Needed fix my exhaust. Did a well enough job and a nearly reasonable price but also pushed a $525 repair because I was leaking fuel. immediately after the repair I noticed it was still leaking and went back to ask the guy to finish/fix what they messed up they tried to charge me more to fix what he was supposed to fix in the first place. - Dont recommend, if they miss something they want it to be the customers expense.

I visited this shop about two years ago, and had an overall positive experience. My 2014 Buicks power steering had gone out, and I also needed some suspension related parts replaced. Things seemed fine when I drove off, but I had to return after service, because of a noticable issue while driving.The mechanic quickly fixed it however with no charge.My recent experience however was extremely unpleasant, and I noticed a completely different crew. Two weeks ago, I paid them to tow my 2013 Dodge to their shop, but once it was there, no one called me for 3-4 days. When I called for an update, the service team had a tone, as if I were bothering them, even though I was very polite and patient. After a week with no update whatsoever, I went to the shop in person, and noticed my vehicle in the parking lot. I asked to speak with the mechanic with admittedly an irritable tone and he told me the van was too messed up and he didnt need to deal with it. I asked what the problems were and he said I came in rudely. I apologized and explained to him my frustration and then told me hed checked the vehicle and found a faulty ignition module which is whats preventing it from trying to start and that he was waiting for his guy to come replace it or repair it and reprogram the key to it. At this point I left the shop with some hope, but never received a single call from them even till today. I suspect there were problems he didnt want to deal with, but wish he had been upfront with me about that from the beginning. When I called today I identified myself as the owner and he asked what can I do for you? It was as if he was just waiting for me to get it towed away, which I did, to somewhere that respects my time and takes my business seriously.

Fixed my exhaust problem quickly. I am pretty satisfied, its quite as a mouse and drives way better. Ill be back to let them do my brakes and a few other miscellaneous things for sure.

Fixed my loud sounding muffler less than an hour. Nice and friendly service. Reasonable price. I would most definitely recommend to anyone!!!!

To high not good work

I went there for the first time, I am a mechanic myself but I needed something done that required a lift. The owner was very friendly and did my repair very quickly and for a great price. They showed me what they had done after completing the work. With out question I think they are great and I will be going back when something comes up that I cant do. My only issue here is that what turned into getting my car back in two days evolved into a week. There were some uncovered issues that had to be addressed, but those werent brought up until the 4th day of them having the car. the car lot was pretty full with vehicles that needed repairs, so i think ill give them another chance.

Very fast, efficient, and best of all reasonably priced automotive repair. They are really easy to work with. My car is the Devil to work on and they always rise to the challenge. Crooks . I took my car to abdula and told him that it needs driveshaft center support because of strong vibration also my check engine light is on. He told me to drop it off so he can check it. So I did that. then 5 days later he call me saying that the vibration problem is (brake pads, rotors, and wheel bearing) and the engine light on because (spark plugs and coil) total of $800 parts and labor so I told him go ahead and do it 4 days later I picked up my car and drove on the highway and nothing is fixed still strong vibration also the check engine light cam on offer 2 hours so I called him and told him nothing is fixed he said I should change the other wheel bearing and two rear tires cast me $ 470 so I did that and yet the vibration still there so I call him I said I told you its the drive center support he made me spend $1,270.00 for nothing my car still vibrating check engine light still on. my car is parked now unf-kin believable . Nasty place( be careful Everyone)

