We visited the store today with an intention of deciding on a canister vacuum from either Miele or Sebo. The store staff, Derek, was extremely knowledgeable with all of the machines. It is very confusing with the different models and the extra parts, functions, etc. He explained everything clearly and let us try several models that we were considering purchasing. We ended up with a Sebo E3 because it serves the purpose for our house. It was an extremely pleasant experience to shop at Mr. Sweeper in Waltham and I would highly recommend anyone who is in search of the perfect vaccume clearer to check the store out.

After being reassured via phone call that there’d be no problem looking at my robovacs timely, I visited the store today and was told that not only was it likely not worth it to repair my Eufy robovac bc the cost of the parts would exceed the value of the vacuum (had replacement parts for $14.99 off of Eufy’s direct site), that it would take a minimum of 3 weeks before the vacuum could be looked at. At no point did the gentleman on the phone suggest a long wait time, and after explaining the issues I was having, that I had purchased the replacement part, etc., he indicated that his shop would gladly diagnose and fix the issue, for around $40. When I questioned why today’s info differed so drastically to the info provided on the phone, I was not given a response other than that they couldn’t allow me to jump the line over others. Today’s service man acted as if I was both a nuisance and not worth his time or money. I would not recommend this shop to any of my friends or family based on my experience today. Extremely disappointed and frustrated over wasted time and gas money.

The service at this Waltham location is impressive. I brought my 40 year old Singer sewing machine in for repairs on Thursday afternoon and was told I would receive a call with an estimate by the next day. The young man who wrote up my order was polite and professional. On Friday, I got a call with a very reasonable price considering how much work I knew would be involved to fix the problem. I was told the machine would be ready in a week. This employee was also very pleasant. Since I wasnt in a hurry for it, waiting just a week was no inconvenience. On Saturday afternoon I got a call from another pleasant gentleman telling me my machine was ready! I picked it up early Sunday afternoon and was helped by yet another helpful young man. I couldnt be more pleased with my experience and definitely recommend Mr. Sweeper as a reputable business with a knowledgable and professional staff.

After having been informed that the store was closed, I was told to leave our broken roomba vacuum cleaners (which I had bought new batteries for) outside the store. After dropping it off along with my contact info, I had not received any updates from them for 3 weeks so I decided to call the store. I was told they had been thrown out because they weren’t able to fix them, and had realized they had my contact info only after having thrown away my appliances. Would’ve liked to have been called and told and not have my stuff thrown out when I had just spent money on new batteries. This even leads me to believe they could’ve kept my roombas for spare parts. Please do not take your products to this store. They are not to be trusted.

I just had my 35 year old New Home sewing machine serviced after neglecting to do so for years. Rich and all the folks there were so kind and professional. I had my machine back in a week and it works as beautifully as it did when it was new.I use my machine every day so the quick turnaround and the very reasonable cost was much appreciated.We have always bought our vacuum cleaners from Mr. Sweeper so I am thrilled to find they also service sewing machines.I highly recommend Mr. Sweeper!

Awesome customer service! I found an ancient sewing machine and I brought it in to see if it had any hope. They explained how it worked to me, but unfortunatly it would cost more to repair it than it would to buy a modern sewing machine. I bought a new sewing machine, and I felt very comfortable with using it. This is a no-pressure and very friendly place. I highly recommend it!

I just bought a Miele C3 Dog & Cat vacuum from Mr. Sweeper. I am a repeat customer having purchased a lower end Miele vacuum 15 years ago. The owner of the store was extremely helpful and answered dozens of questions and helped me choose the right vacuum for me. The prices were the same as i was seeing on the internet. Rich was also very helpful. I have also used Mr. Sweeper for a couple servicing and they also did a great job (and quick) with that as well.

Took my Miele unit in to have a clog removed and do regular maintenance. ~$100 and the unit still has no suction, its clear it was never even tested after the repair as it was quite evident it was not working within a minute of use. also the HEPA filter in the front was still loose from when the sales rep uncliped it at drop off.It was nice they replaced a hose clip that was missing but the actual problem I brought the unit in for was never addressed.

My Eurika suddenly had a problem with suctioning. The day before I had had a bad experience at another vac repair place in Brighton. My experience at Mr. Sweeps was excellent. I spoke on the phone before going in w/Richard. He also helped me when I came to the store. He immediately identified the simple problem and it was fixed in less than 5 minutes. The customer service and friendliness couldnt be better. I would also trust them not to make a problem greater than it actually is and overcharge. I would definitely recommend them to a friend and go there again.

I love supporting small, local business and was happy to see Mr. Sweeper highly rated on Yelp. They didnt let me down. I received very personal care from all four people who worked there. They are highly knowledgable and attentive. They give you all the time and information you need to help you make a decision - without being at all pushy. When I finally picked my sweeper, I (of course) Googled it and found Mr. Sweepers price equal to the lowest I could find online. They also put it together for me right from the box - no easy task as I had done this myself with a past sweeper. I was so happy, I took my sewing machine in to let them give it a reasonably priced tune up. They are my small appliance people!!

