Good selection of things. The cashiers are quite friendly, too. However, customer service should definitely improve with the associates around the store when customers ask for assistance or help.
I love Target. Selections, display, vibe, etc. Its my go to. Your online/pickup experience SUCKS. Seriously, I say this with love. I love Target. You do not get online AT ALL.

This is one of their super Targets. Well stocked, organized and clean. Underground parking - great for Walnut Creek hot summers and cold winters. Lots of checkouts so the line to pay is never long. Had to make multiple inconvenient visits to the store due to poor customer service. Please make sure your employees know the return policies and do not provide three different opinions. I was told by one employee about a possible return and to go back with appropriate information only to be met with an inability to return, completely different than what I was initially told. This was terrible customer service and even took me over an hour to get resolved once in the store due to employees not knowing their policies. Very unprofessional.
Pretty clean, organized and friendly store. The drive up service is great too. No need to get out of the car at all.

I recently shopped at this Target store and was assisted by your associate Tyler. He explained what I needed to do to get my new IPad working and even took the time to write the instructions down. I am eighty-five years old, hard of hearing and dense when it comes to computers. At home I tried to set the new IPad up and although the process is simple I got totally confused. I went back to the store and Tyler had things done in minutes. I have been at your store with computer issues before and your electronics department is outstanding. Thank you.

I like Target . But i did a in store pick up it was a gift that my son had ordered and asked me to pick it up . He thought by me picking it up that there would be no problems because he recently will not go into the store with out me . He has said that he is fallowed when going into the store by your team members watching him . over all i can understand what he has told me . Jackey was the person that helped me . She did not acknowledge me at first till i asked for help. Jackey then said that she could not find my name then i asked her to look under the purchase and then she found it . I showed her my id . and then went on my way to shop some more i guess she is just a rude person because that day the store was not to busy .

I love this place its my local grocery and home goods store. The staff are so friendly and they have a wide selection of stuff that range from clothing to groceries. All reasonably priced. Basically there is a price point for most. Added bonuses are, Starbucks, pizza hut, free Wi-Fi gaming station for kids and the self checkout is seamless. Most stores self checkout stations I really dislike because they make it so complicated or the scanners dont work properly, but here, lets just say I have not had to go to a manned till in a while. Worth paying a visit if you havent already been here.

Hard to beat the cost, convenience, selection of products and Great customer service! There are always great sale items. Most stores share a similar floor plan so if your going to a different Target store the experience will be the same. Staff from store to store are knowledgeable and always willing to help you . You cant go wrong when you give someone a Target Gift Card!
The exchange and returns section werent helpful at all. I happened to get my nephew a faulty switch that wouldnt turn back on after his first use. so i went in just to do an exchange hoping if they didnt have one they would at least place an order seeing that Im still in the 30 day window. instead Im told that I should drive around and find a target with one even after I told her that no target within 100 miles in our area has one she tells me well I guess you just have to keep looking. Im not one for reviews but thats just not right I told her I have until the 25th and then i cant return it and she just shrugs like its not her problem. I understand everything in the world is crazy right now but pretty much being told figure it out yourself is really messed up i got no help whatsoever. I even contacted customer service the night before and was told to go in store just for someone in store to tell me they cant help me. theres no reason to give someone the run around for no real reason she didnt even want to help me look for other stores because she knew when I told her no one in 100 miles has stock that i was already screwed but thats just bad on the company. the only thing she left me with was that I should just order another one online which means i have to spend another $300 plus shipping and to figure out what to do with the broken one I have now

This place is a mess - and never seems to have what I need in stock. The bicycle section in particular is a nightmare of piles of mis-labelled junk, making it difficult to find what youre looking for, or how much that thing you found costs. You may save money here, but you will waste much more time than its worth!

The guest services staff was unbelievable. I arrived at the Walnut Creek store at 7:20 am on Sunday morning. I was the only person in the line outside the store. I was told by a guest services woman that I was in the wrong line and she sent me into a door going into Starbucks. No one was there. I had to call on the phone to get any help. They person on the phone directed me to guest services. Why did the associate send me in through the Starbucks store. The only way I could get help was to CALL ON THE PHONE WHILE STANDING IN THE STORE.

I was verbally abused by one of the employees today.The young woman working at the self-service check out this morning was rude, demeaning, and aggressively confrontational. She was verbally abrasive, gestured wildly in a manner that bordered on threatening, and did not socially distance. I honestly feel that person has no business working with the public.I feel it important to note that the manager I spoke with was outstanding and handled the situation with courtesy and professionalism; she saved the sale because I was going to find a different store to make my purchases.That being said, I do not plan to return to Target. Yesterday there was an incident in the front of the store that made it clear it is no longer safe to wait in line before the store opens. And today, after I made a special trip back, I found it is not safe to shop inside the store either.

When approached your cashier today. She was on her cell phone and told me to wait. Then She Rang me up. Next, she blew are nose and continued work. Not cleaning her hand! Next, she got back on her cell phone. Then Gave me my receipt. Target failed today. Your employee failed the safety of customers and employees. During this virus time.

