wrong size. When we picked it up, they gave us the ring in a cardboard box instead of the original Jared padded box we had dropped it off in. My wife had to go back and get it redone again and the sales associate seemed non chalant. When we went to pick it up, they gave her the ring in a plastic bag. When she asked to get a box for her ring, they treated it like it was an inconvience to them. For any future services/ purchases, I will be going to the Arundel Mills, MD location.

My bestie and I stopped by Jareds because we both wanted to purchase our very own customized Pandora bracelets. When we arrived we were so pleased that we were greeted warmly and that her kids were directed to the play room. How thoughtful that they have an area setup for children!Our jewelry representative for our visit was Gi-Gi. She was so sweet and helpful! My bestie and I were both so picky and tedious. We absolutely wanted the perfect charms and bracelet. After an hour Gi-Gi was still smiling and supportive. She offered really great advice and tips.Towards the end of our visit my bestie asked if her jewelry could be professionally cleaned before she left. She was told that it could only be wiped off. I thought they could have accommodated her request much better.Anyway, I think this is a nice store, with friendly associates. Would revisit.

I got great service from the manager and staff, but I had a problem with the records that showed my ring not being covered for routine service even though my other two rings that were bought a month later were and for the last ten years it has been under warranty.
Visiting Maryland from Texas and needed a new battery for my Tag Heuer that I bought at a Texas jared just over a year ago.The gentleman on the repair section was slow, unresponsive to questions, condescending, patronising and possibly the worst representative in a jewellers I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. He even chose to lecture me on how quality watches need special care and testing when having batteries replaced. This is my third Tag!!

Unprofessional Management. Called the regional Manager and still no call back. Never will buy there again, until someone cleans house of the Management Staff currently in place. Made to feel very uneasy while in the store and was targeted with profanity by the manager to another employee when she thought I was to far away to hear.
