What can I say, felt right at home here! Walked in to an amazing display of lights and was greeted by Behrang who made me feel like Ive known the guy for years. He assertively but invitingly asked my wife and I what we were looking for, what we had in mind, and literally within seconds knew what to suggest. It was tough for us to know what to be looking for because we had just purchased a house that was built in the 1920s, it was our first home owning experience, and we were trying to remodel on a very tight budget. Cannot express this loud enough, the lights and fixtures he helped us pick out that day, we still get complimented when friends and family walk into our house! I would refer WCLC to anyone looking for lights of any kind, not only for their incredible selection to choose from, but the way they make you feel from the moment you walk in!

You know a customer is loyal when hes willing to drive 45 minutes to your store! I live in San Francisco. There are plenty of lighting stores closer to my home. Behrang and his team, however, leave no reason for me to even consider other shops. Their showroom has a broad selection of modern and antique-looking fixtures + a solid range to match any budget. Custom orders are also super easy. Behrang knows his selection really well. In addition to buying new fixtures, they also stock the odd light bulbs that you have a hard time finding elsewhere.As a realtor its always my first stop (and typically my only stop) in redoing the fixtures of a home. Make sure to say hi to Monta the frenchie while youre there ;-]

Hands down this lighting store is an East Bay gem! Sent photos of the track light style I was looking for and received almost immediate response from the store founder Behrang. Great selection of high quality and stylish LED lights for reasonable price point. Behrang went above and beyond (twice!) to deliver items to my home to save me the trip to WC. Professional and really amiable. Hard to find such attention to detail and customer service these days. Ten stars for Walnut Creek lighting!

Went to Walnut Creek Lighting shortly after moving into my new home in Oakland. I was very pleased with the selection and the staff was amazingly helpful. I replaced the outdoor lighting and vanity lighting throughout the entire house, as well as several wall sconces, and two chandeliers. I was looking for something super specific for above my dining room table and Behrang (the owner) helped me find exactly what I was looking for in one of the store catalogues. He put in the order right away and it arrived promptly. Would highly recommend Walnut Creek Lighting to anyone looking to elevate the look of their home!

All of the employees I have worked with at Walnut Creek Lighting are knowledgeable and friendly. We bought lights for our entire home when we moved in last year. The process was daunting at first but Behrang and his staff helped us with all of choices.The in store inventory is ample and it is so nice to see things in person instead of just ordering them online. I highly recommend this local gem.UPDATE: we recently moved to Sacramento and were purchasing lights for our new home. After going to five different stores in the area we decided it was worth it to make the trip back to Walnut Creek Lighting and talk directly to the experts!!! The care we were given at Walnut Creek Lighting was so much better than any other store I happily made the hour drive. Behrang and his staff are able to show you many options in the store and have a deep knowledge of all things lighting. Our new lights were delivered right to our doorstep and the employees had even labeled each box letting us know which light went where. This was especially helpful with the stress of installation and let us communicate quickly with our electrician. I cant say enough about this awesome store. Last weekend we went into the store and were blown away by the selection and it turned out to be way bigger than we thought it would be. They have more fans to look at than any other store that weve gone into. I showed the guy some pictures on my phone of the bedroom that we wanted a fan for. He right away showed me a fan by minka air that was much nicer than anything we had seen before. He was so good and accurate with the size of the fan and the design of the room. I will come back for design advice, haha. Anyway we bought the fan and they took it off the ceiling and boxed it for me in just a few minutes. Its now installed and working great.

Fantastic selection of lights and more importantly, great customer service. I wasnt sure what I wanted but the staff was super patient in showing me different options for lighting my living room. They were patient with me until I finally decided on the right floor lamp and I love it! Highly recommend this place.

I promised myself I would take the time to write a review for Walnut Creek Lighting because in three years of working on building a new house, they were one of the few vendors who were excellent all the way through. We purchased a majority of the indoor and outdoor lighting for our new house from them. I had no experience with lighting and didnt know what I wanted, but Kathy very patiently and with much expertise guided me through choosing each light. She met with me for several hours multiple weeks in a row to get this done, and she was great about advising me when lights I chose wouldnt be enough for the room, and she had endless patience with keeping up the search if we couldnt find something I liked. They have access to lights from many, many companies, and all the books right there in the store to page through.When the lights came, they were neatly labeled the name of the room they went with. When covid hit and one light was still on backorder, they updated me regularly until it came in. When it arrived, it required multiple tweaks to get it to hang right on our sloped ceiling and their driver picked it up and dropped it back off quickly so our electrician would still be onsite to re-hang it. The employees share an email address so even if Kathy wasnt there, someone else would help me (shout out to Katy for pinch hitting many times). Behrang, the owner, is endlessly customer-service oriented and positive. Overall, this was one of the best vendors we worked with and I recommend them highly!

Extremely knowledgeable and patient. Walnut Creek Lighting has selections well beyond what is on display and they take the time to help you decipher what might work best for your needs . Over the past decade and a half, they have helped me with lighting design, purchase of fixtures and installation for both business and residential. I consider them a first, and only stop, when it comes to lighting.

What a gem this place is! I went in looking to replace the sconces in our 1920s home. I didnt have anything particular in mind and wanted to browse. I was greeted immediately by Behrang the shop owner, asked if I needed any help and to let him know if I had any questions. It was a busy time in the store, but I could see that all the staff there was attentive to all the customers whether they were just browsing or actually working with the team on designs and drawings for different projects. I took the time to browse and find some amazing options that caught my eye. This store has the best selection for almost any type of light you might be looking for. Behrang answered all my questions and helped guide my decision simply by looking at photos on my phone and listening to me trying to describe my home. In the end, I left with sconces that looked beautiful in my home and he even shipped the rest of my order to my home within a week. I am so glad I made the trip out to Walnut Creek. So we are in the market for new lighting fixtures in a home im renovating and we got here a little early so we had to wait 30 min in the parking lot. Walked in as soon as they opened and werent even greeted with a good morning or hello . But a older lady walked in and everyone behind the counter said good morning. We werent helped at all . No one asked if we needed help fining anything. They were watching us like if we were going to steal something. Dont waste your time here if you appear to be younger, I dont appreciate being descrimimated against.
