However, given my immediate unexpected need I had to request some help from them on the price/valuation of my own car and they met that need. Probably the best car buying experience Ive had. I just had the pleasure of driving our new Pacifica back home twelve hours away - Mike was our point of contact, who assured me from afar that the vehicle would be ready for me and free of any defects when I arrived from out of town. *Up date: 7/11/2020 it has been 2 months and counting and Hertz still will not pay off my CAR LOAN. THEY WILL NOT CONTACT ME OR GIVE ME AN ANSWER! Is this how you treat a customer? Seems consistent with all the BBB complaints. I would never recommend this dealership to anyone!I have an active complaint with the BBB and I will post this review on all the hertz dealership until this is resolved.** I want my outstanding car loan paid off plus reimbursement for the hundreds of dollars of interest iv been forced to pay.

If I could rate this dealership 0 I would. This is a long review but I was so disappointed I feel like I have to warn people. We live in Kansas but saw the exact vehicle I’ve been hunting for so decided to make the trip. We called and spoke to multiple people, asked several questions and made an appointment to come in and look at the vehicle. Some of the questions being is the check engine light on or are there any service messages? We were told no, that it was running good. They even called morning of to confirm that we were coming, and when I spoke to them I was told the vehicle would be pulled around, cleaned up and ready to go. Clearly they never even checked on the things we had questioned them over the phone, because the vehicle wouldn’t even start when we got there. In fact the battery was dead and it certainly had not been cleaned up. We had wait 1 to 1 1/2 hours to even be able to test drive it. When we did get out on the road, a check engine light came on and a second service message. My husband worked in the automotive industry for years, so we pulled over into an autozone, had them run the code and immediately started making calls to get estimates on the cost of repair. All this taken into account I still really liked the vehicle and was willing to drive it home if they would take off the estimated price of repair. They tried to low ball us and said they would take 500.00 max off, knowing the estimate for the repair was $1,500. We even dealt directly with the manager who was completely unwilling to make the repairs or take their cost into consideration and lower the price. This was horrible customer service. I was lied to about specific questions, and they completely wasted our time knowing we were traveling 2 1/2 hours ONE WAY to come look at the vehicle. Don’t waste you time.

COVID safety practices need improvement. I like Hertz and bought a car here last year. My son and I went to test drive, the salesman that offered to help us had a mask on his desk but was not wearing it during the initial conversation, he asked us to have a seat at which time I asked him to put mask on and he awkwardly did. He was ok after that and answered all our questions, but we did not find a car to buy. I did like that we were able to test drive without the salesman in car.

Bought 2 cars from here and will be back when in need of another. Great deals. Staff is a little different due to the type of dealer. They’re polite but sickly sweet like other dealers. They’re happy to sell you a car but won’t blow smoke or coddle you into it. Worked with us through an issue with a trade in title and took care of a problem we had with the old finance manager a few years ago. New FM is great and the improved location is easily accessible.

There wasnt any pressure here. We told them exactly what type of car we were looking for (under 50k miles, under $10k, and 4 years old or newer). So the guy whipped out his sheet and said heres all I have with prices and mileage and everything. There were plenty of cars to choose from. So we explored around some, he told us what features all these cars have and we test drove a couple. He was actually interested in getting us in a car that we wanted and not one HE wanted. He was even surprised we wanted to buy one that day. Thats how little pressure there was. Highly recommend.

Going through Hertz was the easiest experience Ive had when buying a car.The price, deal, and overall customer service makes Hertz the place to go. We shopped around on Monday and drove away with a 2015 Nissan Tuesday afternoon. What me and my wife expected to take weeks of searching, took one day.Mike Mock helped me and my wife right away and pointed us in the right direction. If youre looking for a salesman who knows his product and will help pick a deal for you, ask for Mike Mock.***side note: DO NOT TRUST THE FINANCIAL OFFICER. We went back to Hertz for a second vehicle and this guy had a hissy fit, because we already had approval to finance through our bank. He then berated my wife about financing through them was better (*snort*), he sent the title to us (LATE) and not to the bank, and he gave us the wrong documents we needed to get the car tagged and titled, costing us extra fees.I originally had 5 stars, but because of the finance guy, changed it to two stars. The sales rep Mike Mock is still amazing and worthy of SIX stars. However, the financial guy was not professional. .

