Good shop, I like that the grain is self-serve. That way I know what Im getting. The crush is always great. Their Monster Mill kicks ass. The grain prices are all the same regardless of variety and cheaper than the local competitions. They sponsor both major AHA big brew days and the homebrew club does a great job of it on those days. There wine kit selection is excellent. Bring in a homebrew for they guys to sample! Honey prices are good too, mead makers.
My experience was great. The guy running. The place was amazing very helpful. Gave me a lot of insight on brewing and techniques. It was probably the best place Ive ever been.
Ive been here before and I liked it but they appear to be permanently closed
They have a good selection of products. The staff is very knowledgeable. Customer service is a little cold. You have to make sure you ask if you want help, but nice people overall.
I have been going here for about 5 years and this place has slowly declined every year until I have finally sworn off shopping here and instead now drive an extra 30 minutes out of my way for homebrew products. They are always out of some major grains (like basic pale malt), their yeasts are always at least 6 months old, if not older, and the people that work there seem oblivious. The last time I went in, they had a Ring doorbell instead of an actual person at the front desk and had to wait about 15 minutes just to be told they didnt have a few basic grains and it was impossible to get a bag from their brewery to open. The store is always dirty too with thick layers of dust. I am very sad to see such poor management of what could be a great store.
Tons of different grains that you can scoop and grind right there in the store. Solid selection of malt extracts, lots of different hops and yeasts. Ive always been able to find the adjuncts I need. They dont have a ton of equipment for sale but they have the little things you need every time like caps and grain bags. Very helpful staff, great place to go if you are new to homebrewing. They have helped me figure out what I needed on multiple occasions.
Being quite new to home brewing (reading is apparently not the same as doing), I wandered into the self serve grain section and saw none of the items the recipe was calling for.My confusion must have been obvious, because the woman behind the counter helped me pick out my grains, my hops, and even my yeast strain. She was very friendly, knowledgeable, and a great asset to the store.I will definitely be back. This store is my go to now.
Great selection. Reasonable prices and very helpful always friendly staff. Youd think theyd be bored of rudimentary hardware questions, but theyre always positive, insightful and helpful.
Great prices and great selection of brew supplies and kits.
Great place for advice and recipes, just has not changed or improved over the years, employees are always great, it would be nice to see some updated equipment thats available, a more accessible display of parts, its behind the counter and obscured by stuff would be nice as well
Closest homebrew shop to me. Swung in to pick up bottle gaskets and I was running super behind. Got there and they had already pulled the gaskets aside from when I called to check if they were in stock earlier. In and out super quick. Cheers!
Very helpful with any questions I had and seemed passionate about the subject rather than bothered by my complete cluelessness. Bottles are much cheaper than getting them online!
Perfect place to get anything brewing related, and really awesome employees that are super helpful to this novice.
Great place to get all you need to start brewing!
Good for supplies. Need to dusy3
Great place for beginners and pros. Excellent staff, very helpful, food prices, and selection.
Terrible website. Barely more than a placeholder.
Great for when I want grains for my brew-brews.
Great supply shop for all your home beer and wine making needs
Convenient location but always out of 1 or more things I need.
Convenient, and the staff is very helpful. Definitely plan on going back.
Amazing place to get lot information about how to brew!
Great place if youre trying to get into brewing
Great place that has everything you need. Very helpful workers with a lot of knowledge.
I really want to like this place. Depending on the staff, they are somewhat helpful, but too many times I have gone here and they have been out of stock in simple things, like buckets, hydrometers, siphons, etc. I still frequent the place, but mostly because there arent other homebrew stores in the area.
Constantly out of stock of base malts. staff is great and the place works in a pinch but dont expect to find everything you are looking for to make that perfect brew.
Brewing is not a hobby of mine, but I went in for a specific gift for a friend. The staff was friendly and very helpful- even bringing my purchases to my car for me.
Decent selection, employee at the counter was friendly and knowledgeable, plus with Kuhnnen right next door you can stop in for a tasty beer on your way out!
Very friendly, and went through the entire kit piece by piece to make sure it would work with my refrigerator to kegerator conversion. Even walked outside with me to look at the refrigerator to make sure the shank was long enough to go through the wall of refrigerator.
