Great beer selection, plenty of the big name Light beer and Pilsners but a surprising amount of Craft Beer as well

My partner and I visited for the first time today. The place was highly recommended. We called in advance to see if they were accepting bottle returns on beer bottles/cans. They said yes. So, we figured we make the drive there (20 mins out of our way), to do that and grab some champagne to celebrate the new year, and our new house. The poor attitude from the short older gentleman at the bottle return area, was unpleasant. After dealing with him, we decided we didn’t want to buy anything. The older gentleman leaning at the register was also unpleasant. There were two younger gentleman working and they were okay. I feel bad for them. If the older gentleman are unpleasant with customers, I can’t imagine how they are with coworkers. I won’t be returning.

For our very first visit we had Incredibly rude older staff. Was yelled at for doing what another employee told me. Then to top it off the older guy at the counter was mumbling stuff about me. One thing he said after I leaned closer was we dont have guns instead we have these incredible machines that take credit cards meaning he wanted us to buy stuff. If we werent treated so poorly by the first older guy we actually planned on buying several drinks for new years and to celebrate another occasion. The same mumbling guy also insulted me in other ways too. So were going elsewhere and never coming back especially since we had to drive 20 minutes to return our bottles.The two younger staff members were nice but clearly not in charge so they couldnt do or saying anything. I hope they find better work environments soon.

This is one of the largest liquor stores in the area with a lot to choose from but what made it stand out for me, was that I asked for a specific item and a gentleman working there went to the location they stock it, they were out of stock and he told me they would order more and it would be there next week. Sure enough next week it was there. Helpful and friendly staff is what you need to thrive.

I have been going here for over 20 years and find the owner and staff very knowledgeable and friendly. This is the place to go for most of your liquor and wine needs. Prices are good as well.

Dont let the shabby interior fool you. They have an excellent selection and knowledgeable staff. They recommended the Kentucky brand beer for me that remains at the top of my list.

Outstanding craft beer selection! This is my go-to whenever I need something new to drink. The wine selection is also second to none. The owner, Fran, has a wealth of knowledge of wines and can point you out to a selection worthy of your pallette. I cannot recommend this store highly enough!

Was welcomed as I entered, Very good selection of your favorite beer, wine and liquor. I would say Prices are very competitive, with easy to navigate isles, it can be busy with lines, but a lot of that is customer service related. Parking lot is big but extremely busy with lots of traffic and pedestrians, can be a little frustrating.Overall a good choice for your party /company accommodations.With knowledgeable staff, safe area a very good compliment of surrounding stores.

My favorite liquor store in the area and in my top 3 for Southern Massachusetts. Amazing selection, unbeatable prices and passionate employees. Their ONLY downfall is their hours. They close much earlier than most liquor stores so make sure and plan ahead or youll be left with nothing but the insanely overpriced and poorly stocked stores that I like to call bottom feeders because they know they can overcharge seeings they are the only ones still open. I would love to see Palumbos extend their hours so we can put the other blood sucking stores OUT OF BUSINESS.

These people obviously dont know how to store beer without it going bad(skunked). The 3 30 packs of bud light cans i purchased for a barbeque were all skunked despite the expiration date of August. The gentlemen i spoke to over the phone was ignorant and rude claiming they are not liable. Its very simple- you either keep the beer cold or warm until its sold. The only way beer gets skunked is due to having it refrigerated then warmed again and then refrigerated again. I will never purchase any beer from this location again. The store should have offered to replace all 3 30 packs but instead told me to contact Budweiser directly. Unacceptable

This was a big liquor store by recent standards. Not anymore. It will be interessting to see how Palumbos fares with the recent addition of bigger wine and liquor auper stores just up Rte 1 from there. The store is old and shows it. Selection is pretty good and prices are fair and sale prices are more than competitive. Staff offers to help, but no one in there, at least on the weekends, look like they are going to win any party planner or sommalier awards any time soon. its a good size old packy that people like to use to stock up at on their way to a Countryfest tailgate at Gillette.
