This is a nice store and easy to deal with! Sam, the owner, found a new repairman about a year ago and he just did a wonderful job fixing the broken neck on my cello. Sam says he works on just about anything with strings, including guitars, mandolins, basses etc. Fast service and great prices!! I highly recommend them! Plus, hes open 7 days a week. They also repair brass and woodwinds too! I highly recommend them!Vanessa W

Thank you - Countrywood Music - for the wonderful violin I just rented and your reasonable way of renting and suggestions on learning to play it! Through all the years Ive bought stuff there and had some great repairs done, as well. I have always found that you have a great store for students good advice and prices. You also told me that I could come in on Sundays and you would tune this violin for free! Thanks for being there!

Im a casual bass player, purely for fun. I got my first guitar tuner here, and ever since I have considered Countrywood Music to be a local gem in a sea of big box stores. The owner is remarkably knowledgeable about all things music! Can you find the product youre looking for cheaper on the internet? Of course you can, as with any local retail store. But thats not why people go to Countrywood Music... we go there because of the knowledge and experience available, and the service you can only get at a local experts store. The owner changed my bass strings on the spot in about 15 minutes. Talk about convenient! I also have several friends who take lessons there and everyone really enjoys it. Bottom line, local stores like this are few and far between, and I have always been treated very fairly there. If you care about experience and expert advice, this is your store.

Its rare and special to find a music store that can exist nowadays. A place where you can rent or buy, find lessons, or arrange repairs. The owner (Sam) is a very polite and soft-spoken man. Very calming and peaceful to speak with; a very humble fellow. Its probably why he holds back on details, his respect for the customers opinion and his humility. Just know - the more you ask the more you get. Hes honest and will level with you.Lessons are available for stringed instruments, woodwinds, brass, piano, violin, voice, drums and even harmonica! The loyal customers and teachers speaks volumes!

This business was very helpful. I called to see what the cheapest rosewood and horsehair violin bow was they had in stock. I had ordered a violin online and a bow arrived broken. I didnt want to wait for it to be resent so I decided to buy one locally. They were very friendly and offered to hold it for me. Thank you!

This guy is a total liar and crooked business man. A few months back, I purchased a flute for my kids band class. I had mentioned to the man that she had never played and wanted to learn. I was told because I was buying a brand new one and if it turned out she didnt want to continue that I could return it as long as I kept the receipt. When I went to return it, he had a case of total amnesia and said that they dont take back anything. I reminded him that I purchased the brand new one at over $300 on the promise that he would take it back. Hes a liar and if you plan on buying anything and returning it here you may want to think twice about doing any business with this place.

Not a good place for guitar amp repair. I cant speak about the other services. But it should be known that I brought a guitar amp there to have a bias adjustment on the new tubes I just put in. A bias adjustment has always ran me between $15 to $25. They charged me $85, completely over-board. When the Amplifier was returned to me, it didnt work. Not sure what they did to it, but the amp does not amplify. I would have expected for $85 they would have at least tested it before giving it back to me. I use to have an amp needing a bias adjustment, now I have a broken amp and I am reluctant to take it back there. Im out $85 and now an amplifier. There doesnt seem to be much interest from the management to want to rectify this. I was told the repair man was in the hospital and thats where it ended. I just relocated to the area and cant seem to find a good amplifier repair shop. For the record, I dont believe this is one.