I do most of my shopping online because, well, I hate shopping. However I would not go any place but Mr. Sweeper for repair or purchase of a sewing machine, vacuum, or rug shampooer. Rich was friendly, fair and very helpful in finding the right solution for me.

Last summer, after contacting Dyson, I brought my vacuum in to be serviced at Mr. Sweeper. I was told the problem was a clutch and that it wasnt covered under warranty. I thought that was odd but needed my vacuum so I told them to fix it. After repeated calls, I got my vacuum back about a month and $150. later. Well, once again, the clutch has gone out. I called Mr. Sweeper, told them the problem was back and asked what to do. I told them I didnt want to pay another $150. They suggested I call Dyson and talk with them. Dyson told me to bring it into their new service center in Marlboro. I called before I drove out there and Adrian told me he would look at it while I was there, let me know the problem and fix it right then and there if possible. Sure enough, it was the clutch. It IS covered by warranty and Adrian fixed it within a half hour; NO CHARGE.Shame on you Mr. Sweeper for charging me $150. for something that was covered under warranty. You got my money once but never again.

Mr. Sweeper has been repairing my Electrolux vacuum for years. always a good job. This time I went in to buy a new Electrolux, I asked one of the repair guys to help me decide which one to get, he seemed to really know what he was talking about. Very happy so far, Rugs have never been cleaner.

I went to the Waltham store with my daughter on Monday (7/30/2018) to buy her a new vacuum.Pedro was very polite and helpful so we closed the deal and I bought the one she liked. When we got home, my daughter suggested we look up the internet price. There was a considerable $$$ difference between what I paid and the internet price. I went back to the store on Wednesday (their policy is to equal or beat the best internet price). I showed them the internet pricing and they refunded the difference without any questions. If you are looking for a new vacuum or supplies, I very highly recommend this store, not only for the professional way they handled my situation, but for repairs and supplies I have purchased from them in the past.

I came here after I noticed that their prices for vacuums are the same as on Amazon but with the added benefit that you can see and test them. I had previously ordered an Electrolux from Amazon which I returned immediately because it was so disappointing.Further research into hoovers good for households with pets lead me to the Miele C3 Cat and Dog but I saw that Miele had made a special handle on the telescope stick which I was sure I would hate.So I contacted Miele to ask if they sold telescope sticks separately so that I could replace the C3 stick with a C1 or C2 stick (which come with normal handles). I got the unhelpful reply that the brush from the C3 wont fit on the stick from the other models.This is when I started to google for a vacuum shop nearby. I found Mr. Sweeper and went the next day.Not only did they have all the Miele hoovers they also let me test the suspicious handle which indeed turned out to hurt my wrist and hand. They let me exchange it with that from a different model.I now have the perfect vacuum: I have the C3 which is ideal for pets with a handle that doesnt hurt my hand. Never mind the C3 brush: I dont need it because we only have hardwood floors no carpets.I couldnt be happier. I highly recommend this shop. They know what they are doing and they will give you all the advice you need when purchasing a new hoover!

I quote his post from 5/17/2015 that was made in another group. I had a rather large BLACK man bring in a filthy Kirby G5 today with no bag in it. As so as it turned on it belched out carpet fresh all over me. I have screen shots of the owner Evan Rodgers Posts if anyone would like to see them.My review is based on Evan Rodgers statements, not on spending of my money with him or his service. And in Fact are a direct quote of his. A review of an organization doesnt have to be based on on money, or services. My review is based on EXPERIENCE, public media, and direct quotes from Evan Rogers (Owner). Racist remakes/ slanderous remarks toward his business and statements that came from him. I will do my due diligent to locate his Rather large Black customer and show him your statements that YOU post on Facebook. I am not a argumentative person, I asked a simple question. One he couldnt not answer: What is your reasoning for pointing out the gentlemans ethnic background? I personally assumed you had issues with African American’s doing business with you. It is quite a shame that in 2015 there are people that still segregate by race.

I brought my Oreck vacuum into the Moody St store in December. They never called me so I stopped by after a couple of weeks to check on my vacuum. The man asked me if they called to say it was ready and I said you never called me to tell me it needed a part either so I thought I would check the guy had a really lousy attitude. So I waited a couple more weeks and checked again, same attitude an no answer. Finally about 6 weeks or so later I went in and finally the woman who works there said they were still waiting for a part and that she was calling every week to check, but they STILL did not communicate with me what was going on. Finally I said I am taking it with me an I brought is to the Oreck shop in Arlington (which I should have done first but I thought shop small, shop locally. The gentleman at the Oreck store said that Mr Sweeper had put the vacuum back together wrong, no screws, screws in the wrong places and pinched wires which could have been stripped an caused a fire. I will NEVER have anything to do with this store again. There customer service is non-existent and rude.

They have always been incredibly helpful and courteous in every way from sewing machine repair including extra advice on the way old thread can mess up a machine and re-explaining things Im almost certain they explained the first time when I took my sewing machine back in because the bobbin seemed to be making messes on back, etc.
