They charged 69 dollars to look at AC. I was good with that. They wanted 1500 dollars to replace a bad blower motor. 800 for the part and 700 for labor. Took me 15 minutes to remove it and another twenty to install a brand new factory part that I got off of Amazon. I paid 606 for the new ECM motor with controller. Bend over, let Pruett do it!

A few weeks ago the tech came out and told us we were low on refrigerant in the ac unit. The tech also advised that the condenser needed to be replaced as well as everything in it.(never offered to repairThe tech also gave a price about $5294Well I had a second opinion because the unit were in great conditions...Well long story short I had another company come out and tell me that I had a small leak that could be repaired and didn’t have to be replaced. This tech actually opened the outside unit and found the issue. His work was very thorough.The unit was able to be repaired and air is working just fine... I really wished you all would have tried a little harder to diagnose the issue than to say it needed to be replaced when it didn’t need to.

I was extremely impressed with Pruetts maintenance tech that came to my home today. Jeremy Clark conducted himself with a high level of courtesy, friendliness, professionalism, knowledge of equipment and customer service. I will definitely request him, and only him, to perform service and maintenance on my HVAC unit in the future.

Jeremy explained the issues my AC was having very succinctly and fixed a wire that had melted due to errors caused by the original installation. I feel I know more about how my AC works and who to call if something goes wrong again.

Out of all the HVAC companies in the area, Pruett was able to provide me the best price for top shelf Carrier unit. All the technicians were very friendly and polite. They got the job done in 122F attic, it was hell in there but they didnt stop working. Everything was professionally done and they even fixed all the air leaks from previous company that installed system 10 years ago. They did great job with making sure everything outside and inside looks presentable and professional. Now with their warranty and manufacturer warranty for brand new unit I dont have to worry about expensive fixes for next few years. Im happy that I got great unit for affordable price and professional services. My neighbor have been using them for years and always were happy with their service. This is a great company. They came out within a few hours of me calling them. My HVAC wasnt working and it looked like no power was coming to my thermostat. Adam figured out what part was needed, drove all the way to Macon to pick it up then came back and installed it. Now it works perfectly!

Realized the air was dead on Sunday afternoon about 4:15, only after having heated the oven to 450. Called Pruett Air. Technician called me quickly and was at the house by 5. He completed his work by 6. The house was cool before bedtime. Thank you, Pruett AC. Its been so hot lately and we were afraid we would have to wait until Monday.

I gave Pruett three stars because they had a quick response to my phone call and had a technician out to my house in 30 minutes. One room in our house had very poor air flow and got hot if the door was closed. We saw in the attic that the ducting to that room was unnecessarily long and bent and it would be commonsense to shorten and straighten it. The technician looked at the ducting we were talking about, said it was fine and shortening or straightening it would not make a difference. He told us the best we could do was keep the door open and turn the ceiling fan on. He charged us $70 and left. My husband figured out how to fix the ducting from YouTube and now the room gets a lot of airflow and stays cool even with the door closed. The technician who came to our house was not helpful.

I reached out multiple times after initial inspection for quotes on a new packaged HVAC. I used their contact page and called to leave a message. No follow-up by e-mail or phone.

I phoned several air-conditioning companies this morning. . Pruett A/C Customer service representative was very pleasant to speak with and quoted a service fee I felt was reasonable. Two hours after the initial phone call I Was contacted that the driver was presently being dispatch to my home. He explained what he was going to do where he would want to start and that he would give me up-to-date information. As with the invoice he was very descriptive . I have been a employee of Pruett Air Conditioning twice. I was never late, didnt miss a day, and not one write up during my employment. They have wrongly FIRED me two times. This time on Christmas week so I wouldnt receive my Christmas bonus and holiday pay I had already worked for and earned. Every employee of Pruett is aware of this. I was literally fired 1 hour before bonuses were gave out. TWO DAYS BEFORE CHRISTMAS. Smh. Now there saying I quit that morning in fear of having to pay unemployment for the first time. Wow. Called Pruett to take a look at our condenser. They got me on the schedule same day. The tech was professional and courteous. It turned out the bearings on the fan motor were bad. He called to make sure it was under warranty which it was. Set up appointment for my day off to replace the fan motor. Tech showed up on time and job was done less than an hour. My 5 yr old system stopped working yesterday. I didn’t know who to call but recalled my daughter had called the “We Care pink van” company out of Warner Robins when her unit stopped working and they told her to replace the unit and don’t let anyone “talk you into repairing it” She then called Pruett and they repaired her unit for FAR less than what the “caring company” wanted to replace their system.So, we contacted Pruett. They had a very nice service man to my house in about two hours and we live in a rural area. He diagnosed the problem and had it going. They replaced a part and had us going in no time. Highly recommend them!

