The store was absolutely great. It had a great supply of all the latest clothing and shoes. Kickk Spott also had a great team of employees, always helping when they can. Would definitely recommend!

Terrible experience at Kickkspott, been waiting for my payment now since December 29th with no response to any text or calls with Vic. Tells you a sad story about how they were robbed by previous employees and that many of their client have been stolen by those employees to open up another store. They try to make you feel bad, and attempt to get you back with telling you lies on how this time it will be different, and that Vic him self will now manage your account. You attempt to text him with no response, and no answer to phone calls. They sold my shoes LAST YEAR and just informed me when I came in to pick my items up. Even had the nerves to text me about bringing in more shoes. I really want to support Kickkspott, but it’s tough when you have these types of experience consistently happening to not just me, but others as well. I hope they get it together, but they are so behind on paying people I doubt I will ever get my money or even my product back. I am owed 500+ plus items that are left there. The last time, it took more then 3 months to get a payment and even that was like pulling teeth. To take them to small claims court is a waste since they don’t even have the means to pay now, so even if you win, they can’t even pay that. You can tell business is failing by them renting parts of their store as well as trying to set the illusion that the new “studio” they make will make them profit. Should have taken that money and reinvest in your business. Store is started to look dated, cameras and tv’s are old, and they barely have client for all the mess they have created. I’m sorry but until I receive my payment I will not recommend Kickkspott to any person to work with or purchase. When I give you the chance to rectify your mistake and you continue to keep making the same mistake, I rather cut my losses. You could train a monkey to answer the phone and send emails, yet at Kickkspott they have yet to figure that out. Honestly it’s probably cause they are so behind on paying people that can’t answer any calls or text cause they simply don’t have funds. I was a customer... they sold my shoes and never contacted me... they dont answer phone calls or emails! I had to go to the new location in Atlanta to speak to Vic he was very helpful and made sure i was paid. If I do decide to shop with them I will deal directly with Vic

The Better Business Bureau says it all. F. I’ve had nothing but negative experiences here. Sold a pair of shoes in 2016, am owed $1800, and can never seem to get payment. Managers and staff are well versed in excuses, and seem to project their failing business’ problems on the customers and sellers. Have been to the store numerous times for payment, and am given the run-around each and every time. They have a good selection, but prices are substantially higher than any other markets. Sellers should avoid this place. I’d advise buyers to avoid too, considering how poorly this store treats its own stockists. Involved the police on one of our run-ins with these scumbags, and will escalate to small claims court. At a glance, many others have had similar problems. Interested in class action, and would like to see this business right all those it has wronged, or shut down indefinitely.

Great store. Stopped by on a trip, and my experience was phenomenal. Very nice staff, genuinely good people who love to talk about shoes. Sold me some Air Cruz Trainers for a fair price (what you would expect at a consignment store) and then even let me hold some Nike Yeezys! Amazing store with great product and people too!

I would not recommend going here. I bought a pair of shoes that ended up fitting too tight. I went back the next day to return them but they said I HAD to put them on Consignment, but that they would sell them in no time. Its been four months and I havent heard anything from them. This place is a shady dollar store flight club. I understand DC doesnt have many hypbeast stored but to honest if your not In NYC or LA just use stockx or goat. They have much better prices and you wont get scammed unlike here. I gave them two stars because the employee is fairly nice.

Since 2012 I have done multiple consignments a the Georgetown location. I’ve never had any problems picking up funds or shoes that have or haven’t sold after the 45 day agreement they have in place. I hope for the sake of the business & clients that have supported them over the years instead of using eBay, Goat, & stock X that they fix the issues & immediately!

My overall experience over at Kickkspott was outstanding! The staff there are very attentive and courteous. I absolutely loved the store layout, the store itself is just great.. I definitely plan to shop here again.-Next time youre in Georgetown, check this place out. I would definitely recommend it!

I have done business on consignment with them before that went smooth, but I guess they are not handling the expansion very well. I put some shoes on consignment about 6 months ago and never received email, call or text letting me know that my shoes sold (they had done this in the past). So I just assumed that they were still on the shelves. When I stopped by to pick them up, because at that point I couldve moved them a lot faster, I was told the shoes had been sold a while back and given a payout date that was over a month from then. I dont know if there is new management or what but I have been seeing and hearing a lot of stories with them doing some bad business etiquette. Someone needs to step in a give them some structure.

