First, this company is expensive. Even considering purchasing two top end doors it was still expensive. We told ourselves that for high-quality it is worth it. The glass sliding patio door did not close properly following install. The double french style doors came with the wrong window pack installed, white grids and not the brown as we were sold. Apparently they did not come in the brown grids that match the door and this was the fault of the sales person, so they just sent white instead, which obviously did not match. There were also several areas on the door where paint was scraped off, especially around the glass pack. You could literally take your fingernail and scrape paint off the door. Keep in mind this is the highest end Homeguard HGI door that they sell and state it is stained and built by Amish. The trim was also not flush with the wall with huge gaps on both the double door and sliding door following install. When voicing my concerns with the general manager regarding multiple issues and their reluctance to replace anything, I was spoken down to and told Prairie Home Alliance always stands by their customers. A person who specializes in quality came out a few times and agreed with our concerns and thought the sliding door was actually warped. Over a month later a new glass pack with no grids finally arrived and was installed. We were refunded the difference in price. A representative from Homeguard also came out regarding the chipped paint on the door. He was adamant it was still stained. The solution to this was a small bottle of paint that he said we could use to touch up the door ourselves. We were horrified by this. Thousands of dollars later and a door that easily scratches and another that is warped. Several months later and we still have not heard anything about the warped door or the poor install where all the trim has huge gaps between the wall on both doors. In summary, avoid this company at all costs. This is not Peoria Siding and Window where you paid more, but received high quality. This is Prairie Home Alliance where you still pay a lot, but get sub par products and horrible installs.

Came to my house and was professional enough. Talked a very big game but greatly failed to follow through. Wanted to establish themselves in my area, but I wouldn’t recommend this outfit to anyone.

Have used them in the past with great results. But called for a bid and no one called me for over a week wanting to schedule a bid. I understand waiting weeks for work to be completed, but not waiting over a week for an estimate. Hired a different contractor and works taking place right now!

Canceled initial appointment after confirming a date and all “all our products arrived”. Called to cancel appointment two days later saying “all of our products are not in”. Vac day wasted. Moved out installation date and arrived with broken sink and glass doors designed for a shower, they were installing a tub... put off a full week while we wait on the correct, unbroken parts to arrive, but the shower was done. Shower pressure is minimum, cold water. Thanks! So, to date, no sink, no vanity, no lights in my only bathroom. We had a two day work time estimate. Called with concerns, but was only given excuses/reasons why it won’t work. He did offer to get someone out to hang a light and correct the tub, but honestly too frustrated and told him forget it, see you in a week when our stuff is in. Now in the process of hiring someone to fix it in the mean time that can do what they say they will do. Good installers, manager is incompetent and hard to work with. I don’t want excuses. I want it fixed. We payed their inflated price to avoid sub-standard service, yet here we are. Garbage.

When building your sunroom project, why settle for anything else than a real Four Seasons sunroom? We highly recommend this contract for your custom sunroom, a beautiful room!

I LOVE our new windows. We only had 4 of the 11 we need replaced done this year, but we will have them all done with in the next few. This is our second home and the second time weve used this company. In our first home we had them replace our living room window and our slider. They were great, but honestly we thought they were too pricey and could find a better deal. So, we bought windows and hired a contractor to install the rest. It was only cheaper INITIALLY- then the wood around the windows rotted from incorrect installation. Another contractor was hired to fix them. We probably ended up spending more. Lesson learned. As much as Id love to have all the windows finished now, I know its more important to wait for quality. They are worth their prices.

We are very happy with Peoria Siding and Window company. A solid company with decades of experience with all products backed by their 100 percent satisfaction guarantee. We are thankful for Lou in sales who has ensured our satisfaction even after the sale. We will be returning to them for more work in the future. Thank you!

We bought a house with their windows installed. two windows are broken and we have been working with the company due to the warranty since winter. They have come out with the wrong size glass twice. Almost summer and we are still waiting! I will not be using them for my future remodel. I would not recommend paying the extra money for this company if it takes them this long to repair windows. For a company this size it is truly disappointing. Your better off using a local contractor.

I wanted to make the exterior of my home maintenance free and wanted my three bathrooms redone. I searched for a company that could meet all my needs. I chose Prairie Home Alliance because of price, services offered, quality of products, and quality of installation. I couldnt have been happier with my decision. I had new siding on the front of my house, new exterior doors, new front porch trim, new roof, new gutters with gutter guard, new replacement windows and trim around the windows -- all on the outside of my house. On the inside I had all three on my bathrooms redone -- scopes varying from wall paper removal, new paint, new countertop and faucet to complete demolition and rebuild of the other two bathroom -- flooring, bathtub & shower, toilets, walls, exhaust fans, cabinets, countertops, faucets and all new hardware. Their expertise in interior design and coordination of all projects inside and out helped make the projects much easier for my wife and me. I highly recommend Prairie Home Alliance for anyone who wants quality products and quality workmanship. They are the best.