Adam was our technician who did the annual maintenance on our system. He was prompt and courteous. Pruett has never failed us. We highly recommend them.

Price for checkup of two units was reasonable but i had to ask to have the coils cleaned as I saw on the advertised included items. No uniform panels were removed to do this as I have seen others do and they had not brought a spray bottle for solvent. There are numerous things listed for this tuneup and I think I got the most important ones but not as thorough as advertised. Also no specific appointment time was given, just a 5 hr window. This is impractical . No booties were used coming in and out and attic insulation was tracked inside the house. They are competent but not paying attention to details.

Condenser fan went out, Garrett showed up promptly and was very thorough in his diagnosis of the unit and his repair work was top-notch. Extremely professional. I am usually very critical of repair services, as I usually do my own work. However, I was very impressed. Garrett youre the man. Yesterday, I noticed my air conditioning unit was running but no air was coming out of the vents. I called Pruett and they sent Josh L. out immediately. Josh came in and noticed right away that our unit was frozen solid. We waited for the ice to melt and he came back out today. He was thinking the issue may be one of three things. The coil, filter or the refrigerant. We were both hoping is was not the refrigerant. Luckily, he found it was only our filter. I had just changed the old filter, which was filthy. He adjusted my air and everything was working great again. He advised me to remember to change my filters often so I wont have this issue again. I then had a couple additional questions for him concerning other vents in the home and he was more than happy to answer those for me. Josh L. was extremely professional and knowledgeable. I have a 5 year old Lennox that has given a lot of problems. I have had several companies to come to repair the heat pump. Most have had limited knowledge of a Lennox unit. I had problems with my heat strips not coming on and our house temperature would drop down 5 degrees. I called Pruett and the manager promised me that if they could not fix the problem the visit would be free. He sent his best technician and an hour later it was fixed. He was very thorough and worth every penny.

Weve used Pruett since 2002 and have had excellent service. Their technicians are courteous and knowledgeable and their prices are comparable to other service providers in the area. Yes, their units arent cheap, but they carry top of the line products. Cant expect to buy a Carrier for the price of a Rheem. We will continue to use Pruett and would recommend them to anyone looking for quality products and good customer service.

I was charged 100$ for a 1.5lbs of r410a thats a 90% mark up. You can purchase it for 10$ a pound. Plus the 69$ service fee. Im ok with the service fee. The big mark up r410a is ridiculous. I know I work in the Refrigeration business. But I was happy with the level of service.

This is the absolute best hvac company in middle Georgia. Their response is great, office staff shows great professionalism and are so nice to speak with. I have been without heat for past 7 days. Having just moved here, I took advice of others and called in to their hvac guys. Well after $200., parts that would take 5+ days, I still had no heat. My son has always used Pruett, 2 new systems installed etc.. so he called Pruett and they were here by mid day, diagnosed problem, ordered part for tomorrow. The other hvac didn’t even have the problem correctly diagnosed!!! Please do not call anyone but Pruett, they are so good and really care about their customers!!

Have used Pruitt for many years. They have always provided prompt courteous and professional service.My only concern is that you cannot use your Carrier Visa for repairs to your system unless you reach a certain amount. That was not explained when Pruitt signed me up for it.

The employees are always so great. My repair only took a few minutes and my AC was back to its cooling self again.

The guys at Pruett do excellent work. They diagnos the problem and give you options for a solution. They have always been courteous and mindful not to leave a mess after their work is complete. We were very pleased with our service! Our motor had burned out on our 14 year old Rheem. The motor was able to be replaced quickly (within an hour)! They show up when they tell you to expect them, are friendly, and answer all your questions!
