Good Chinese food and they are opened until 2:30AM

This spot never disappoints. They serve fantastic dishes for fair prices, there is no waiting time even when the place is loaded.

Went for new years and they were quite busy as any Chinese restaurant should be on new years. They didnt have any one keeping track of the amount of people that were in there waiting and they werent telling anyone to wait outside. During the pandemic someone should be in more control over the amount of people waiting inside. The food was good but did take longer than they said it would.

Best fried orange tofu/bean curd I have ever had!I’ve been getting orange tofu for years and have had it from well over 15 different Chinese restaurants - they absolutely made it perfect. Very flavorful and crispy with fresh broccoli. Amazing price!

We used to order once a week but now its 1-2 times a month, cant afford it anymore.

Well for starters, I for one do not prefer fried beetles in my house rice but sadly that wasnt even the worst part. Asked to speak with the owner 3 days in a row and was turned away to only speak with the manager that found it amusing that he had just fed my family and I contaminated food. Im literally still in shock by the blatant disrespect and arrogance. If you enjoy bugs in your food, theyre cooked to perfection here at NEW DRAGON CHEF🤢 Oh and did I mention they refused to give me a refund?? They really have no human decency and its simply unreal. Beware!!

So glad I found a good cheap place to get Chinese food! It’s great! The food tastes good. The people were nice to me. I ordered online, and everything was ready when I arrived. Can’t complain at all! The only reason I don’t give them 5 stars is because it is cheap food.

YUM! The crab rangoons, gralic noodles, general gaos, pork fried rice, the boneless spare ribs were a little dry but we ordered very late so we were just happy to eat! The food got to us at 10:59 pm when when i ordered at 10:34 pm ET (yes they are open late!). The taste and quality of the food was why Id really go back. If Im ordering from there at a high traffic hour as any restaurant Id probably go and pick it up,.

A disgrace to be even to give food like that after a hour and half wait is a joke unbelievable.waiting on a refund most like a hour and a half with that two.In the end I had to pick up my Owen money Becose the driver wouldn’t be at least a hour haha typical

Enjoyed my meal.

They are okay. The rice was fresh and the chicken teryaki was good. I thought the chicken fingers were over battered, mushy, and not great. Also the scallion pancakes werent as good as other places. The chicken and pancakes were luke warm and the rice was still hot. I think they could improve their food if they listened to peoples responses to them.

I just recently moved to Waltham. I’ll tell you a trick I picked up to find good Chinese food in a new city. Google search “Chinese restaurants near me” and find one that has some good reviews on the food, and a bunch of bad reviews on the service. Was the lady that took my order rude? Very. But they delivered some awesome food in a timely manner at 12 o’clock at night. It’s a different culture I guess. And the dude that delivered it was pretty friendly.

Would not recommend. As I am finishing my plate of fried rice, I feel a piece of hair in my mouth. At the bottom of my food was two very long hairs. I am still disgusted. Wish I could post the pictures .

The food is ok at the best. They are not authentic chinese food you would expect in China. And the quality of them is very inconsistent, one day the dish is good, the other day it’s almost a different one, even though you order the same one.

We ordered delivery and it took about 20-30 minutes (15 minutes earlier than expected). Everything arrived hot and was delicious. I ordered the sesame chicken dinner combo with pork fried rice and an egg roll and my boyfriend got General Tsos chicken dinner combo with pork fried rice and crab rangoons. Very good portion size for an affordable price, and we had leftovers as well.

Given this place two chances and they ruined both. My vegetable lo mein was literally noodles and a few carrots. I also ordered sweet and sour chicken which came as chicken fingers soaked in sweet and sour sauce. It was soggy and not what I wanted. I called, not to yell or complain but to suggest putting descriptions, and THEY HUNG UP ON ME. Nope never getting my money again.

Good for what it is--cheap Chinese food thats open late. Great experience with appropriate expectations. Solid bang for the buck.

I normally order from here but this past experience was horrible. Their excuse was there was an issue with their car but they couldve have simply told me to give me a heads up. I waited two hours just to get a call from them saying that they werent bringing my food. The only thing the lady had to say was,Youll be first next time. Its already too late to order from any where. So thanks a lot for nothing.

Great food, not-to-bad service. I ordered over the phone and the lady taking my order was very rude and did not understand what I was saying. I got my food an hour later and did not tip. A couple days later, my card was overdrafted by over $600, and I am 90% sure it was because of this place. The only different place that had my card information.

I place an order they got it wrong so I called them and they told me that they were going to bring my appetizer that I forgot and they brought a small chicken wing in every single wing was raw Someone told me about this please so I decided to try it out I will never order from here again I wish I could post pictures

Food is fresh and excellent but the ladies at the counter are rude and if you pay with cash youd better count your change as almost always they round off in their benefit.

Asked extra duck sauce she was mad asked if forks were in bag she said yes. No forks no duck sauce I will neve go back food was awful

Lady behind the counter made a mistake, yelled at me from across the street so I could be charged another 58 cents on my debit card. After I refused to let her void the first transaction and take more money from me, she started mumbled things in a language she clearly knew I didnt understand. On top of that, she threw my receipt.

All the meat here tastes terrible, I would only suggest the lo mein or another restaurant. The rudest staff ever!

Located in Walthams South Side, right on Moody Street is this Chinese restaurant. My experience there was far from great and the only redeeming factors were the fact that they were open late, werent expensive and were able to churn out my order in just a few minutes while I waited outside.The guy behind the counter was pretty friendly and their drinks were cold but with that said, this food just straight up sucks. The egg roll was greasy and I took one bite, which turned out to be one too many. It was bland and just not good. Didnt seem all that fresh either.My orange chicken was greasy and the sauce had this burnt taste and oily texture. I know that its far from being a great dish, but this was one of the worst ones Ive had. This is yet another mediocre Chinese food restaurant in Waltham. That being said, its still better than the highly questionable Tiki House which is a few doors down and if youre drunk and in need of something to sober your ass up, just play it safe and stick to the classics. They wont be great, but you wont get sick and it wont run you too much either.

One of the worst places I have ever ordered from. From the very start it was terrible it took about 10 minutes to take my order. I was told 20-30 minutes...after the 20-30 minutes they called and asked for my address. At that point i was told 15 minutes....After 30 more minutes i called and was told that the driver had car issues and it was going to be another 30 minutes. I was told the food was just made, then i was told the food was with the driver...When i said that i want a discount or free food they said they already charged my card and there is nothing they could do unless i dont want the food. Which is clearly a lie. Just overall very bad service. Will never do business with this place again.

Only 2/3 of us received fortunes in our cookies. Those of us who did get a fortune cookie were also presented an advertisement on the back 😡
