Update: Manny contacted me, picked up the shoes, repaired and returned them in 24hrs. He did an excellent job! In addition, he accepted responsibility and fixed the problem. This is integrity and good customer service. I am changing my rating from 1 star to 5 stars.This is the worst shoes repair job. I took 8 pairs of shoes for new rubber heel tips. It took 2 weeks to complete the repairs and the heel tips were plastic - see picture for result after 1 wear. When I contacted them, I was told the tips were defective. Took 6 pairs back for redo and it took 3 weeks to get my shoes back. The job looks worse than before. Some tips are too small, others are slanted, and heel damaged on one pair. I paid $95 to them & still have to take my shoes elsewhere to be fixed.

We have used this show repair in the past. Very good work. Great prices. We will go back.

Very responsive, even after hours. Took time to chat with me and explained everything about replacing the bottom rubber. I took my boots in right before Christmas. Today I got them back and they look good as new. He even went the extra step and fixed both my zipper pulls. A+ professional, friendly and great workmanship!

Put in zippers in husbands cowboy boots as they were difficult to get OFF. Did a beautiful job and you can barely see the zippers. Quality was awesome, price was reasonable and they said approximately a week to complete the job and they were ready when promised. The entire staff was professional and easy to work with. I highly recommend for any repairs and services.

Earlier today I posted a review in which I rated my experience with 2 stars. I am unable to edit that review with a follow-up, so this is my revision. After posting my experience the owner, Manny, immediately reached out to me. He expedited the repair on my boots so I would not have to wait until Monday (and would have them for my weekend hunt.). That he read the review and acted immediately to meet my expectations and attempt to reconcile my negative experience was impressive. When I returned to the store to pick up my boots he spent time with me to explain how they fixed the failed first attempt at repair, as well as what contributed to my negative interaction with his employee. Again, I was impressed by his attentiveness to customer feedback - and so quickly. I would not hesitate to return to do business here again or to recommend this business. I recognize that any interaction can run sour, and when it does the real professionals rise up and own the customer issue and act to resolve it as Manny did. Thanks for your time Manny!

I’ve been having trouble wearing out my left shoe/boot for years. No matter what brand of shoes/boots. Took my work boots to be repaired for yet another hole in the heel of the left boot and he suggested I measure both my feet to see if they are the same size. Sure enough, I have 2 different size feet and that’s why I keep wearing out only one shoe. My shoe is too big for that foot and my heel slides up and down which rubs a hole in the heel. He padded the left boot so it would fit better along with patching the hole. Awesome customer service!!!

Poor customer experience. Took a pair of snake boots in to get soles re-glued. Repair didnt last 5 minutes. A simple quality check by them could have caught it and saved me 2 more trips (drop off and pick up) and a weekend in the woods without the boots. Not the friendliest folks either. Lady taking my return was a bit terse and not at all apologetic regarding their repair failure.

I just picked up my Leather Naturalizer Pumps. I took them to El Vaquero to have the heels fixed because I scraped them very badly while walking through gravel at an event. The scraps are no longer visible, the leather is flat on the heel again, and the tip on the heel looks nicer than the one that was on it when I purchased the shoe!I am extremely impressed and pleased with the quality workmanship at El Vaquero, Boot and Shoe Repairs.

I was delighted with the caliber of workmanship which was able to resole my dress shoes with a leather sole/heel. These shoes were originally equipped with a rubber sole and now hope they will last for years to come.

Recently I revisited El Vaquero Custom Boots & Shoe Repairs to have a pair of exotic shoes repaired. These were casual shoes that once had a rubber sole and heel. These shoes were made by Belvedere - a company known for crafting quality exotic footwear. The heel literally cracked, and I never experienced this before. At my request the soles and heels were to be replaced. I honestly felt the shoes were unrepairable and a total lost 😩. When I returned to pick up my shoes I was utterly amazed at the quality workmanship. He was able to remove the leather and replace the sole and heel with a more durable and quality material. I must add that 11 months ago I posted a not so favorable review, but I decided to give this establishment another opportunity. I glad I did. Thank you so much.

Does beautiful leather work. Ive seen his hand crafted belts, wallets, phone cases and boot vamps. Very precise in his boot and shoe repairs. Took an old pair of boots and made them look like new! Also is the only place in Warner Robins that repairs tack and saddles that I know of!

I took a purse to be repaired because the clasp was broken and he replaced it at a very reasonable price. They do an excellent job and there was a one day turnaround for a pair of shoes and the purse. I’m ecstatic!!

I took my embossed boots in to replace a pull strap chewed up by my dog. 🙄 I thought they would have to completely replace it since it was chewed in half, but they were able to save them! Now they still have the same embossed design as they did before. Im very excited about their custom leather work theyll be selling in the future. 👍
