Rick did a wonderful job with my installation. Took the time to explain all the details. With the pandemic, inventory for subs were really low. We agreed to one system and because of low inventory, he ended up upgrading the subs from what we first discussed! Amazing service. I would recommend anyone looking to upgrade their sound system to visit Rick. He will not disappoint.

Cannot recommend more highly. I contacted Rick about installing a subwoofer in my car to give it a bit more kick, but not be crazy. He walked me through some possibilities. I picked up the sub I wanted and took it to him to install. Its as close to a stock install as I believe its possible to get. Glad I took the recommendation of others and contacted him. Ill definitely be back.

I took a 20 year old Porsche to Rick for some serious updating and restoration work. I had some basic ideas of features I wanted in the car, and he took it from there. He researched various options and made many suggestions. Together we worked out a plan of what seemed reasonable and what might be just a bad idea (on my part). He found several (legitimate) problems that I didn’t know the car even had (mice had chewed wires, etc). He knew all about this model of car and found some really cool possibilities that I didn’t even begin to think of. Rick basically took ownership of the car, as if it were his own, with careful and meticulous work. There was quite a bit of work to be done, and he kept me informed every step of the way. I constantly received pictures of issues and his thoughts of what we should do. In the end, the car turned out much better than I thought, and his price was very fair. I will be back for phase 2! I know all work will be done superbly and in my best interest.

I had been looking for a local car audio shop since Sound on Wheels shutdown. I had an issue with some wiring on my sub and my god the service was amazing. I had an odd issue and they still worked with me to get it fixed. I was finished and had my sounds working in 10 minutes. I would recommend any ex Sound on Wheelers to come here and check it out!

Not exactly sure what people are talking about when they say Rick is unprofessional. Hell tell you exactly what you need for whatever situation you might have. He installed my sub woofers for me OVERNIGHT so Id be able to pick the car up and make it to work on time. If people dont like straightforwardness and professional, clean, seamless installs of whatever they might need their better off going to a Best Buy. You get more than you pay for here. 100% has my business again.

In short, Rick does excellent work at a great price! Ill be back.The details... Rick has installed remote starters in 4 (yes, FOUR!) vehicles for me. Would I keep going back if he didnt do a great job? He was able to install a remote starter in my Golf R with a 6 speed manual. Several places said that was not possible. He also installed systems in my Audi A3 and A6. All systems worked flawlessly and all with Drone Mobile. Lastly, he installed heated seats in a Pontiac Vibe. Not only did they work great, but you couldnt even tell they were installed aftermarket.

The very best place to get your cars sound system updated. Rick is very professional and works quickly. I updated the head unit on a 2016 subaru forester and the updated unit/dash trim is very clean looking. i have previously changed out my own speakers/head units but after using Sounds Perfect and with how quick Rick is able to order parts, then turn around and get them installed, there is no reason to not just use his services.Would highly recommend!

This guy is abrasive as can be. Very unprofessional(complains and voices disdain for any and everything under the sun), also tried to double the price on a radio he was selling me. Told me $200 for the radio that would take total advantage of the factory sound system. I searched the model number and found it for $100 at more than 3 different stores. For the past 20 years, from when they were located in Macedonia under a different name,I recommended people to this shop. Not anymore. Scratching my head trying to figure out why he and the other guy arent partners anymore🤔

Rick knows his stuff! Got a new head unit at a fair price and installed! Even after an initial hiccup with Kenwood removing features in the latest line of products, Rick was able to get me the model i was looking for and swap out the head unit right away! Even did some requested custom add-ons such as an additional USB charging point, and a custom CarPlay Port. Very professional.

Well, t definitely was a different experience than other places Ive been to. Rick is a cool guy who knows his stuff. Hes very direct, which I personally like. Doesnt beat around the bush kind of guy. Rick took great care of my car. For 300 he installed a great remote start system. He made clear exactly what I was getting, made it way to make an appointment, finished the work on time, and was overall very professional. I would go back to him.

