I’ve been going to Town bagel Steve for over 20 years. This is the first time I went to the Wantagh location. The person who helped us at 2:30 on Wednesday, September 22 was not nice and did not have good customer service. He had an attitude. I asked for a receipt no receipt. Everything was a problem. This location is nothing like the Plainview location where they’re always nice and accommodating! I will not be returning.

Very bad customer service. The older lady with all the make up is the worst . I been going there for about month almost everyday and this morning was my last time . Never again the staff who refused to tell her name deliberately messed up my food . She always has an attitude everytime I walk in. I never had a problem until she made my food. Besides no one ever says good morning back or smiles, with the exception of another lady who always has an evil smirk on her face. When asked to speak with a manager she refused and said I will handle it. She knew what co worker did and tried to cover for her .Some people are just evil for reason and shouldnt be allowed to work with the public

The bagels are not good here but the muffins are good and they have a good selection

Everything I have ever ordered through them is fresh. I love the fact that they are always making bagels throughout the day, So whatever time you go there most likely you’ll get a hot bagel. Or if there’s nothing hot, I ask for a hot bagel.. the most I had to wait was 3 to 4 minutes and something HOT was coming out of that oven! They really took Covid Seriously, and adapting to the new way of serving pretty quick. They do have several locations for me Wantagh is closest. But they do have one in Bellmore and another in Massapequa. I highly recommend them.

Staff is very unprofessional. I arrived to pickup two deliveries & stood waiting for 5 minutes, not one employee greeted me or asked to help me. Staff needs to treat EVERY person who comes through the door as a valued customer. Yes delivery drivers are customers too.

The bagels at Town are some of the best around. The service is not as speedy as it should be and not everyone is as friendly as they should be, thus the 4 instead of 5, but the quality of the bagels is excellent, with fluffy interiors and crispy exteriors. Flavored cream cheeses are excellent here, I judge everyones lox spread and scallion spread against theirs.

$8.68 for a bec$4.00 for a bagelI’ll drive down the block and spend half.

Great food, great employees, place is always clean food always fresh a bit on the pricey side, but you definitely know youre getting your moneys worth little bit of an annoyance of parking in the front but most of the times the back parking lot very easy to find a spot. Highly recommend level if you ever in the area if you are in the area Im sure you definitely know about this place thanks

Just waited 20 minutes for a breakfast sandwich to find out the order was never put in. I understand being busy but incompetence is a different story. L&E Bagels on Jerusalem Ave has better costumer service.

Great.I usually order my meal online and it’s normally ready by the time I get there. In the mornings when you have very little time, that is the best thing to do. I encourage everyone to try that method!

Staff could careless. I stood there for several mins while they had personal conversations and didnt bother to ask what I needed. Not busy like it used to be, pandemic aside I completely think I know why. Customer service terrible. 10 people not really doing anything 🙄

They make overpriced sandwiches and the service is HORRENDOUS!!! The staff and the angry looking guy who looks like the owner are all oblivious to their customers. Go to L&E Bagels around the corner, they have good food and the lady behind the counter is very nice.

This place has the best bagels! I always try to come to this place over anywhere else for a bacon egg and cheese. It is a little more expensive for their bec’s but they put more eggs cheese and bacon than other places so the cost is worth it. It also comes with a coffee or juice as well. This is my favorite bagel place and it is the best out of all the town bagel locations. Their frequent big lines are justified!

Worst experience ever! Why? At 2pm after getting some quick lunch with my family they decided to clean the floors with bleach or ammonia. Within minutes my family and I were nauseous and dizzy from the fumes. We were forced to leave fast. The place had about a dozen people inside eating or waiting in line. Who dumps toxic chemicals in an eating establishment with food while there are people inside? When my wife went to complain and find out whats going on the staff seemed confused and barely apologized. I am now sitting in my car lightheaded and sick along with my two toddlers. This place will never earn my business again. My hope is the owner may one day read this and change obvious business practice for customers in the future. Its common sense. Do not pour chemicals with fumes in a place that serves food while people are eating.On top of it the food was horrible. I had the chicken sandwich and it tasted like jello chicken. Gooey with every bite. Not crisp fresh chicken. Probably processed. Biggest mistake ever eating here. I threw everything away after maybe 4 bites and my family did not each much either. Garbage.

Prices are very high for an egg sandwich.

Great tuna salad

Classic Long Island bagel shop. Great variety. Staff is great and keeps the guests moving. They have great breakfast sandwiches and the regular fixings for lunch with a bagel. Tuna salad is great. Plenty of parking in front and rear

I don’t understand how a plain bagel/ roll is $8 that contains 1 egg and bacon and a little juice the size of my palm. Bagel Cafe on Jerusalem in Bellmore $5 for all of what I got at town bagel today. Very overpriced and staff has the worst attitude problem I’ve ever encountered.

I always come to this place as they have the best bagels in Wantagh but today I saw the store manager and one of the staff take care of a customer that has special needs like he was their own family member. They are 2 Special and beautiful people that makes the world a better place. Thank you both.

Fresh food, salmon, salads & oh yeah Bagels

Ordered 4 egg sandwiches in different variations. They were dry, the bacon lil too well done for me and the cheese tasted life craft not a deli cheese. The bagels and rolls were as always fresh and warm. Ill stick to deli for egg sandwiches but will continue to go to town bagel for bagels.