Since this place is under new ownership the service is terrible. I took my vehicle to them in September for a exhaust/muffler issue. Day #1 I was charged $90.00 for a flex pipe. It was a complete waste of $$ as it did not help the problem one bit. Day 2 I took it back the services I paid for was to fix my entire exhaust system as well as a new muffler 1 new used Cadillac converter as my van has 3 of them they also cleaned out another one...3rd converter is fine I guess, also a tune up. They were paid in advance on day #2. When I picked up my vehicle on day 2 I asked if the smell was gone that was my main concern as my children ride in my van daily. I have my children in different cities for school of choice so another reason why it was so important for the exhaust smell to be gone our morning drive to school is not just a block or two away. It was causing us to have headaches every day and Im in it the longest taking my children to and from school along with my oldest daughter who has many appointments severe autism and multiple behavioral issues. It is not easy with her in the van as she is not a huge fan of riding in the car. Especially now more than before bc like the rest of us the smell really bothers her. I never felt like for the $$ they charged me that I got good service in return as the smell NEVER FULLY WENT AWAY JUST SLOWLY GOT WORSE. I was right yesterday Abdul I believe his name is said I could bring my vehicle in at 9:00 a.m. he would look at it for me. He had my vehicle for 7 hours called me to tell me a pipe in the front of my vehicle needed to be straight piped and welded. He said I normally charge $150.00 for that, but for you I will charge $100.00. That being said, I said to him I already paid you to fix anything exhaust related! He said No that wasnt part of our deal I said wasnt part of our deal..? Correct me if Im wrong but is that not an exhaust problem..? He said yes but that was not in our deal. My paperwork from them says from the 2nd day repairs tune up, replace whole exhaust system, so can someone please tell me why in the world Id pay him another $100.00+ to fix something he was already paid to do 2xs already..? So not only do I feel they took advantage of me bc Im a woman and a single mom the work they do there comes with no warranty or guarantee they did not do the entire exhaust system bc if they did he wouldnt have said that part of the exhaust wasnt in our deal! I mean really who would pay for only 95% of the exhaust system to be fixed knowing that if it ALL doesnt get done at the same time its gona be a reaccuring problem half assed fixed! I know I was 100% positive I was getting and paying for the entire thing fixed just like he verbally told me as well as what my paperwork said. I feel like for the $$ I spent to fix my vehicle it shouldnt smell like exhaust fumes whatsoever! All I wanted from them was to fix the exhaust smell/fumes bc my kids depend on me to get them to and from every day, keep them safe, take care of them protect them bc they are my everything and so much more! And as a mom it is also my job. My vehicle still smells terrible to the point its again causing us all to be sick in one way or another and bc I cant afford to pay a 3rd time for them to fix the same problem and I also dont think I should have to pay again I am unable to put my kids in my vehicle for more than 10 minutes or so bc Im worried they will continue to get sick from exhaust fumes and all of the carbon monoxide that is all through my vehicle. I hardly ever write a review and if I do it is always a good one. I hope this is helpful to anyone that may read it...I hope that if you have them service your vehicle they do right by you..I just want people to be aware that the muffler shop that was once fantastic with great prices is now in my opinion and based on my experience is not a very good place to get a vehicle serviced. They destroyed my Sons car. They have NO idea what they are doing outside of brakes, and oil changes.

CROOKS ...My serpentine belt broke on my 2006 F150 in front of the Hoover and 9 mile auto shop, I pulled up into the shop and was greeted by Abdula, I told him I believe my serpentine belt was broke, he examined the the belt and told me, my tensioner and pulley were broke, he show the pulley looseness, and told me all of these items would have to be replaced, for $225. I hesitated with the price and he said he would have to take off the fan to get to the tensioner and then gave me another price $200 for a complete fix to which I agreed after I thought about the labor. Come to find out the fan assembly was not needed to be taken out so there was no extra labor. I used my charge to pay for the service. I talked to friend who works on cars and was told to get the broken parts and come to find out the tensioner was not broke just the pulley and its bearings, cost $15 . These parts easily accessible on top of engine . I returned to the shop and talked with abdula as he told me my tensioner would be going bad eventually... Im not broke money wise but I hate getting fu-k by people who think they can get away with this type of practices.... make it short dont mess with Hoover and 9 mile auto .. nothing but Slimy crooks

Last week my post was in reference to my Catalytic Converter, since then the Hoover & 9 Mile Auto Repair has installed a Brand New Catalytic Converter on my vehicle. As Abdoul explained, there had been a mis-communication between he and the mechanic who had serviced my vehicle. I do thank Abdoul for moving forward and get this issue with my Catalytic Converter resolved.

This guy works without safety gear and is a little crazy but arent we all? He does EXCELLENT work for the BEST price hands down!