Where do I begin? I am a first-time car buyer outside of small dealers and private sales less than $5k. That being said, I knew I was jumping out into the deep end with trying to find a dealer that wasnt in the game to screw me over for more money in their pocket. Not only that, but the hidden fees and overall stress that comes from making such a large purchase can be intimidating. That being said, I was very skeptical of every dealership I ran across. However, Mr. Mike Mock at OKC Hertz Car Sales alleviated me of those stresses and headaches with a friendly and calm demeanor. Mr. Mock was an absolute God-send! He was knowledgeable, very experienced, and at no time did he make me feel pressured to even purchase a vehicle. rather, he offered advice and his input and worked with what I wanted. In a nutshell, he didnt force me into a contract or anything- just a friendly man who sincerely wanted to make sure I was happy and informed of and with my decisions that day. He didnt have that slick car salesman vibe, nor was he rude in any way. In fact, he was very upfront about the pricing and even knew a bit about the warranties that were available. He didnt hide anything from me-- transparency is important to me! I ended up driving off the lot with a vehicle that I am very happy with thanks to Mr. Mock. I highly recommend this branch, and certainly mr. Mock, to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle in the OKC area!

After an underwhelming experience at the Joe Cooper lot on Memorial, I went to Hertz Car Sales and met two of the nicest people there: Mike Mock and Brian Munroe. At no point did I ever feel pressured. Mike was not pushy at all. In fact, his approach was the total opposite. He treats you like youre his personal friend. One of the cars he showed me was a 2017 Nissan Versa, he was informative and patient the entire time. The excellent customer service did not stop with him. The finance manager, Brian Munroe, was also patient, cordial and professional. (Brian, us organized people have to stick together! A place for everything....) I was offered a much better deal at Hertz, and am proud to say that I left the lot in that Versa on Nov. 9th. Mike called me a few days later to check in and even congratulated me on my purchase----I thought that was the sweetest gesture ever. First off...let me start by saying I am one HAPPY customer. The process for buying my vehicle was smooth and painless. My sales man, Mike Mock was the best. He was to the point, interesting and humorous. I filled out the application online and by the time I got to the lot, I was ready to sign paperwork. There was no hassling, bargaining, just straight to the point. My financing process was quick and easy thanks to Robert Johnson...thank you to the whole Hertz team. I purchased the unit on 9/30/16...test drove it and all was fine. I had a lil hiccup on the way home with the unit and returned to the dealership 10/3/16 and without ANY hesitation, Hertz took care of the problem, no questions asked. This was the most laughable experience of my life.Timeline:Nov. 27th - My old car finally bit the dust. I need a car, and I need it now, before the holiday travels commence.Nov. 29th - After visiting a few dealerships, I booked a Rent to Buy 3 day test drive on the Hertz car sales website. The soonest I could get my car was the next Sunday. No problem; I was stoked for Sunday! 10 out of 10 on the stoked scale! Woohoo!!!Nov. 30th - I am informed via email that should I decide to purchase the vehicle, I would have to drive 3 hours to my nearest Licensed Hertz location, or else I WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PURCHASE THIS VEHICLE. Thats right, I was screamed at in all caps via email. Im feeling slightly discouraged, but Im still willing to do whatever needs to be done to get this car. I was still at a 9.5 on the stoked meter.Dec. 3: The day has finally arrived! Annnnd Ive received no call, even though I was promised I would receive a call, regardless of availability. Im down to a 8.5 on the stoked scale.Dec. 4: I call my friendly Hertz sales team; they cannot tell me anything. They guess the rental location lost my car. They tell me they will call me in 2 to 3 days with an update. 7.5 on the stoked scale.Dec. 8: I call my friendly Hertz sales team; still no update. Still did not receive the call I was promised. They assure me it shouldnt be much longer. They promise to call me with an update next week. 6.5 on the stoked scale.Dec. 15: I call my friendly Hertz sales team; still no update. Still did not receive the call I was promised. I am told the car is supposed to arrive back to the rental location in 2 days, and it may be an additional 2 to 3 days to prepare the car for my test drive. Christmas is less than 2 weeks away. I NEED A CAR. 5.5 on the stoked scaleDec. 16: I call my friendly Hertz sales team. I beg and plead with Nicole to just get me any car to test drive. As long as its comparable to my car, I will just test it out, and figure out where my car is after the test drive. She informs me that she cannot do that for me. I will have to wait for a call back in the next 2 to 3 days. I begin to wonder if 2 to 3 days is Hertzs company motto. Im now at a 0.5 on the stoked scale.Dec. 18: Its Monday, and Im desperate. I call Enterprise and tell them what car I was looking at buying from Hertz. I get a text from a member of the sales team within an hour, and he says he found my car (!!!!!) and it will be ready for me to test drive that day at 3:00 (!!!!!!!!!!). I would wish it upon no human being in the world. I know Im just one customer, and missing out on my business wont hurt you in the long run, but I CANNOT be the only one this has happened to.Not to mention, I left out a few of the letdowns I experienced, because this review was getting too lengthy.I absolutely love my car, and I now have a vehicle to drive for the holidays to see my family.