Love this Target store because it has a much more broad selection than any other store in the area. Very clean and organized for the most part. Love that they have about 10 self check out lanes with 2-3 attendants at all times in case any issue arises while checking out. The front parking lot can be a mess so usually just go right to the parking garage under the store and parking is usually relatively easy to find.

Does not seem to be handling the Covid crisis very well. They want to stay open,but have minimal staff, one register, and make people wait in a line to the back of the building to use self checkout, making people wait in line behind those using regular checkout. Not very organized.
Whats not to love about target? You can buy anything you want here. I like this location because it is fairly close to downtown walnut creek. I can finish up my shopping at Target and then grab a bite to eat downtown afterwards. Great location and great store!

Lots of merchandise, lots of color, pricing great.. nice to walk around and see deals and find great little gifts. Cashier is fast and efficient. Enjoy coming out every few weeks to check out sales and to buy staples. Everyone should get the cartwheel app. Fabulous savings! The recent item purchased was additional 30% off. I have been shopping here for years and the store continues to be one of my favorite. I look forward to their ads every Sunday!

The service and selection and self-checkout helpers are all amazing! As well as the return/customer service associates. It’s a great store with a wonderful selection!
IF Target has what you need, no matter how small or inexpensive you can pick it up for the in-store price and w/out a minimum order. The problem is that selection is pretty limited and things that should be included (TP and hand soap) are not available. But small drug items like lip balm and eye drops are available.
I advised Carolyn (cash register) that the item I took was opened. I asked her if there was another box. Her response to me was, I wouldnt know. You would have to ask a person in that area. I was a surprised because normally, a cash register person would call someone to ask in the customers behalf. I guess she was in a hurry. First time I ever got a poor service from Target. So I just said never mind, instead of getting upset. But I was pretty irked.
I’m a regular at this store. For most part I’ve always had good experiences My main problem with this store is that they always put product on the floor before it’s suppose to be released. It has happened to me several times where I want to buy a product but can’t.Usually the manager will fix it so I could purchase. What got me upset is that the cashier said she had been dealing with the same problem more then once today so that tells me that the store dint make an effort to take it off the floor. And the manager dint make an effort to correct the problem or make it right until I complaint. And the manager still dint make an effort to make it right.
It is rare for me to have a great experience at Target.Yesterday I purchased a toy (hate shopping in stores during the holidays) for a child online, selecting in-store pickup. The item was ready today, so I went on my lunch break. I was greeted immediately, and the woman who helped me was efficient, courteous, a joy. In short, today was best experience I’ve ever had with in-store pickup, at ANY store! Thank you, Target for making it painless.

This store is always clean and well organized. I usually come here during lunch for snacks or if I need to pick up a quick lunch. The lines to pay can get a little crazy in the afternoon but the self check out usually moves pretty quickly. The few times I’ve had to return something, there was no line and they processed it super fast.
When I went to do pick-up, I decided to go into the store to see if they had one of my allergy drugs. The store was packed and there was zero social distancing. The majority of the people in there were not wearing masks, most were talking on their phones, and gave not even 3 feet of distancing when they where shopping. I believe those working at that Target had no guidance and were doing the best the could under the circumstances. I can say, with no uncertainty, that I will never shop in-store at Target again until they tighten up their Covoid protocal.
When I attempted to return something to the Emeryville store on 8/27/19 that I bought at the Walnut Creek store earlier that day, they said I had to wait a day to return it because it hadnt uploaded to the system. It seems to me that a store should have a means of honoring its return policy which is a contract with the customer. After 20 minutes of waiting in the return line, I found this out. I asked to speak to a manager who could not help me and could not process the transaction manually as I requested. This is ABSOLUTELY UNFAIR TO THE CUSTOMER and likely illegal. THIS RATING RELATES TO OVERALL CORPORATE POLICY and not to a particular store. Target needs to update its data real time or state on its receipts and at its Customer Service counters that it cannot accommodate same-day returns.
I had the worst customer service experience at this location. Let me just preface this by saying I LOVE TARGET. Like any other girl in her 20’s, I come here for absolutely everything, including groceries.This Target has a comprehensive grocery section, but lacks in professionalism and ensuring quality for said groceries. I bought a bag of green beans on 6/17, only to drive home and find out that they expired on 6/9. They were left expired on the shelf for 8 days.I drove back, looking for a replacement. The lady at customer service returned it for me, but said they couldn’t return it on my card because the amount was too small (under $5). This is the first time I’ve ever heard of this. She tried calling someone in grocery to see if there were any unexpired bags, and we waited for 5 minutes, just for nobody to pick up. A manager came and said she’d escort me to go check. She walked very quickly to grocery with me in tow and was so curt and rude in her response. I was just looking for another bag.. We got there and there were no more bags, so she said something along the lines of “sorry, tough luck.”I’ve never experienced this amount of unprofessionalism, and I will never shop at this Target again.
I live near the Pleasant Hill Target so I never come to this one. Wow! I was so impressed! It is a huge store! Much larger selection of everything!!! The clothing section alone was completely different! I didnt know it was possible to have different items in stores that close by! I will be frequenting this Target much more often!

