The staff is not only exceptional but incredibly knowledgeable. Their turn around time is usually less than 2 hours. I was impressed by their attention to detail and their affordable pricing models. I hope not to need phone or tablet repairs in the future, but if I do theyll always be my go to professionals.

Everything was done just as promised. Because I pay for insurance monthly, my deductible to replace my screen was only $29 (I believe its more if there is more damage beyond a cracked screen). In just two hours, which felt like forever without my phone, my beautiful Note 20 Ultra was restored and the in-screen fingerprint scanner still works perfectly 🥰 The staff was very easygoing and professional. Hopefully I wont have to go back anytime soon but I wont freak out as much next time, knowing these guys are around.

So initially my experience was not a good one and I reacted to what I thought was misinformation given to me by an employee named John over the phone. I left angrily vowing to never return and to advise everyone I knew to avoid like the plague. But I went back to get clarification and after meeting with John found out the mistake was on my end and after graciously accepting my profuse apology John went above and beyond to provide excellent customer service. He even helped me sign up for a protection plan which eventually helped me save hundreds. A real stand up guy and a great place to do business! Thank-you John!

Just took in my iPhone 6 to have the broken screen repaired. They got me in and out. Told me it would take ~2hrs. and it took a little less than that. Picked up my phone, the screen looks great and the phone (touch functionality) works perfectly. Will definitely be visiting them again for electronic repairs.

I brought in a fully functioning iPhone for an aesthetic repair (cracked screen). I got back a phone with a screen that kept popping out and cracked when I put it in its case, Siri barely working, and a broken heat sensor that doesn’t recognize when my face is against/away from the phone.In addition to the $179 I paid to have the screen “fixed“, they wanted an additional $70, reduced to $40 after multiple calls, to keep poking around the phone and replace the screen again, with no guarantee that doing so would resolve the issues that their initial “fix” introduced. By this logic, they’re incentivized to give you back a broken phone.Everyone acts friendly, but it’s clear that they don’t stand by the quality of their glass or repairs. In addition to the $179, it looks like I now need to buy a new iphone.Minor irritant—the glass they replace your screen with also holds oil/ fingerprints and is permanently streaky. They’re clearly using a cheaper product than Apple.

She voiced her sympathy for me and was completely understanding of the level of urgency I exude. She quoted me a 2 hour repair in which I dined in for lunch at the neighboring restaurant during the wait time. Upon my return, my phone was complete and the repair was immaculate! This is the best electronics repair shop in DC. Attentive, knowledgeable, and very reasonably priced. Came to uBreakiFix with a phone speaker issue with Galaxy S9: phone volume extremely low. An AT&T rep indicated speaker gone and new phone was my only option; I had purchased the phone a little over a year ago. UFIB rep examined and determined the speaker grill was clogged and was able to unclog it. Truly appreciated her honesty and professionalism! Would definitely recommend UBIF!!

Scam. Did not follow 24-48 hour call back promise - I had to call myself. Did not have the appropriate tools to properly test and diagnose. Returned product unfixed, saying they can’t figure it out because they do not have something a a spare power supply to test. Upon pickup, informing me that they could do nothing, they tried to sell me an insurance plan (for a product they can’t fix). Waste of a $50 diagnostic test. Wouldn’t not recommend even to my worst of enemies.

They fixed a laptop screen that I thought wasnt fixable. It took about 2 weeks however and was a bit pricey.

Wasted my time asking for and getting excuses to relace a Samsung Galaxy A70 battery. Replacing it instead in Las Vegas with a T-Mobile affiliate that replaced my A70 T-Mobile primary cell battery.

Getting your phone fixed unexpectedly is never a fun (or cheap) endeavor. While I was THRILLED that the cracked screen could be fixed, I fear my overall experience was jaded by dealing with a newer employee. While very kind, she wasnt well versed, and I observed other colleagues who were. (While waiting in line, it was apparent that other discounts were being applied, and/or costs being waived for customers.) So, based on sticker shock, I too inquired and even found discount codes to bring in upon pickup. Instead of honoring them or coming out to discuss with me, I overheard the staff talking about me (with frustration) behind the screen. If there is something specific to my device type, it would be helpful to know and having a more articulate conversation with someone better versed. While Im grateful to get my device fixed, I think I would find a different location.

I contacted this company at the recommendation from Samsung Warranty to repair my Galaxy Z Fold 2. They didnt have the correct products in stock not were they helpful. The person answering the phone was a smarty pant with very little knowledge about my device. He had to ask another colleague what type of phone did I have! I wouldnt recommend this company for phone repair even if they operate with your cell phone warranty!