On July 19, 2016 Mr. Niang at Hertz Car sales on14228 North Broadway Edmond Ok 73013 willfully and wrongfully committed and FRCA violation by pulling our credit report without our consent after we specifically ask him not to do so because we brought our own loan. On July 19, 2016 my family drove from Tulsa to OKC to purchase a vehicle with my 2 toddler daughters and wife. We knew this particular auto was the one we wanted and we intended to drive home in it. We came equipped with our own auto loan through our bank Chase. We got to the car lot and a sales rep named Mike Kirkham assisted us. When wefirst spoke we told him we knew we wanted the vehicle we just needed to test drive it. We did and when we got back to the facility we talked price for a few minutes and then we decided to close on the purchase. The Financial Manager Madior Niang told us he would draw up the paper work. He informed us 90% of the time he can get a better interest rate on a loan then the banks offered the customer because they wanted big businesses giving them new clients. We declined his offer and explained we were happy with the terms of our loan and that we were also shopping for a home and did not want to lower our credit score with additional inquiries. He then told us he would see what interest rate he could get us and if we were interested he would then pull our credit and secure the loan. Again we said no thank you we are not interested and my wife explained that she was beginning to get uncomfortable. Mr. Niang then said he could use our bank loan and asked us to divulge the details of our loan so he could enter it into his system. We did and were pleased to move forward. He then explained to me that our bank would not be able to process the loan by the end of the day and that we needed to purchase full coverage insurance and go with the same loan through his system if we wanted to leave in the car. He told us full coverage insurance was a stipulation on our loan and that we needed to provide a down payment. We knew this was false information because we discussed this loan at length with our bank. My wife and I decided it was time to end the transaction because we felt things were going wrong and Mr. Niang was making us very uncomfortable. He told us we needed to sign some paperwork and he would give us a bill of sale to take to our bank. We were bewildered and said we are not signing anything and I recognized that the form was a consent to pull credit. We repeated we do not want our credit pulled to which he replied he already did credit and there must have been some sort of miscommunication. We explained that there was no miscommunication and what he did was wrong and that he lied. He got offended and started pointed in my wife’s face and was trying to back pedal and told us he was trying to help us and that he would hold the vehicle for us so we could go to our bank and pick up the cashier’s check to bring to him the following day. This was our intention the entire time. We planned on going our OKC branch and already spoke to a Chase representative on our test drive to ensure all of the paperwork was in order. Mr. Niang not only lost commission for his sales associate Mike Kirkham, he lost a 10,000 sale for Hertz auto sales. Our business was a sure thing and he lost Hertz customers and willfully and wrongfully committed FRCA violations. Our credit is damaged from this. If Madior Niang was” just trying to help” he would have held the car for us if our bank could not process the loan in time so we could return with the cashiers check the following day. I bought my latest car from them. Their cars are checked well and the price is fixed. But they dont have a lot of collections in their lot.If you have option, its better to get financing from your bank, not from them.
