Nick at Bicycle Service Center is a wealth of knowledge and does an exceptional job. He cares very much about the quality of his work and this passion shows with results. I recently rode the Six Gap Century in Dahlonega, GA, which features some very steep climbs and fast, zigzagging descents. A month prior, I asked Nick to give my bike a tune-up and change the tires. The work was done in less than two weeks, and that gave me time to give the bike a few hard test efforts to ensure everything felt good and worked under tension over time. Nicks tune-up made the bike feel like a dream. Come the day of the race, my bike devoured the descents, the high speeds (exceeding 45 mph), the tight turns, the climbs, it was completely solid with no vibration whatsoever. Another rider talked to me after one particularly steep descent saying that his bike vibrates when his speed exceeds 30 mph. The comment gave me a new appreciation for the high level of work that Nick puts into the bikes he services. I highly recommend visiting his establishment. Your bike will thank you.
Excellent service. We are a family of 5 that enjoy leisurely neighborhood and occasional light trail riding. Although its seems that Nick works on bikes of any level, most of our bikes are low to mid tier (Academy type) quality that sometimes need repair sooner than I think they should. Nick has worked on 4 of our bikes over the last year+ and they always ride great when hes finished. Shifter cable repair, brake adjustment, replaced fork on 20 y/o Marin, rear hub/bearing on 2 Academy bikes, custom kickstand for a Ghost. His prices are fair and he doesnt try to do more than what the bike needs...just what it takes to keep us pedaling and having fun!
Have you ever visited a business and the first person you talked to knew exactly what they were doing and didn’t BS you? Well, that is Nick at Bicycle Service Center! I had some spoke issues on my Cannondale and he was able to correct it the very next day! That’s amazing, considering how difficult that is during the Pandemic. I will not go to any other LBS in the area. This place is my go-to! He also gave me very sound advice about certain maintenance I need to do. Thanks again, Nick!
Bicycle service center is a small operation that specializes in bike repair. Its staffed by one very efficient gentleman named Nick. He really cares about quality of experience, and the quality of the products. Its the kind of place where you can get a general estimate, leave your bike, have it repaired, and you will never pay even close to the amount that the bike is worth just to have it fixed, because the owner had the foresight to purchase the high demand parts that have been so difficult to find for a reasonable price, before 2020 caused shortages, and he keeps his clients informed about the honest circumstances of the repair. He is fast, reasonable, competent, and he cares about his customers. He works on everything from high end racing bikes to cheap single speed cruisers, and puts an equal amount of consideration into all of his customers.
Owner was great and knowledgeable. Needed my tire repaired and seat replaced. Got it ready for me in around two days, called me to let me know it was ready for pick up.
Unlike some other elitist bike shops in the area, Nick will not turn his nose up at any bike you bring to him to service or build up. He is extremely experienced and is a treasure trove of knowledge on vintage and modern bikes. He genuinely wants to do the best job possible and if he cant do it right, he wont do it! He doesnt do unnecessary repairs or sell you parts you dont need. He has serviced and completed builds for numerous bikes of ours and we are completely satisfied with his work. Highly recommended!- Kevin T
Owner was very helpful and quick fixing my sons bike
Called the shop to see about getting my almost 30 year old Huffy 10 speed expedition restored. Bike needed quite a bit of stuff. Nick took the time to go over my needs then recommend the best parts for my ride. A new seat, new pedals, handle grips, chain, excellent Kenda tires and more. The bike rides better then when it was new. All for a reasonable price, professional, quality with a smile. Most certainly will be back.
Nick, the owner, is full of advice, knowledge, and know how. I went here, on the suggestion of one of my cycling buddies, and Im glad I found his place ! Ill surely be paying him more visits for care of my bike !
Owner has been extremely short tempered the last several times Ive stopped in to see about parts/bikes. Granted I was primarily looking for older/used equipment for various projects. Its a pity that his attitude isnt better as Id prefer to support local businesses, but its back to the Bay and online. Youd think he would be at minimum somewhat happy to have a customer willing to relieve him of junk/used parts/bikes. Anyway, will do what I always do in those situations - pray for him and keep on driving to another bike shop (or go online).
I’m so glad I brought my bike here to get it serviced and the tires fixed. Excellent service! He spent time looking at my bike and made sure it was fit to where I was comfortable riding it. Not over priced and will answer all your questions you have. Very professional and knowledgeable. He was so helpful! I will definitely go back again with any help I need with my bicycle. Highly recommend!
Has what you need for your bike. Huge selection of parts. All sales are final so make sure you have what you need.
Called to ask about getting replacement parts for my bicycle, was asked to hold and had to listen to loud music and background noise. When the male returned he told me I had two seconds to state what I wanted. This was the most unprofessional person I have spoken with over the phone. I would highly recommend avoiding this place at all costs. I had to give them one star to rate, but if possible I would give them five garbage cans, since that is the way they treat potential customers.
The service and selection was great. The owner is very friendly. I would definitely recommend for your bike needs.
Owner had my bike repaired and ready to ride in a couple of hours. Great place to take care of your bicycle repair needs.
Nick was very helpful and open to answering all my questions. When I had a medical condition arise, he expedited my needed service to get me out of a scheduling jam. Friendly, very knowledgable, professional and fair pricing all describe this business to a T! I would HIGHLY recommend this business.
Personable customer service and excellent bicycle repair at a very affordable price! My go-to place for any bicycle problems. For example, Nick answered his phone before stated business hours and opened early so I could drop off a bike for repair before leaving town.
Found a bike in trash in need of a little TLC and about $35 in repairs as it turned out. Wouldve been less if I hadnt asked for a cosmetic upgrade. Gentleman went above and beyond for what some wouldve tossed aside. Our world could use a few more like this guy. One of the best secrets in WR. Made a little boy very happy.
Great work, very reasonable prices, quick service and a small town feel. I will definitely be back!
Great place. Knowledgeable owner
This is a small bike shop owned by a guy who really cares about customers. Nick does an outstanding job on repairs at a fair price. Nothing is done half way, he wont let a bike leave his shop if it isnt 100% safe.
Nick is fantastic. Great service
I gotta tell ya these guys are great. I had a bent wheel, 29in, I called to see if they sold wheels cause it was bent bad. They told me to bring it in before you get another one. They straightened the wheel better than it was from factory. I Highly recommend these guys.
I had my bike serviced in June before doing a Triathlon in New Jersey. I completed another Triathlon in Georgia this past Saturday. Nick had recommended special wheeles and tires to enhance my performance while cycling. I placed 5th and 3rd in my age group in these races. Nicks knowledge and skills are such an asset to customers in Warner Robins. Thanks Nick
Even though I had paid to have a bike fit done at a different store, and even purchased a new seat, Ive still had more saddle discomfort than I thought I should be experiencing. (I should have gone back shortly after bike fit and let them know, but life happened, and I didnt make it during guarantee time.) Went to bike service center, had seat adjusted and it is SO much better. Wouldnt let me pay him anything, and didnt try to upsell me, but I will be back for all my bike needs.
Love this shop! Great service. Great merchandise. Owner is very helpful and knowledgeable.
Thanks for helping my daughter with her bike awesome service man thanks
Awesome service
Nick is your bicycle guy! He has a great personality and reasonable pricing. If you need a fix or a tune-up, this is where you need to go!
Owner is very knowledgeable. I won’t take by bikes any where else.
Outstanding!!
Doesnt just repair your bike, but takes the time to explain and show you exactly what was done. Very personable and doesnt overcharge.
Great work and reasonable prices
Excellent service and support here.
