This is the second time I have used this Midas location since moving back to the Bay Area. I’m very positive about this location in particular. Both times the value and speed of service was exceptional. AND… the big plus is the life time warranty.

Have been to this location multiple times, they are always fast and professional. Most recently I had a oil change and they helped me with getting two new tires, they communicated with me very well and it was all done faster then expected. I would highly recommend this business.

Owner/Manager Rob was extremely rude and disrespectful. When spoke with him to receive an estimate on service he requested I email him information about the vehicle and area to be serviced. I emailed him the info and he never replied. I then followed up via phone and he requested personal identifying info that would normally not be requested for an estimate and when I asked why he needed it he got defensive and aggressive and denied to complete the estimate. Overall, a horrible experience from the owner, seems sketchy behavior something that you would expect from a scammer.

They have always been honest and professional with me. Really value having a local auto repair shop that gives me real prices and keeps it honest. Can not recommend enough. Been coming here for over 5 years.

Mixed feelings. Be careful, they dont look up your previous visit when you bring your car in, so each time its like theyve never seen you before. Service is otherwise good.

I always take my car here for oil changes, it’s the only place I trust in the area. They are great at communicating what things are needed and what can wait till next visit.

I’ve been here multiple times with different vehicles (Cadillac/Chevy/VW/Toyota), for different issues, always quick and friendly. Will be returning as usual when needed.

At a time that was not especially convenient, rod came through for us. We were visiting family and getting ready to hit the road again when we heard a grinding clicking sound coming from our front left tire. He dropped everything to help us, quickly and correctly diagnosing the issue and correcting it in record time. He saved us when we were in a pinch. Called to make an appointment. Owner said no appointment needed. Walked in, they honored a coupon offered for an oil change, no questions asked. The owner Sam was courteous and professional. They service was very prompt and professional. Was out of there in under 30 minutes total. Great job!

Midas was great the best deal wow. Such the price for an oil change. Still less than 25 bucks, kind genuine guys working hard. Thats the midas touch.

Been going to this location for many years, thru several owners (I think). Never the most organized, customer-friendly place, but they seem to get the job done - only once did I have to return due to work issues - considering perhaps a dozen visits, not bad. That said, havent found any place better/more convenient, so still go back, mainly for warranty work when I need new brake pads etc.

I usually dred going to repair shops because they have terrible customer service and try to upsell you things. Didnt experience any of that here. Friendly guy at the counter who gave a realistic time expectation. Will come back here for sure.

Sam is a great guy. They provide excellent service. We had tires put on in Concord, a flat the next morning, and Sam at Walnut Creek fixed everything that Concord... (im being polite) ...messed up. Thank you Walnut Creek Midas.

My car is older with around 110k miles, so I asked for the High-Mileage service which also included a tire rotation. I was greeted promptly and courteously. In-n-out time was about 30 minutes, primarily because another vehicle was ahead of mine. Out the door, including tax, the cost was about $55. I didnt experience/encounter any upsale pressure. The technician showed/told me that my brake fluid would need service soon, but its attention wasnt critical to my cars safety. Thanks!

I wish I could give these guys 1,000 stars. My husband and I were visiting Mountain view, CA for a concert when his right brake caliper came loose and seized his brake causing us to come to an immediate stop on the freeway. After a stressful and long wait for a tow truck I decided to give these guys a call since they were only 4 miles from where we were stuck while we waited. Rod was so friendly and said he would happily take a look at it for free and give us an estimate and probably even get it all fixed TODAY!!! Our tow arrived and brought us to Midas a few minutes later. Rod and his crew started helping us immediately. As soon as we were in the parking lot Rod was trying to figure out what happened and get it fixed. Even with a garage full of other cars he was able to squeeze us in. An hour or so and they had it fixed, gave us a phenomenal cost (less than half of what I expected), and sent us on our way. WITH TIME TO STILL CATCH THE CONCERT!!!! Im forever gratful. Thank you for hands down the best experience I have ever had at a repair shop. I would recommend to anyone to go here!!

Very poor service! I would not recommend anyone to spend their money at this particular location. Car Inspections are not met 100%, the owner is very rude and talks down to customers and overall very disappointing experience! I will never be coming here again!

The owner is so unprofessional, rude & inconsiderate. First, I was told I can come in early and they might be able to squeeze me in. When I arrived he huffed and puffed about me being there early and repeatedly told me that there was cars in front of me. Second, I had my dogs in the car. One which was a service dog and he scoffed at me and told me I would have to leave if a customer came in that was scared of dogs... A SERVICE DOG. Im sorry, thats a lawsuit right there. He treats his employees like dirt. There is a female employee (April) that is very sweet & helpful. He constantly talks down to her and is very snappy with her. Very disrespectful. He then tried to charge me $79.99 for an oil change in a Chevy. I dont even pay that in my Audi... Needless to say, I will never return. I feel very sorry for his employees. No one should be treated in the way he treats his.

For one thing its convenient because its so close to me but the service has been consistently great and the staff always friendly. I think Sam is the manager or even maybe the owner, either way hes great.

My husband and I came from LA and leaving tomorrow. We were looking for a place that could check out our brakes and Sam was kind enough to take a look at the car after only having less than 1 office hours. Had a problem with the suspension on my new Toyota Tacoma.. He was able to fix it were many werent. Even the dealer was glueless . The owner operator gentleman is a true honest old school owner. Would always come back again as I trust this guy.

Brought my car in for a free brake inspection because I heard a bad grinding sound. Gave me a free estimate, that seemed high until I called around. Dealer was $300 more, and didnt offer a lifetime warranty. The crew at Midas got the job done in the same day for less, and I now have lifetime warranty on my pads. Ill be saving on brakes for as long as I own the car. Couldnt ask for better service. Friendly and honest.

This shop is honest, fair, and does good work.

Extremely bad service. I especially made an appointment, since had to leave that day. When I came, they told me that there is no any appointment for me. Instead of at least an apology, the women who worked there that day was giving me an attitude. She said that it would take them more than an hour to change oil and asked me if I still want to do it. I said no, thanks and walked away and she was showing her attitude when I was on my way out. Terrible, terrible costumer service.

Good communication and personable attention to customers

Had them look at my breaks because of a soft pedal and they said it was my break booster. The part that came was the wrong one and had to keep my car an extra day. The next day they got the right one and it didn’t fix the problem so they ordered a new one. Then new one came the following day and still didnt fix the problem. After they realized it was the calipers the whole time and not the booster, I had to pay for the calipers and the 3 day adventure with the break booster. With 100 dollars off I paid $830 and was out a car 4 days!! WILL NOT BE GOING BACK

Took my car in for an oil change and they couldn’t get the filter off. Normally that it not be their fault because the previous person tightened the oil filter incorrectly. Unfortunately, they were the last place I had my oil changed. After four hours of waiting, I left with the same dirty filter until they could fix it two days later. Mechanics had a tough time with oil filter worries me on working on more complex parts of a car. Will not be returning to this location.

Midas did breaks and spark plugs for my car. Completed as promised. All good.
