Thank you to the two gentlemen that were working today 4/25/2021 day shift. I came in because I had to buy some tools to get my daughters bike fixed and ready for their birthday party. Quick, easy and friendly service. I was able to find what I needed online and make the purchase and pick it up a short while later. It was very convenient.And it solved my issue. (Power steering fluid was low).

I went in to Advance Auto on Lake Michigan Dr in Walker, MI tonight to replace a battery in my car. Ethan went above and beyond, not only to replace my battery (which was a task in itself due to the car), but also to look at some other issues I was having and help me out. He explained everything he was doing, explained what he saw that shouldn’t be happening to my car and he was so courteous. He was very professional and honest. After replacing my battery, due to other issues my car was presenting, he stayed outside with me while I started my car and told me he wasn’t going to be okay with letting me drive away if it was still doing some of the other things. Thankfully, the battery helped a lot. But I truly appreciated his concern for my well being and the fact that he cared enough about a customer to make sure I was safe. This is the first time I’ve purchased anything from them, but it will not be the last. Based on the customer service I received today, I will be a returning customer for life and will refer all friends and family to them. Thank you, Ethan! You were a great help!

If youre a Grand Valley student, dont forget to bring your ID and ask for the student discount! I would highly recommend this Advance Auto location, even if its out of your way.

Open late, love that. The prices are a LITTLE high, but if you research your prices, they will price match quickly and easily. Sometimes they dont go 100% of the price match, but were within $0.50 on items around $5, and within about $1.50 on my $15.00 items. This was enough to make me buy my stuff there, (saves time driving around, and money for gas)...If they just lowered the price and I didnt have to ask, and if their inventory was larger with deep discount oil prices, Id give them 5 stars - its a corporate thing... so they wont. However, if you dont care about saving about 10% then maybe its not a big deal for you. (Admittedly, however, there were 2 items out of 12 which they could not match to my satisfaction, and I chose to wait and get a good deal elsewhere... STILL, you should try to get the deal, especially if you are a regular buyer of parts...)BTW - Ive never had anything but excellent customer service at this location. EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Honestly, some of the worst service Ive received from any store. I brought my car in to get my battery charged, and everything went fine until they pulled it out. It was covered in some corrosion and battery acid, and the people working there told me they didnt have any battery terminal cleaner and they hadnt for 2 weeks. While my battery was charging, I waited in the store, and 2 of the 4 guys working were throwing stuff around the store and swearing and making jokes (my first indication that this wasnt going to be a good trip). My battery was junk so I got a new one and they installed it. My car didnt start so I asked for some help. When we managed to get it started, the MANAGER of the store proceeded to tell me that I needed to get my car to a shop AS SOON AS POSSIBLE because he thought my car had a short in the cables. My positive cable was hot and he didnt know why and my vent hose was apparently very out of shape. I was absolutely devastated being a college student with a limited budget. Luckily, my dad runs a body shop and I was able to bring it home instead of using Advanced Auto Parts auto shop they recommended. My dad fixed my car and the ONLY PROBLEM was that these MANAGERS at this store had not connected my battery properly. The positive terminal cord was so loose, we could shake it while it was connected(causing the heat) and the vent hose was not misshapen at all. Very disappointed with the service I received. If I didnt have family connections, I probably wouldve dropped $100+ dollars on a non-issue. Next time I have auto needs, Ill be sure to go to a Napa Auto Parts store or Auto Zone.

These guys are amazing. When I went there they had almost everything I needed in stock and the things they didnt were there within 24 hours. Youre car is squealing. You have a little money, and the internet has a million diagnosis for that one sound. Who do you go to. Ive been going to this advance auto parts. My tie rods, sway bar, and power steering pump were going out. They helped me diagnose the issues and prioritize the repairs with my funds. Great team at this location.

Not very helpful.... call and ask if they carry a tool and they reply I think so .... ask for a oil filter and they point to the filters and say its over there ....

Second trip here. First one was for some replacement bulbs. They had what I needed in stock and I was happy. Second trip was for windshield wipers. I ordered them online and did store pickup as I utilized some stellar coupons. They also had what I needed in stock and I was pleased as my Mercedes-Benz has odd sized blades. Upon arrival two gentlemen helped install them on my car. It took a bit of finnagling but they got them on in no time and I was on my way. Highly recommend. Convenient, friendly and they also have a slightly extended open time on Sundays.

Will never purchase from Advance Auto Parts again. I walked in and found the bulb I needed. I was never greeted, acknowledged or asked if I needed assistance. While waiting in line to pay, two men walked in and were greeted the moment they stepped foot in the door. Aaron C. needs an education on customer service or is to young and ignorant to understand and comprehend such a concept as customer service.

They were very helpful with solid knowledge of the product/they had what I was looking for.

Looked at Autozone and Meijer and this place had the least expensive battery for my 2001 Jetta. The employee who helped me tested my battery for free and actually explained the problem with my current battery at the time instead of simply saying that I needed a new one. They also installed the new battery in my car for free.
