I really love the great meat and seafood selection. I usually get seafood from Alex in the seafood counter 3 times a week. He is so kind an helpful.

My wife recently passed away and I am not a cook. Iavarone has become my personal chef. I buy their prepared food and everything is delicious and fairly priced.

Called them up on a Wednesday for a 40 person catering order for that coming Sunday. The ordering process was simple, quick, and done right over the phone. Everyone at my event raved over the food. I got compliments from everyone!! They included everything you needed from napkins, utensils, plates, racks and sternos to their amazing food, rolls, bread and butter.I would definitely use them again in the future for any event I have.

Ivarrones has simply the best butcher/meat/poultry section of any market is a 20 mile radius. We have never gotten a bad product from them in the three years weve been going there. Charlie the butcher is outstanding and all the people behind the counter cant do enough for you. If you ask they pound the chicken cutlets to paper thin. The steaks and burgers are superb. No other market comes close. Try them and youll be a loyal customer.

Overall, I really enjoy shopping at this location, good service, friendly staff, honest pricing, clean and comfortable.

My sister has been buying from them for years and we always enjoyed everything she bought from Iavarone Brothers! Now she moved out of state but when she visits i have to get her favorites for her. I love the food from there also but far away so i only go once in awhile. I really wish they would move out near me in suffolk county! So much better than Uncle Giuseppes and Lombardis! Please open stores out east.

Put in a Christmas order WAY too late, and they still got the job done...Amazing service! had several conversations with them about the order during a peak ordering season before the holiday. They were able to deliver the order way before expected, which allowed for a wonderful Christmas surprise for my mom! Definitely recommend.

The absolute best market on Earth. Period. Youll never find a more better-stocked deli. More authentic foods. Cheeses. Olives. Fruits and vegetables. Catering. They do it all. And the staff is fantastic. You cant go there expecting to buy just one thing. Youll ALWAYS end up getting more! That is the hallmark of a truly great Italian market.

One word, Quality! These guys have been around for years and have a huge selection of Quality food. Sure you come out spending at least $40 but its worth every penny. I buy from every department, except seafood because my wife cant stand the smell lol. If you need catering, they have a huge menu to choose from and the food is great and, again, Quality. Im a huge fan and so is my family and friends. Thanks guys for a great experience!

Todays trip was for some of their salads, they are packed into their containers (in a good way), they are not skimpy. For new years eve, we got a great selection of heat and eat foods. The salmon with the dijon crust was incredible. Their food is consistently excellent, its not inexpensive but its always excellent. This includes their selections of pastas, fruit and vegetables, their baked goods, the sushi, their meats and fish, cheeses, just everything is consistently excellent. I have been spoiled, yum

The prices are expensive but you don’t want he “better” food well then go to stop and shop get GMO foods and eat that way..... great foods and huge selection just all Italian good for the most part which is a great thing, oh and they have a very good bakery, and meat market ... pretty much any Italian product you can think of they will have it or get it... I love Iavarone Brothers. There food is always fresh, great customer service & now I can use there card for points at all locations. Thank you for all you have done with the COVID situation. The locations I went to had lines but I didnt wait to long & I was even able to take gloves by the door when needed.

This is a really nice upscale grocery store. They carry anything you could want. The prepared foods are outstanding. Never figured that heat and serve could actually be this good. Things are packaged nice and the staff is very helpful in providing recommendations. Parking is generally not a problem. Highly recommended.

Quality food, seafood, produce & Cold Cuts

Came in today looking for my balsamic chicken, blackened shrimp, crab cake, and as I walked towards the meat deli I saw a sign that you had cow feet and chicken feet. Great job Charlie. Thanks for helping me find them. This was a great find.

This is a nice grocery store which specifically has gourmet and Italian cuisine. It’s nice but it’s small. That’s not necessarily a strike against it but there are a number of things that I would have liked to see being sold here which aren’t sold here. When I want to shop for the style of food I usually will go to Uncle Guisseppes.