Try to avoid this location, always a line because of terrible workers that can’t speak or understand English, burnt bagels to boot

Woman walks in with no mask sneezing. Nobody stopped her. Asked for manager and was ignored. If that’s how they handle customer safety imagine how bad their food safety practices must be.

I used to love this place! The line gets really long and it’s sometimes due to worker not paying attention to what’s going on. Good bagels though.

Amazing egg sandwiches(when they get them right) and delicious bagels! I have yet to have a bagel from there that hasnt been warm and fresh, sometimes even hot!! Only downside, super expensive; so its def a tradeoff

They sent the completely wrong order, including items I am allergic to, tried to blame the delivery person even though the receipt was right but food in bag was wrong. Offered to bring it to me since I am close, then changed their mind and refused to do anything about it. I will never go to this or any Town Bagel ever again.

Stopped in this morning for breakfast. I ordered a BLT w/ mayo and a toasted bagel with cream cheese (easy order). They didnt let me know that they are vegan only, so I found out the hard way that there is no real bacon. They also forgot the mayo. They also forgot to toast my bagel. How do you mess up that order??There were at least 15 people behind the counter talking to each other an nobody asked if I needed help until they felt that it was an appropriate time for them.I will not be back.

Great quality bagels... I thought I had to go to queens for this kind of bagel. Danny the owner provided a buffet spread for an event I had last Saturday and could not of made me happier. Quality place and I have tried many other nearby places to compare and Town bagel is the best hands down!

I just wanted a bec without a drink but thats not an option. I also ordered a hash brown which wasnt very good either. The sandwich was good but I dont drink any of the choices they forced me to pick so I wont be going back.

Stopped in this morning for a bagel and quickly remembered why I stopped going to Town Bagel. I ordered a bagel with vegetable cream cheese and a Bai water. My total was $7.65! The bagel by itself was over $4. I quickly remembered how we used to stop in before games every week and order the same thing and every week the price was different. I will not be going back there again and no matter how convenient it is. There are many other better bagel places that dont over charge. The staff isnt even friendly and my bagel was burnt on the bottom.

The bagels are decent and the breakfast sandwiches are good. My issue is the organization, this place is crazy busy Early in the morning especially on weekends and some of the staff gets overwhelmed. I had to start checking my order thoroughly because they kept making mistakes.Edit: i didnt check my order which was my mistake. I asked for a sausage egg and cheese on a bagel...I got home looked at my sandwich it was missing the sausage.

All bagel lines on long island are always crazy in the mornings and on the weekends but I feel that this place is worth the wait and theyre not rude. Bagels are fresh and the egg sandwiches are where its at.

My go to bagel stop, but thats mostly due to its convenience and location. Decent parking, good food but you pay a little more than your average bagel place. They also love to nickel and dime you for whatever condiments you want to add to your bagel sandwich.

Seriously, the best bagels Ive found in Northern Wantagh... Dont go anywhere else. Plus, a dozen bagels gets you 6 more for free or a free half pound of cream cheese.

Used to better. Cheaper ingredients. Just went there yesterday and was served processed Chicken. Potato Salad not as good as it used to be and was warm. Sorry, time for a new venue.

Half the time I go here my order is wrong. You ask for toasted with cream cheese and just as likely it wont be toasted. The workers there think theyll remember your order but never do.Today I asked for two ices coffees both light and sweet. I got one black and one with French Vanilla creamer.

Food is good, nothing special. Longest lines. After having my order forgotten a couple of times, and spending over 20 minutes between waiting in line and getting my food, its time to find a new regular spot for bagels and breakfast.

They had alot of options for food, it dosent seem like it has anything that sets it apart from any other bagel store. However when you want a good bagel quick they have just what you need.

Very annoyed went today ordered a soup and mini bagel with butter. Went to register they charged me $4.00 for the butter on my MINI BAGEL. I asked at register are u sure 4 FOR butter he I believe was the manager said yes..

Honestly the worst chopped salad I’ve ever had and it cost $11.26. It’s pretty hard to fk up a salad but it was literally all lettuce. Barely any toppings. The guy making it was about to use old ingredients from the night before that looked like it had been left out/ brown until I asked for fresh ingredients. I also got avocado on it which costs extra and there was 4 thin slices. Not worth the money at all. They don’t care about the customer being satisfied only them making money.

Terrible service. Their system at the register is very unorganized, it’s like a free for all. I ordered online, arrived 10 minutes after and they just started preparing my order when I got there. They are also extremely overpriced, they charged me $3 more for the same sandwich I get elsewhere.

Only 3 stars because the help and owner are the most unfriendly people I have come across. A smile or thank you is a rarity from the girls and non existent from the guys. If you dont like working there then dont and if you hate the business then sell it. To bad, because the bagels are very good.

Pros and cons..... Pros: Hands down the best bagel on Long Island, almost always fresh and crispy. Cons: Some of the worst coffee on Long Island. There hot coffee tastes like watered down trash. Also, I suppose wantagh is a hot-spot for napkin thieves. They hide their napkins behind the counter and you have to beg for them. Fix your coffee and put out some cheap paper napkins please

Disgusting...just got a bec from here and the eggs were completely raw slime and all never getting a bacon, egg, and cheese from them again. i was a loyal costumer too. very disappointed... are your employs not trained? its not to hard of an order...im better off making my own then giving u people 7$ for raw eggs on a soggy bagel.

Got 2 bagels today with my wife, one with butter the other wi th cream cheese the problem was you couldn’t find the butter or cream cheese. I been going there for a long time but the prices are rising and everything else is getting smaller.
