Been there 3 times and some else was there 1 time for the same truck which they seem to not be able to fix it. Have appointment for the 5th time hopefully they have the right part and some one there who can final fix it. Very disappointed in the company Im glad its not my truck otherwise I would go with a different company. To be fair though the couple times before covid hit it was good but the truck new also.

What can I say about Penske? Grade A, 100% customer satisfaction! This was my first time renting a truck from this company and by far the best experience! I have utilized others as Budget and U-haul but never have experienced such great customer service! From booking the rental with Hugh, to picking up the truck with Erica! Both individuals were so attentive to my satisfaction! I highly recommend Penske and plan on utilizing them for any future needs!

Hugh from the Plymouth store is always an absolute pleasure to work with. Do yourself a favor and avoid Home Depot for Penske pickup. I had to call Hugh to handle my Dearborn HD pickup because the rental counter was literally clueless. Penske is a great value with great service.

Reservation for a DAY Cab at PENSKE warren, Mi. Garret said he would have the tractor ready to go @0700 . At 0700 Erica said they do not have a DAY Cab available and to call GOPENSKE1 for a reservation . I did Jason at PENSKE1 said the warren Michigan location had a DAY cab ready and to send someone to pick the unit up . I called Erica back in warren Michigan she said she doesnt know why PENSKE1 would tell me they had a tractor when they dont have any DAY cabs, I asked for Garret but Erica said he was not working today and she did not know when he would be working, I asked to speak to Garrets supervisor and Erica said she is Garrets supervisor . Funny Garrets supervisor does not know when he works ( explains why they dont know where the DAY cab is ) . Erica said she will call me back when she finds a DAY cab available . Yeah ok I will hold my breath.

Penske is by far the best truck rental for residential and or commercial truck rental for every day use. I have used Budget, U-haul, and Enterprise truck rental and Penske is my go to. The trucks are well maintained and unlike the other 3 if you have a break down Penske doesnt send 3rd party vendors to fix your truck, which can cause you days of delays. Yes it happened to me so I know. Penske fleet is the newest and best maintained. Best tie down system for better securement of property. Take it from a professional moving company Penske fleet and customer service is the best.

Great service! Truck ran great from Michigan to Florida. Easy check in and out. The associate even waited for us on a Friday night at closing time to make sure we were taken care of.

Worst Penske location possibly in the United States. Never fix anything on my full service lease tractor unit. They either passively look at the unit or never even look at it at all. Either way, problems are never corrected. Speak to manager and get lip service but no results. Service coordinators lie to me directly and cannot justify when questioned with contradictory facts.

Awesome customer service. I called late in the day on Friday because Budget Truck Rental lost my reservation. The Penske team had many trucks available and the whole process of renting and returning was painless. (Just wish my move was painless too, but thats another story.) Price per mile was a bit higher than competitors, but having a truck available when you have a move planned is worth the extra cost.

Penske was wonderful, I moved my daughter from Royal Oak, MI. to Hoboken, N.J. The truck was clean and ready, people were nice, pick-up and drop-off were easy. They are much cheaper than U-haul, discount for AAA. Truck ran good and had no problems. We dropped the truck off at a Home Depot. Would use again.

Be careful if you give these guys your credit card. I leased a truck last July and now a charge appears for January 28 for a driver and company I never heard of, and Penske keeps insisting its my charge. Its blatant fraud. The date was Jan 28, 2019; I was snowed in West MI by the Polar Vortex, didnt drive a truck anywhere. FOLLOW UP, after the company agreed the bill was an error, THEY REBILLED ME AGAIN< APRIL 3, 2019

When I contacted the Penske office inquiring about renting a 12 foot truck I was told that if I paid with my debit card I would not have to pay a $100 deposit. Upon arrival to my truck pick up location I was in fact, charged $100 and I was told it was policy and whoever I spoke with was misinformed. After my trip from Tulsa, OK to Utica, MI I went to drop off my truck and claim my $100 deposit. My drop off location informed me that they were unable to refund my money. In that office they called Penske corporate to notify them about the situation. After two days of waiting I did not receive my check in the mail as they said I would. I called the Penske office myself inquiring about my deposit refund and was informed that no one knew I was owed a check. After I spoke with the representative they assured me my check would be in the mail that day. A few hours later I was called by Penske saying that I could pick up my check at their local location. When I got there they were unable to refund me my check and in fact said it would come in the mail but after the Memorial Day weekend. All of this miss communication as well as my truck being dirty upon pick up I will take my moving services to U-Haul going forward.

