Nice place to meet up or get work done. The spot and the fire is warm with comfy chairs. Expanded covered, outdoor area is heated and functional in all but the hottest or coldest weather. Drinks are what you’d expect of a decent shop.

Whats okay about this place is the decor and community aspect of it. The drinks and employees were not very good.Hopefully I went in on off day (Sunday morning). The woman working the register sounded miserable. Not friendly, she made you feel unwelcome and like you were interrupting her conversation with the barista.I ordered a blended drink and it was absolutely terrible. I threw it away because I did not want a confrontation with the woman that made it. I ordered a specialy latte with oat milk and with tip it was $8. Check out the size of it.LOL.Definitely wont be back!

Its not a terrible place. The coffee is decent. I enjoy the shop vibe for what it is. However no one seems to be on the same page when it comes to drink sizes. Sometimes when you order a small you get 12oz other times you get 8oz. Sometimes you order a medium and get 12oz and the other times you get 16oz.

Between plenty of seating, free wifi, a large and varied coffee menu, board games (I think they still have them), it feels like a big chain place, but maintains that small town comfort.I have only had coffee here and wait… I usually try something new every time I go. I don’t always love the new ones I pick but how could you not want Snickerdoodle coffee?! They offered quite some fun combinations of flavors for wild tasting coffees.Overall, a really nice and cozy coffee place. They have one of those ‘stand alone’ shacks also in Washington, so if you are in a rush, you can go there and stay in your car while getting some deliciousness in your belly. Definitely a recommended place if you love coffee and are in the Central Illinois area.

First time there for me. Coffee was pretty good, but girl behind the counter didnt seem to knowledgeable. Wont say more. Kind of pricy when two regular 12 oz cups and two small muffins cost over 10 dollars. I can say I gave them a try, but nothing to scream about in my opinion.

Very nice place to get good coffee and a small bite to eat. Staff is extremely friendly and quick at getting your drinks to you. Coffee flavor is nice without the burnt flavor other places have at times. The seating area is very warm and inviting with nice decorations and atmosphere. I recommend it as an office on the go for traveling business people.

The staff are always amazing. The coffee is delicious. Ive been going for years and always order an Iced Mocha with extra espresso. The prices have increased the last couple of years a bit higher then other places around the area. But other the that, a wonderful environment and a great staff.

The service was slow and they got my order wrong. On top of that the pumpkin scone I ordered was severely lacking in any pumpkin taste. Their chai tea lattes taste like warm milk with a splash of chai. My wife was on the square, not with me, and ended up at another coffee shop in town with a chai tea. It tasted MUCH better, she gave me a sip.This isnt our first visit either. All three times, the chai tea lattes were severely lacking in flavor.Were going to the other place from now on.

The Blend is an excellent local coffee shop. Even though my family doesn’t live in Washington we will frequently take a 20 minute road trip to have some. There are many specialty drinks that we like. My wife loves the Heath Bar latte. If you are in for something very unique try the Mayan Mocha. It has a great balance ofSweet and Spicy. It has a really relaxed atmosphere great for families and groups. A must try!

First, the decor is very corporate looking but it is inviting and comfortable. Next, the coffee beans are in simple bags along the wall opposite the pos, neatly displayed and labeled with a brief flavor description. There is a display case full of goodies and treats which are averaged priced and some commercially packaged items. While we were there to pick up a new coffee for an espresso grind I was impressed with the barrista who was very helpful and sincerely cheerful. We left with a breakfast blend for home and a moraccan (?) drink - which was ok but not my usual type of beverage selection. We did notice a few of younger folks on their tablets/laptops enjoying their purchases inside the business and several people outside on the fairly new patio. I would definitely recommend a visit to the Blend.

Love the vibe here. Great place to grab a drink to go or sit and spend time with a friend. We love their in house roasted beans. My husband requests their single origin beans on a regular basis. We enjoy Sumatra, Honduran, Guatamala and others. They also have blends and flavors. I personally go for the decaf and have always loved their coffee.

The Blend is cozy, friendly hometown café with well made coffee drinks, teas, and food items. They also offer coffee by the bag either as whole beans or they can grind them for you in addition to homemade tea blends. The staff is personable and friendly. The owner, Yvonne, cares about her customers and goes above and beyond to offer a warm, comfortable environment. As if the café isnt enough, she also has The Blend Express, a drive through kiosk. Whenever youre in town I recommend stopping in.

Great place to grab an average cup of overpriced coffee and a bit of Covid as you’re dining indoors, violating the rules. Yes, their parking lot is full so don’t worry about stale coffee. Nothing slows them down, not even stay at home orders and bands on indoor dining. Nope, just like the mail, they’ll always be there, serving up capitalism, 1 cup at a time.

*First time coming here*I got an iced caramel latte and it was DELICIOUS! Fast service, polite staff, plenty of seating (and outlets!). Definitely a good spot to study or catch up with an old friend. Highly recommend stopping by!

Didn’t like the fact that I had to spend 7 or 8 dollars just to get a cup of coffee because there is now a minimum amount required to spend to use a debit card. I got my receipt emailed to me and the price of the coffee was priced different on the receipt then it said on the menu. Left a comment via the online receipt and never heard back.