I had Rick install my automatic car starter a few years ago and it is has worked perfectly. Today he installed a rear view backup camera. It took him about 2 hours. Works perfectly. Cost was very reasonable with all labor that was needed. I would recommend him to everyone!

My brother got work done by him last year and said he was amazing and did his work for him fast for and amazing price too! So my brother took me here for an automatic start put in on my car for Christmas and I 100% agree! If you are looking for a fancy showroom or salespeople that follow you throughout that showroom and try to sell you products that you do not need then this is absolutely NOT the place for you. I called Rick and set a time I would meet him here at his Audio shop. The location is a little tough to find and sits on the left side of this building looking at it from the street.I rang the doorbell and Rick greeted me at the door. We talked through the best option that fit the budget we had for a Christmas gift and he put the wheels in motion to order the radio and all parts required for the installation. After the radio arrived (next day), I picked it up so we could wrap it as a gift. Once the holidays were over, Rick was very flexible with appointments and the install work that he completed was impeccable. He did a fantastic job on our kids old subaru forester and I will not hesitate to give him any car audio business I have in the future.

I originally went to sound on wheels for installation of a subwoofer. They are now closed and I see why as they installed my subwoofer terribly and used cheap parts. If there were more than 5 stars, then Sounds Perfect deserves more and earned many more from me. I had a remote start installed in my car in February of 2016. It was a gift from my husband and he chose this place after talking to the owner, Rick, for quite a while. I loved it immediately and use it a bunch in the winter and the summer. With three kids, it has come in very handy. A few days ago, in July 2017, the remote start would not shut off when I took the key out. I had a couple of lights come up on my dash around the same time and after searching Google, it looked like a brake issue. I did not connect the two issues and gave Rick a call. He told me to come in before I had the lights checked by the dealer and he would look at it, but did not think it was the remote start. He said that maybe he could save me some money from the dealer diagnosing the problem. Rick checked the remote start and it was not the issue, but he did not stop there. He figured out all of my brake lights were out, and then tested every fuse in my vehicle. After the fuses tested okay, he removed my brake switch and realized it was not installed correctly. He fixed this and then my remote start worked, my brake lights worked, and the lights on the dash turned off. He gave me over an hour of his time and wouldnt take any money from me. I would have spent a lot of money taking this to the dealer, just for the diagnostic test, and Rick did this to help a one-time customer from a year and a half ago and his product and installation had nothing to do with the problem. There are so many places that I take my car that I feel uncomfortable as they are trying to sell me their product, speak over my head, or know that I know nothing about cars so I can be taken advantage of. Rick is knowledgeable and is a certified mechanic. It is one of the first times in my life where I felt I was being spoken to in a truly honest way from someone who fixes cars. He was persistent in trying to find and fix the problem because that is the kind of guy he is. There are good people in the world! Rick is one of them and I will continue to support his business whenever I can.

Despite the difficulty of adapting a state-of-the-art in-mirror, camera/compass/temp system to my 5 yr old SUV, Rick persevered! I am now enjoying a quality aftermarket, rear view camera system which rivals the original equipment option of todays vehicles. Great Job!Bruce Budinger

Rick did a fantastic job installing my dual BlackVue dash cam with ultra battery pack + drone mobile car starter. I couldnt be happier! I recently purchased an audio upgrade for my Saab 9-3 convertible and could not be happier with the service that I received. The knowledge and customer service here is unbelievable! He took the sound system in my kenworth that a installer put in at Gaffney sc which I went back to 3 times because it didnt sound good and they said they fixed but didnt but I went to Rick at sounds perfect and bought some focal speakers and 600 watt kenwood amp plus fixed the wiring the other guys messed up and its incredible the sound is fantastic . So clear just truly amazing the sound difference trust me its worth the money to see this guy

