Very nice local store located in a beautiful area with great avocados and nice employees. 10/10

This is a small shop with some typical Latin American foods. Very limited selection of produce and frozen stuff. And not much for food and baking. I guess it serves the local population well, but I am from out of town and was looking for items for real cooking. Im sure there are other stores in Waltham that would suit my needs better.

A 500g bag of the yerba mate that Argentinians prefer is $5.50 ...its in the aisle to the right as you enter the store, on the top shelf. This is also a store well stocked with spices. Grab an ice cold Salutas mineral water on your way out if you can deal with a crimped cap.

Reasonable selection of Latin foods that you cant get elsewhere. Prices on certain items are *very* good; for example, a pound of guajillo chiles is about $7—that runs you $78 at Whole Foods (or $18 on Amazon). Im particularly a fan of their yerba mate selection, both for variety and price.

It’s small but it has a lot of items to can’t get everywhere like purple corn