Great place for truck rentals hands down better than uhaul and ryder

Great staff and amazing price. Mikes the man! I really enjoyed my experience with them. They were golden for the most part, only reason why they dont receive a five star rating from me is that one time when we rented a truck then returned it, they wanted to blame a preexisting ding on us. Luckily we had the insurance so even then they couldnt touch us. I would highly recommend this place over uhual any day, just make sure to have all of the dents and scratches marked on the sheet before taking off. Use AAA discount if you have it!

I mean come on do you guys even look over the truck before you guys rent it again. Look over the truck Theres cracks everywhere in the body its missing parts. Theres flat tires then you get around to the window and it says trucks good go. Always takes forever in there. There Elog system is trash its always crashing never connects to the phone app. I would suggest standing behind the name that youre representing.

Things did not go well. The check engine light come on. Had to get a new truck. Had to wait for that truck. This put me behind by two hours. they did a good job in doing something for me. Trucks should be ready to go. I should not have to wait. I was a day behind becasue of this. All palces have probelms, but maybe stick with Uhaul. I even used the company they siad to help me load. that was a mistake damaged my walls and they did not care about helping me at all. In the end was ok with what they did for me, but still not happy with how things went down.

Mike...I think took care of me... when I was in the store.. gave us a great deal... the tuck seemed to be brand new... had I think...7500 miles on it... went from Madison hghts to Novi. Back to Madison heights.. without an issue.. was quite comfortable. I will get all my moving trucks from PENSKE from now on... good job Penske!!

Im writing this review for my friends who just left for Wyoming. We had major issues with the car hauler. Wheel straps were frayed, and we had to wait for a tech to come and replace it. We noticed it when we were getting ready to load the car. They rented both the truck and car hauler from the Rochester, Michigan location yesterday....and thanks to the Warren, mi. location who came to fix they finally got on the road at noon today but planned on being on the road by 9am...3hr delay because someone didnt do thier job on the safety inspection...That Could HAVE KILLED MANY LIVES had it Snapped and Broke!!!! The Car can be replaced But OMG the worst was a huge Possibility!!!!😠 Also the hauler has bolts that catch on scratch up low spoilers on cars....another problem once they get to Wyoming its possible it will catch the spoiler and rip it off when backing car off the hauler!!! So watch out future customers!!!! ALSO, Id like to take a moment to Let You Know your Tech *3 Davon Larkins who came to help us WAS absolutely AWESOME!!! Kind and So Helpful. He made this review a 4star review. That man had it not been for his quick thinking my friends would have had to drive the car back to Wyoming! Because of the bolt on the hauler catching on the spoiler. My friends are Disabled Seniors and couldnt have done all the climbing under the car hook up ect. So Thank You Davon Larkins for making this bad experience the best it could be. And for saving possible lives! God Bless You Son! I hope your employer gives you a raise in pay! Because without you this review would have been a 1star. But Penske I believe my friends should be compensated for all this aggravation! I had similar issues to the 1 star reviewer below jeffrey askanazi, I rented a truck last year and now this year they let another person charge my card for a rental and were not helpful when I called them to dispute the charge.

I own an event rental business and Im located by penske. One day some one from penske came to my office and said why dont you use us. In the last 7 weeks that Ive started using penske weve had an issue with our truck not being there 4 times out of the 7. One day its a transmission, one day its not there, one day it was suppose to come from Ohio but its being delayed and today it was an engine problem the the truck that we were picking up. It is crucial for us to have our trucks on time, Ive never had this problem using ryder for 4 years or Jim Ashmore or Uhaul. And i work with many vendors who aslo use them and which have told me they have been having the sane exact issues were having. If you need a reliable service and trucks DO NOT USE THIS PENSKE. Besides this they gave us a deal which was not honored after a week and they went on to say they never said this or that. I will be contacting head quarters but I will also try to stay away from this unprofessional and unreliable people.