Great place! Great coffee! Great people!HOWEVER, yesterday (April 9, 2020), I went in to get a latte. They wouldn’t accept cash! But YET, they had a tip jar sitting on the counter containing......CASH!She said it was because of the COVID pandemic that they wouldn’t accept cash. If they become a “cashless” business—-they will go OUT OF BUSINESS!I will guarantee it! And I will see to it!Cash needs to ALWAYS be accepted, everywhere! If not, we are ALL in trouble! People, you do NOT want a cashless society!

Good drinks and customer service.

Simply one of the best places to get coffee. Roasted in house several times a week, it is always fresh and very aromatic. The espresso is a nice flavor so roast and likens to the original. Flavored drinks are artfully crafted and with pride and respect for the coffee. One of the staff members does an excellent job of creating new and unique coffee experiences on a regular basis. Do not pass up the opportunity to partake in one of the best espressos in the country.

I havent had a bad experience here yet, and Ive been going for years. Love the atmosphere, the people and the coffee! They also have a good selection of teas. Its my favorite place to do homework or meet a friend to catch up. They also have a little drive through down the street if you are in a hurry and just need a fix. They baristas are phenomenal and also polite.

I love this coffee shop! I’ve been going up here since they opened and it’s really nice and cozy inside. They have board games and magazines that are free to use. They also have amazing coffee. I love their lattes. They also sell coffee and tea by the bag which is nice. I have never tried their baked goods, but I simply go there to get away from the distractions at home and get some homework done. It’s always very clean in there and quiet, but it can get noisy during busier hours. The more is plenty of seating between the booths, tables, lounge chairs and bar. I am happy that this place is in Washington because it’s so close to home. It’s also a Christian coffee shop, but they don’t force it down your throat so everyone is welcome. Also, the WiFi is free!

I’ve been fortunate to to be able to experience coffee from the west coast of America to the heart of Germany. And this is easily one of the best places I’ve ever set foot in, overall. They are super kid friendly, with a quiet atmosphere and a real focus on getting your order the way you want it. If you’re in the area, this is the place to get your coffee.

I have been going to the blend for years. They just updated their look and I love it. Its probably one of the best places to drink coffee and be productive. The booths are practically small office spaces. It is also an incredible place to go and meet up with friends. I visit every time I come through Washington.

I prefer Verena Street coffee from the store to the house blends here, just too bitter for my tastes. I do enjoy their iced cappuccino though. Great place to hang out and talk/meet with friends.

Stopped at The Blend for a quick pick me up. The espresso drinks were pretty strong compared to other coffee shops Ive been to, but it had a great taste. The drinks are a little pricey for the size, but due to the strength of the taste, it evens out. Would recommend to anyone looking for a good coffee spot.

Fantastic place for a latte and a light bite. Multiple espressos to choose from for your specialized drink, homemade syrups and they use local farm ingredients. Highly recommend the Spicy Brown Sugar Latte (has cayenne on top, so not for the meek-hearted, but its not over-powering) and the Mediterranean cup (ask for a boat or plate to put it in). Friendly staff and warm community are always inviting. Diamond in the rough for a coffee snob from the PNW.

The blend is the best coffee shop around. I personally drive from another town that has multiple coffee shops, just to come get their coffee. Between the lattes, blenders and smoothies its hard to pick what to choose because it is all so delicious. You cant leave without buying some of their delicious coffee beans that they roast themselves! The space is so nice and cozy and they even have board games to play too! If you want make it in to the blend. Right down the road there is a blend express! If you havent given this place a try, you are missing out!

For paying almost $6 for a 16 oz mocha frappe, I expected it to be really good. It was watery and had very little flavor. Not going there again. For a dollar cheaper I will stay in Morton at Elis or Breaking Grounds.

This IS the place to get coffee! I have traveled far and wide and tried so many kinds of coffee and here is this gem in my hometown!!! They have everything you need from sweet drinks to stunning single origin and blend coffees. They can prepare it any way youd like and have a tremendously knowledgeable and fun staff. They sell great pastries and snacks as well as coffee by the bag. If you need a sugary sticky sweet drink or a neat cup of dark italian style espresso this IS the place to go!

The Blend in Washington, IL is the best coffee shop I have ever been to. Every time I come in the staff is exceptional. I had some dietary restrictions for a while and the baristas were always so patient with me answering questions and never rushing me through to help the next customer. I enjoy the calm atmosphere and everybody who enters is treated like family when you are at the Blend.

I do not like their coffee at all. The espresso taste like cigarettes. I always try it one more time to see if its better and its not. Their tea is ok. Everytime I get tea it always has a lot of chunks in it from the loose leaf which is not something you want to drink. I love the atmosphere but the drinks are not enjoyable.

I stopped in on a Friday morning. The music seemed a little too loud but my friend and I still had a great conversation over some coffee. I ordered a 12oz. anise & maple latte for $3.75. Order it without the whipped cream and youll great to see the baristas great pouring skills. It was delicious and the price was great. It was busy but our service was fast and friendly.

This place is really nice they always have beautiful paintings on their walls and most of the employees are the nicest. They have free WI-FI which I wish I could use on my laptop but for some reason wont work. I really love the way they painted the walls. :)