Ive been around custom stereos since my first car 32 years ago. Back in the day I felt comfortable putting in my own car stereo system. As long as it was louder....everything worked....and nothing caught on fire; I felt successful. LOL. With all of the modern technology and my lack of knowledge on current car audio I felt it was time to call in a professional. My 2010 FJ Cruiser was due for an audio ear lift. The sound was terrible. I had done a bit of research on-line to find out what other FJ owners had done and took a few of my ideas to the owner Rick to see if they made sense. Rick helped me put together a plan on where he felt updates were needed the most. Unlike most shops who push their customers into buying their marked up components Rick was completely comfortable installing speaker that I purchased somewhere else. The job included installing speakers into non-stock locations but made to look like they were factory. Along with that, Rick went through the rest of my existing speakers and added baffles were needed. Once the mids and highs were complete it was evident the subs needed to be replaced. Unfortunately many of the box-store speakers are made to appear as if they rate just as good as professional grade speaker. Im a victim of purchasing subs that on-line appear to be top of the line.... Rick steered me into a set of Focal P25 Fs with dual voice coils ran at 1 ohm... OMG. What a difference!! This was the perfect match for the mids/highs. After the job was installed Rick took the time to tune the system to my taste of music. Its hard to find companies like Sounds Perfect who take the time to do the job the right way with the customers best interests in mind.

Got a Kenwood KDC-BT565U system installed in my Older 2003 Land Rover Discovery. Needed something that was I-phone compatible, got allot more than I expected for a very reasonable and very fair price.I am very happy with it!Many other places that I had searched and inquired to said that I would be in it for allot of $ if I wanted to update the system, and what turned me away was their very little knowledge of my vehicle, and of course the high price.I no longer needed the old system and since my teen daughter will be the primary driver we needed to update the system. A quick search for a local business that does this kind of work I found Sounds Perfect Car Audio. Local and close to home I decided to call in and check to see if I could find something that would hook up to my existing radio and run music from our phone.Stopped in and had the owner check out my system and found out that he could install a new Kenwood CD-Receiver with USB system that would not only run the music through the phone but Bluetooth, Pandora, iheart radio and sirius.All work was done professionally and in a timely manner, made a nice clean setup, looks perfect! I appreciate things like this with the personal touch, pride and workmanship.To make a long story short I would recommend this place for car audio and much more, I will defiantly be setting up an additional appt. in the near future for some other things needed for our Land Rover.

Fast service. Upfront about pricing and what to expect.

I have been going to Don and now Rick for years and have always had great service and have loved the products they have sold/installed for me. I have purchased subs, speakers, amps, head units, and multiple sets of HiDs for all my cars. These guys carry top of the line products and do an amazing job when it comes to giving the expert advice needed when deciding on the right stuff to buy. Theyve always pointed me in the right direction and I trust that I am in good hands (which isnt always the case when it comes to aftermarket installers). Plus I am very OCD about my cars so someone treating the car like its their own when it comes to installation means the world to someone like me!!!Recently I was having issues with the HIDs in my new Chrysler 200s AWD 3.6. I had them do the headlights and the fogs. They worked good for a little while, but then I started having major issues. Come to find out that its basically the computer system in my car after Rick and I looked into everything! I honestly cant say enough about how much Rick hooked me up in getting this thing right. He switched out 4 ballasts and upgraded them all, rewired the fogs, put in a power supply off the battery, and he didnt charge me for any of his time because he just wanted to get it right for me! And I know Im not the only one hes done that for as I have a bunch of friends of mine that have gone to these guys for years as well and wont go anywhere else. I dont write many reviews ever, but after all the great work this place has done for me and after all the efforts Rick put into getting my lights right...think they earned this one!!

Complete hack installed radio in truck steering wheel controls dont work music only coming out of the driver door instead of all four doors installed another radio on a 2008 charger never finished it still doesnt have the AM FM radio cuz he didnt buy the right adapter for it still unfinished 6 months later he buys refurbished radios and put them in brand new boxes & sells refurbish stereos and equipment at full price worst audio place in Ohio PERIOD.

Very unprofessional Cuts Corners to get the job done had the nerve to insult me by saying my $900 Pioneer radio was junk tried to sell me a used amp wiring kit with pinched RCA jacks I would not recommend this place to anyone Why Pay top dollar for subpar work in my opinion its nothing like it use to be I miss car audio & Beyond!!