I work a few blocks away and shop at this Target location at least once or twice a week. Its a convenient location to pick up a few items on my lunch break. That being said, Ive had a couple of consistent issues specific to this location.First, on probably two thirds of my visits, something I purchased rings up for a different amount (higher) than what it was marked on the shelf. Often the difference is only a dollar or two, but it adds up and Ive taken to carefully watching the prices as Im being rung-up. The checkout clerks seem very put-out by having to make adjustments, and while I realize this isnt their fault, it isnt mine either. There is never an attempt to correct the price on the shelf, which means the next person is either having to go through the same process or (more likely) being overcharged.My second issue is related to the aggressive marketing of the store-branded credit cards. Frequently I have to decline the offer two or three times in the same transaction and have been pushed to explain why I dont want one. I completely understand that Target has made it a job requirement for the front-end people to sell these cards, but I would appreciate if no thank you could finish the conversation.

Pretty good target. Has a lot of parking, garage under the store. Usually really busy and the lines are long. Last time I went there they were out of the thing I needed and that is not the first time. The prices are SUPER high. Usually clean and tidy though. They are currently under construction, so no Starbucks or food court.
That’s the only Target store I shop because it’s a step above the rest! Great store. Tidy and organized, helpful employees, huge stock and wide variety... I could go on forever. Keep up the good work.
Great prices for all my baby shopping needs. I feel they beat all other in store prices and especially in sales promotions! No one tops them in sales promotions or offers store gift card credit when purchasing mix matched or multiple items in the same department. Great store with all the shelves completely stocked and ready to be bought. All of the employees are very friendly when called upon. Theres this certain manager named Tommy who treats the cashier lanes like Bruce Lee Running water will never go stale so you just have to keep on flowing. He keeps a very transcendental other-worldly optimistic vibe that many may have but most cannot maintain over a long period of time.Overall enjoyed my short visit and would go again.

First and foremost I love Target, so I gave them 4 stars. I decided to apply during the Christmas Holiday. Got the job, loved the co-workers and most managers, liked what I was doing up until I was assigned to work under a supervisor named Richard. Many complaints were circulating about him but, I found him enjoyable to work with until he flashed on me. For the entire two months I was there, all supervisors asked if I was register trained Id reply no and NOT ONE took the time to have me trained. Richard, one day, took me to the beach as he called it and decided to show me the register. He went through his demonstration so damn quick, I was intimated and that was the extent of my training. He held that against me later telling me I wouldnt be able to stay after the holiday due to my inability to help the guests, was his excuse.Well, Im like, we dont have to wait til after the holiday, I quit now, hell, I dont need Target. I took off my regular job one day because I was so sick, I called in to Target too. I promise you, FOUR different supervisors on four separate occasions questioned me about taking off for that ONE DAY. Then I was in the office one day and another employee call out sick. When the office hung up from her call, they all started bad mouthing the employee. I will NEVER work for these people again. It was the worst experience I ever had for any job, who does that! I promise you headquarters in Hayward doesnt know this is going on. This is the most unprofessional environment and their management and HR office needs a complete overhaul of the people running it. The ladies bathroom wreaks of urine on a constant basis, its HORRIBLE. Im GLAD I quit.

I had a $40 off coupon from getting a Target Red Card and bought 2 Wranglers that were $19.99, BOGO 50% off along with a few other items. It is absolutely ridiculous to find out upon perusal of my receipt that only $3.75 was discounted on the Wranglers when I was expecting $9.99 discount. Apparently the apportionment of the $40 off coupon reduces the 50% off discount proportionately.
Had some bed risers that were showing available online but there werent any in the shelf. The store was very busy, I came up and a cashier asked Jackson if he could find out, he was clearly busy but was very nice and professional and had the item brought from the back. This is rare in retail, please continue to serve us this way. Jackson should be commended for his attentive service! Also The cashier Elizabeth was warm and friendly. Now if you could just double the size of your parking lot Id give 10 stars 😁

Its prejudice against older disabled folks and definitely if your older forget it..I used to love it there.i would rather go to San Ramon instead even though I live close . It dirty and discussing in restrooms. Just plain seedy . I even had a phone taken from me when not looking. As well as cash from my wallet. They shrug there shoulders . And have said some pretty disparaging remarks to me. They really need to take control of the store or close it and fire their current CEO. Boo and hiss . Shame on you!😣

Target in itself is great here. Plenty of parking upstairs and underground. Carts are always put away and the customer service is ok. The prices aren’t always consistently kept up, so beware. The bathrooms are disgusting and are hardly ever cleaned. I once saw feces smeared on toilet seats and used paper products in the stalls on the floor. It’s ridiculous.
Target never has what I need when I shop there. Youre better off going to Walmart. Target does not know how to keep its inventory in stock! I have the exact same experiences in every Target Ive ever visited. You might get lucky and find some good clearance sales. Thats the best you can hope for.
