My recent purchase of a Trek Verve 2 - with a compromised supply chain - was handled with great professionalism by Macomb Bike. They were very honest about supply issues when I placed a deposit on the bike and were very accommodating in ensuring that when it was received - if it didn’t meet what I ordered - deposit would be fully refunded. I truly felt that they were not taking advantage of the high demand (low supply) on bikes and making sure orders placed were a minimum risk to their customers. I greatly appreciated that, which wasn’t my experience from other Bike shops in the area! This is a company you can trust!

Purchased my Trek Marlin 6 here in Fall 2020.The bike was originally assembled in such a way that the shifter allowed me to shift up into a non-existant gear, which caused the shift cable to split and require replacement.It was fine because I had to bring my bike in for a free tune up anyway in the spring, which is an awesome perk of buying your bike here by the way.At first they tried telling me it would cost a small amount for the cable and labor but when I pressed them on it being an assembly defect they asked when I purchased it and so they agreed to take care of it free of charge.Super friendly staff and they stand behind their products. Highly recommended.

We came in yesterday to buy a bike for my sons 5th birthday. It has been the better part of 20 years since I have been in the store and we wanted to get something that had quality as his first bike was too small for him. Unbeknownst to us until we left, it was about 45 minutes before the store closed when we showed up. The gentleman that helped us showed us exactly what we were looking for, and helped with a decision about what sizes tires we should be interested in based on where it would be getting rode the most. There were no bikes on the shelves of exactly what he wanted as far as color was concerned and the gentleman went in the back and built the bike while we waited only minutes before they closed. I can’t exclaim how happy this made my son, as I know most retail type stores would have made us wait until the next day. Instead, my son got to ride the bike he picked out on his birthday. The bike itself is top notch, and the service was second to none. Thank you! We will see you in a few weeks to buy a couple more!

The products are all quality products. The salesman that took care of us seemed truly interested in finding something that would work for me (which isnt easy at 6 5 and 300+ pounds) and fit my budget. It took a while but his never say die attitude earned him a sale and a grateful customer.

My 2 Trek bikes were recalled because of a pedal issue. I live about 45 minutes away from Macomb Bike where I bought them both. I called and asked what I should do, and they said bring them in. So I drove over and was greeted as soon as I walked in and they took care of both bikes by installing new pedals. Trek also offered a 20 dollar discount on an accessory for each bike so I decided to put both credits towards a rack for my wifes bike. Not only did they fix the recall, they also installed the rack while I waited as well. I was out of there in 30 minutes! Cant beat that kind of service! I highly recommend Macomb Bike.

I purchased two bikes online and was able to pick them up after a few days. Great service. Both bikes did not come with a kickstand. I bought the kickstand while I picking up the bikes and they quickly installed them there. They even helped me load both bikes into my vehicle with care. I plan on buying two more bikes from there again next spring.

I have two bikes, didn’t purchase either of them at this shop. They aren’t high end bikes by any means. I’ve had them serviced at this location a few times and all the staff treats them as if they were high end. I’ve often found that shops will talk down to you for not having a super nice bike. Macomb Bike is not that way by any means. They always make me feel comfortable, they are honest, and don’t try to up sell you on services. They give accurate timelines and don’t overcharge. They have forever won my business as long as I’m in this area. My next bike will be purchased at this shop.

I cant say enough good things about Macomb Bike! I first dealt with them about a year ago when I was purchasing my first serious bike. I told Jim, the gentleman assisting me about my needs, and what I had in mind. He showed me several options and explained the pros and cons, and when I told him my price range he didnt bat an eye and steered me towards a great but more budget friendly option. Since then, Ive been back for a couple of tune-ups for my bikes and they come back working like brand-new! The second tune-up was on my original purchase, and was actually free because they offer free tune-ups on any bike you purchase through them. I also had a BIG ride coming up and asked if they could turn my bike tune up around within a week (I expected a we will try our best) but was actually told that it wouldnt be a problem. Just 3 days later, I received a text that my bike was ready! I HIGHLY recommend Macomb Bike to anyone with bike needs!

Faster service than expected. Bike was ready after 2 days although it was quoted to be out for 1 week. Other local bike shops had a 2-3 week wait in the cue. Friendly service provided and all questions were answered. Will definitely return for future bike issues.

When I bought my Marlin 7, the staff at Macomb bike made sure to help me become familiar with the bike before I left and helped me with a sizing issue when I brought my bike back in.

I like that Macomb Bike offers lifetime tune ups on bikes purchased from their store, it was my deciding factor in driving over 40 minuets to their store rather than something closer to my home.Staff was friendly, knowledgeable and a pleasure to do business with. At the time of my purchase I got 10% off of new bikes like other bike shops do. I just asked and they matched but not sure if thats their standard. I ended up buying my wife a Marlin after my Roscoe8 2020.They have my business.Also when I went in for a tune up they had my bike back in under a week even though they were slammed!Happy with their service and selection. Obviously Ill be a customer for life with the free tune ups! Till I buy my next bike from them.

Ordered pedals and cleats to use with my home spin bike. Was pleased to find them locally and cheaper than amazon! Was able to do curbside pick up and had them faster than they would have shipped. Will be back.

Very helpful staff and prompt return of messages. They helped me and took care of me when I ordered the bike and it was too big for me. Although my height is 6’3” and I fell into the sizing for an XL frame they instructed me what the most important measurements were for me to order the correct size frame. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase and would give my highest level of recommendation to anyone looking for a bike.