I am very disappointed in the service at your fish counter. I am a long time customer. I came in for produce and fish. I went to the counter to ask for oysters. I was yelled at by the server that he’s too busy and come back maybe in 20 minutes or so and see if they’re available. He then turned around and started serving other customers. I did not want to wait when he was actively serving other customers. He then started yelling at me and discussing me with the other customers. I understand being busy but there is no reason to be rude to me. I did not buy any fish and frankly almost left my whole cart. I spent a lot of money and did not get what I came for. I won’t be buying anything from them for a while because I was very upset when I left. Had the server talked to me instead of acting so inappropriately, I would have come back.

I showed up 10 minutes before closing and as the guys shutting the door in my face I asked if I could buy one little thing and that I know what I want. He said were closed already and shut door in my face. King Kullen got my business instead. 7:00 pm close. Thats early. I recommend going to King Kullen or Stop and Shop for better hours and nicer service.

Great deli food selection. Chicken meatballs are esp. yummy. Fresh baked bread! Their bakery cookies are quite good. Great meats & selection. Good service always. I really appreciate this place.

Besides the parking lot being hectic, this place is freakin awesome! YOU HAVE TO GET THE PROSUITIO BREAD!!! Everything in this place is fresh from the fruit to the hot food to sushi to the bakery. Isles are alittle tight but if you get there early your good.

Clean. Friendly staff. Tried the pre made buffalo wings they were good and crispd up nicely in the broiler. The boneless bourbon wings were chewy and the sauce was.. Eh. Also got spin dip which was good. Havent tried the keesh and chicken pot pie yet. Will Try to update.Update chicken pot was delicious as well as the raspberry crumb cake.

We used Iavarone to cater our wedding this past weekend. It was such a pleasure to work with them in the planning process, they made everything easy for us, and really catered to our every need (they even supplied a great server company!). The cocktail hour food, dinner food and dessert foods were all outstanding - we got so many compliments from our guests. This was my last stop after a long day of shopping. When I asked where the restroom was I was ignored. After asking again a worker snapped No public bathrooms!. I left my cart and went to North Shore Farms instead. Friendlier staff, public bathroom and better prices!

I would give it 5 stars if the parking was better. If you go, go early when the parking is near empty. Great place to get just about anything.

Just had the most amazing catered Thanksgiving feast. I chose the raw turkey option and along with all the side dishes cooking had the wonderful scents throughout! Yum

The Wantagh location deli department cannot cut mortadella and other Italian cold cuts properly. Dont waste your money! Why bother to sell Italian cold cuts if you dont have a clue? And Im talking about all the guys that work there not just one.

Their prices are ridiculous, if you want to charge $6.49 a pound chicken cutlets you should slice and pound them. They say no you have to pay $6.99 a pound for that convenience. Then you half to wait forever to speak with customer service and the guy behind meat counter is rude.Go to Primavera they have the same chicken for $4.99 a pound and they do everything for you, and are nice about it.

The guys behind the butcher counter are the best, especially Manny, always extremely helpful and friendly!

Best fresh mozz!! My favorite place to go when I need food to entertain with. Ingredients from this place make delicious meals. Fresh pasta, freshest produce, great frozen pizza dough, great dessert selection and beautiful flowers. Nothing negative to say about this gem.

I cannot say enough great things about Iavarone Brothers (Wantagh location). Im not one to normally post reviews anywhere, but I cant help it with them. Besides having the freshest, most perfectly prepared food, the experience at the store - keeps me coming back even more! Every single person that I have ever asked for help from, has always gone above and beyond to make sure I got everything I needed - and even made suggestions that lead me to even more mouth-watering delectable discoveries that keep me coming back through those doors over and over again. With all their prepared meals that leave very little work to be done once I get home - Iavarone Brothers makes me look reallllllly good to my friends and family every time I have guests over - even just for some appetizers or full blown meals. I wish could take all the credit for the deliciousness, but I cant. The guys in the deli depart, fish market, girls in the bakery and on the front end... they got it going on! They are doing something right and I just needed to share! Keep up the awesome work guys!

Corner store butcher/grocery shop. Picked up some Seabass and it was simply amazing. They ran through the instructions on how to grill them to come out perfectly. Dinner was amazing and the family loved it.

Iavarones has all the things you need, that other stores dont have, everything from demiglace to truffle butter. The deli is excellent/large selection; the butcher will make any meat mix you want/ground lamb; great bread at the bakery/still warm.
