I completed my hyperbaric oxygen therapy and couldn’t be more pleased with the results. I have to admit, I was somewhat skeptical but the therapy was suggested by my Oncologist. I had been dealing with a pain issue for over a year as a result of radiation. I was fortune enough to have found Dr Tufft and Pam. They both are very compassionate people who truly care about you and your healing. I cannot recommend them highly enough.
Thank you Dr. Tuff and Pam. I am extremely grateful they were able to help with my stitches and he took his time. the fact that he and Pam are incredibly nice and genuinely care makes the experience that much better. You wont find better bedside manner or communication.
Dr. Tufft was a blessing when accidentally and at my husband’s desperate hour of need, I came across his name and left him a message. He returned my call at 11 at night, apologizing for not responding earlier and made an appointment for us to go see him the next day. And the healing began. We can never thank him enough. Dr. Tufft is knowledgeable, experienced, skillful, kind and compassionate, everything you expect from a doctor and more.
This place is absolutely amazing! Dr. Tuft and his assistant Pam are two of the nicest people I’ve ever met and Dr. Tufts’ knowledge of wound care is unparalleled. I had initially gone in because I had a large wound that would not heal whatsoever for an entire month after I had surgery. It was actually seriously beginning to worry me and my surgeon said it might even take 6 months to a year to close and fully heal. A year!! So I started to research wound care and therapies that might help and I stumbled upon Dr. Tuft. My first visit he cleaned the wound and put various lasers and creams and collagen films on it and then I did a 90min Hyperbaric Oxygen session. He told be to leave the bandage on for 3 days. 3 days later I took the bandage off and it was COMPLETELY closed. A wound that had been huge and open for over a month was closed 3 days later. I genuinely could not believe it. You can tell Dr. Tuft genuinely cares about how you’re doing and he really goes above and beyond to make sure you’re ok. Now I’m working with him for a few other health issues I have and I could not be more grateful I found him :)
I cannot recommend Dr Tufft and Hyperbaric Medicine and Wound Care more highly. I had been struggling with a surgical wound-gone-bad on my Achilles for 8 months before I met Dr Tufft. His combination of excellent wound care (hes a savant about wounds), and the hyperbaric treatments had the wound totally healed in 3 weeks! I am incredibly grateful for his efforts, and the fact that he and his associate Pam are incredibly nice and genuinely care makes the experience that much better. You wont find better bedside manner or communication.
I had a wound on my left leg near my ankle. Whenit didnt heal in 4 months I went to another wound care center in Walnut Creek,CA. After three months I was getting care but no healing. Somewhat desperate I went to the Hyperbaric & Wound Care Center at 216 N. Wiget Lane and met Dr. Tufft and his staff. From the first visit, I was extremely impressed by his knowledge, concern for me as an individual and his accepting the challenge to cure not care for my wound. Including different approaches including Hyperbaric Oxygen therapy, the wound is now healed. Because of my age (88) and other circulatory issues, it did not heal as fast as I would have liked throughout I was totally convinced I was working with a dedicated, knowledgeable professional concerned about healing the wound and my health in general. If the need came up again I would not consider going anyplace else for treatment.
Best wound care available in the bay area. Most experienced and very knowledgeable. After 4 months of zero progress with a tailbone biopsy surgical wound at John Muir wound clinic Dr Tuft began to to get results 2 weeks in and solved the non healing issue.
