Needed a 4 inch drop hitch for a truck, and was able to find it here. Id initially gone to this store because I heard they had a variable-height hitch and I wasnt sure 4 inches was going to be sufficient. However, there was only the display model of the variable hitch - and also no price for it. So I settled for the 4 inch drop, and now that its hooked up, what I really need is 5 or six. But it will do, I suppose. Checkout lines were long, and as I waited in line, watched one gal go on break which was surprising. NO ONE should be headed out on a break with people waiting in line, imo.

My adult tool toy store. Most of the staff is very helpful. Just once I had a problem. Their website said they had 3 sanders at the location I was at, the employee I asked for help said sorry I dont know where they are, and walked away.

I purchased a Chicago Electric Plunge Router (item 37793) from your store on April 13, 2021. I suspected I did not know how to use the router as I could not get it to work. Later I discovered it came broken. I returned it to the store to be told I must have the original receipt. The original receipt was accidentally washed. What do I do now? Decent tools at good prices. These tools arent super fancy, but they do the job. Same warranties as Craftsman and others so why not try them?

I love harbor freight. There are some things I buy here, and some I dont. Items that arent likely to have quality concerns are great to buy here. Electric or cordless tools, I dont buy here and instead opt for brand names else where like Milwaukee.

The prices are totally awesome I love coming in here for pretty much anything. Usually never have any problems with the quality of their products for the price.

The tools are good enough for home use and much cheaper than pro grade. Once you get past the whole China thing, you are there.

Weird story, I ordered a 2 ton load leveler from Harbor Freight months ago, because the local stores were out of stock. I received a text yesterday saying that my order had to be back order and would be canceled in if I responded to the text. ? So I went on line to look for another one and guess what? The two local Harbor Freight stores have the item in stock! So I went and bought 1.

Worst customer service ever !!! The manager Brian has anger issues and so does the associate Pam. We went to return a chain saw only got attitude from both people. First off the manager babysat us while we were in line waiting for a return ... Then the associate kept talking over us and slamming her pen down. Only one associate treated us with respect. I will never darken the doors of that store ever again.

Lots of great items well priced and some with a lifetime warranty. Staff was friendly and the facility was clean, well organized and stocked.

Their stock is always changing. They have a lot of things I need but, when you back to get a tool, they always have new and different stuff. Its good and bad. Good to have fresh tools but, bad when you need an exchange or additional tool.

Store always clean. Very helpful and friendly staff. Sale prices arent as good as they once were but there still is value to be had.

Isnt first time there where Ive seen buyers are on line at register and wind up walking out due to the slow checkout . Six to eight people in line and cashier doesnt see it to call for help- bad training ? Or they just dont care because theyre the only game in town left to buy tools others dont carry.

Come for the affordable/expendable tools you were looking for, stay because the aisles are packed with stuff you didnt know you needed.

I just left the store in frustration. The sign says they open at 800. The doors are locked. I knocked multiple times just to get someones attention & they told me we are having technical difficulties and cant ring anybody out.It seems like either laziness or incompetence to not put a sign on the door to quickly let customers know why youre not open.

I have been going to Harbor Freight for years now. I have had items that have been recalled or that have broken and I just take them back. Some of the parts are cheap. I understand that, you get what you pay for. Nevertheless, most things that I get are pretty good quality and you really cant beat HFs prices. Well, I bought a creeper from there a few weeks ago and I went to use it today and the wheel broke. I could not find the receipt but I didnt think it was a big deal. Boy, was I wrong. It is their company policy not to take anything back without a receipt. Mind you, I didnt want store credit, I didnt want to buy something else, I just wanted to exchange it. Obviously, this one malfunctioned. After explaining that I didnt have the receipt, the cashier (wish I would have gotten her name) was super RUDE, which I never experienced there before. She said she didnt have the authority to exchange it (which to me, meant it could be done) so I ask for the manager. Josh comes up and pretty much repeats the same thing. I told him I spend THOUSANDS of dollars at the store, and they cant exchange a $20 item?? No, the policy is to have the receipt. Ok, them keep your item and I promise you, I will NEVER ever shop at any Harbor Freight Tools again. The company return policy SUCKS!!

Great place to go if you need some cheap tools/equipment that you dont need to use much. Had to get a few things here not the best quality but perfect for me since I will probably use a handful of times throughout my life. Very friendly and knowledgeable.

Everything, price, selection, qualitytools if you dont try testing their limits, the staff of workers always go out of their way to help. If its possible they make it happen, if not Ill come back when it is possible I like this store so well.

Huge clean hardware store with lots of room to navigate through which houses lots of cheap products. Most items will work perfectly fine around your home...definitely not for commercial use! Salespersons are readily available to direct you down the right path and friendly helpful attitudes. I like shopping here with my husband!