When I went in there the other day like last week. No one told me that I had to put a deposit down for them to fix my product. Y’all Need 2 Train You’re Employees over. They don’t tell that me about the deposit if they don’t have the part in the store. This location is convenient for me.

I took a Google phone to be repaired and they wouldnt uphold the warranty and I was actually lied to by a female representative that said they would charge me first and the warranty would refund me. So its a no from me. I would rather have been told they wouldnt uphold the warranty and pay than to be lied to.

I’m a bit late posting my review of this business. I just want to say that my experience was beyond pleasant. A employee or manager; I think their name began with a J or a G was so very helpful. I was so pleased that I decided to also buy a glass screen to go on top of my new fixed screen. They applied it perfectly along with fixing my broken screen. An hr after I dropped my phone off, I came back and was advised to go out and buy a phone case that extends beyond my glass screen. (I did just that.) I don’t have any photos, but if your electronic is broken THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO! They do a full diagnostic. You won’t be disappointed.Call beforehand to make sure the location you’re traveling to has the part your phone needs. My journey started on 7th Street NW and I had to drive to 8th Street SE to that location because they had my iPhone screen replacement in stock. Stay healthy everyone! 😁

I had the hard drive on my computer upgraded. I picked my computer up after they finished with it and when I got home, I realized that my computer wasn’t working. They didn’t check my computer to make sure that it was actually working before they gave it to me, and I had to make an hour round trip for them to replace a cable. The supervisor made excuses and appeared unapologetic about it.In addition, I would get different answers from whoever answered the phone whenever I called about the status of my computer. They didn’t call back when they said they would after having my computer for nearly a week. I brought this up to the supervisor, and again, she made excuses and appeared unapologetic.Finally, they didn’t transfer all of my pictures from my old hard drive to my new one, and when I asked about the details of it, they didn’t even know If everything had been transferred. I would have at least wanted to know from them if they didn’t or couldn’t transfer all of my tranferable data without having to find out for myself. I ended up buying an adapter and transferring the pictures from the old hard drive myself because I didn’t want to have to make yet another trip there and deal with them any longer.

My PS4 dropped from its mounting space on my wall, no provocation, while watching my favorite movie Kill Bill. The disc drive broke and wouldnt accept or release discs. I was told it could take 3 to 5 days for the repair, so no COD Warzone, no Fortnite or any streaming services..... Ugggh. Forward 2hrs later and I get a call that my console is ready to be picked up and is working fine. I am truly happy, thankful, and excited the repair came up shorter than the time I was told. The repair was less than what was quoted, and the guys were concise and professional when dealing with me and the kids at the shop. Life is good, especially when you have your source for streaming and gaming!!

Upon drop-off of my laptop, although the staff were courteous, it took nearly 1/2 hr to be seen, and only 2 customers were before me. When they called me the next day with an estimate, they stated 50% would need to be deposited at the store before they could begin work. This wasnt told to me when I dropped it off, nor could they take my credit card over the phone, so I had to go there once again just to pay the deposit. The repair was done in a timely manner, but when I got my device home, I found they hadnt fully secured the bottom, some screws were loose. So far its working well, but its only been a few days.

Had no idea this place existed until I broke my screen for n my phone. Verizon said I should go here and once I found it I was glad I did. I was serviced right away and was in and out with in a half hour. It didn’t even cost that much. The staff was really friendly too. Thank you!!

They did a battery replacement for me, but when I got my phone back the speakers didnt work. When I called them, they tried to pass it off as a bug with my phone manufacturer. I dropped it off for them to look at b/c I was convinced it was NOT a coincidence. The technician had overlooked plugging something in. They tried to pass it off that I might have dropped it and jostled it. Not true. Just take ownership of your mistakes. The battery replacement worked great, but please, please check your phone speakers, head phone jack, etc before you leave there.

My laptop was not charging I took it in they said there was an issue and that they fixed it I get it back but it was still broken I call them the next day and they told me they already did their job and that they will be courteous and take a second look...businesses these days are getting entitled it is unfortunate to see that in a small business setting too. I paid you 60 dollars under the pretense that you fixed the issue you were not being courteous to me by lying to me because guess what you did not fix it and I am 60 dollars down now. If you could not fix it then it is fine just state so instead of taking my money on false pretense.

They have you make an appointment and list the your phone and the part you need. When I arrived, paid for parking, and waited 30 minutes, they said the part had to be ordered and would take 3 business days...

I am nervous using any service that isnt the Apple Store for my iPhone. However, I was in a pinch and they were close by. My phone was DOA - screen was hanging by a cable and they got me all fixed up. When I needed another repair months later at the Apple store they had no idea anyone else had worked on the phone. Great service.