Do not do business with this place. I put sneakers on consignment at their Atlanta location in February of 2017. It is February 2018 and I have not been paid in full yet. They will ignore your phone calls and make any excuse on why they cant pay you when you approach them in store. Over the year, I have spoke with a Brandon, Loso, Vick and an Alexander Gonzalez. All of them have presented themselves as managers of the store and promise theyll take care of you but none of them know proper business etiquette. Alexander Gonzalez was the last manager I spoke with and I have yet to receive my remaining balance on my sneakers that were sold months ago. He keeps promising new payout dates but does not deliver. This company and its staff is trash. Stay away if you dont want to be robbed of your sneakers. You are better off doing consignment with a more reputable store or selling your sneakers online.

It was pretty great. I ended getting a t-shirt that was not even out yet for $30. The only bad part was everything was $5 overpriced. A employee gave me a $10 supreme sticker for free and spent 10min trying to find it!Great Store very hype

This place is a scam. They never respond back to any emails plus, they don’t have a phone number. I should have read previous reviews on this place but that was my mistake. This is the worst experience I’ve ever had with shoes. They purposely sold my for lower than what I requested so I got 3 quarters back of what I was selling them for. Then, they never sent my money from the shoes to me. I am still waiting but pretty soon I’m taking this company to court.If I could, I’d give them 0 stars

This has been a nightmare trying to get my money/shoes from these guys after consigning with them. Theyve had my shoes for more than 2 and a half years and been trying to chase down the remaining amount due to me since this summer, they just defer and give empty promises of, oh, youll get your funds next week/tomorrowSeems like they just sell your shoes and instead of taking the 20% that was agreed upon and giving you back the other 80%, they are comfortable keeping the whole amount, and probably spent it.Bad business, bad ethics, I dont want to say more.All I can say now, is Im very disappointed in this place, and makes me feel like I cant trust people anymore, Thanks

Let me tell you something, Never in my life has a employee wiped my crutch because it was wet.Then after he wiped my crutch everyone in the store was so HELPFUL greatest customer support Ive ever had. That was my 3rd time visiting and every single time I come in there I feel so welcomed and so helped. Like they make you want to be there friends because its impossible not to like them. If you a consumer looking to get a shoe that is no longer in circulation and wiling to pay (above) the resale price point, then by all means.However, my one star is not for the purchasing side of the store, it is for the selling side. They do not answer their phone, EVER, and when I showed up, I was told that my shoe was sold, but had to come back in 10 days to receive payment. I came back, and STILL didnt get paid. As I type this review, I now have to travel from work all the way to Georgetown because it is the only way to speak to anyone. They dont respond on social media, or phone.This is a consignment shop, meaning they are basically in business with hundreds of people. How can you in good conscience run a store that gives ZERO interaction with business partners? Im on the verge of reviewing my contract, getting a copy, and handing it to a lawyer.

Terrible place! I went there to sell some kicks and the guy told me he would have my $270 for me the next Friday. It has been almost two weeks since that Friday he stated I would have my money and I’ve had no contact with him. He has ignored over 3 phone calls and 7 text messages asking what the hold up is. Horrible to do business with and complete scam/waste of time. When you put items up for consignment, expect to wait months before receiving any payment from them. Has happened multiple times with me already and youll talk to multiple people such as Vic, Kelvin, or Alex who all claim they are managers and they will take care of you. Expect to have many excuses as to why you cant be paid on top of numerous texts/calls that will get ignored. They dont update you when things sell and they keep using received money to pay off past people and never have the money to pay current customers off. This is the endless cycle. For example, I am currently owed over 1k now for more than 2 months and keep receiving random excuses every week or so as to why I cannot be paid. Not even paid a little. Just straight up paid nothing at all. Additionally, on a side note, some items have the chance of being fake as no one in the store can actually tell the difference. Several of my friends that have gone to the store with me can point out numerous fake items they are selling with no clue in mind. I can keep going on with how horrible of a business this is, but I think you get the point from my review and everyone elses. At this point, I would advise every to STAY AWAY!!!!

Worst consignment store I have been to the employees lie straight to your face when they will pay you the money from the item they have sold for you. You have to actually go there, waste your time, and then they will tell you not to worry we will pay you on this date. And then they give you their personal phone numbers and say ill take care of this personally and when you call or text them they never reply.The main reason you should NOT go to this place is that they do not pay their customers at all until you pressure them constantly. This is the best sneaker store in the DC are by far! The people there help you out and are very nice (this is from a kid who loves sneakers, and I know way to many people who in the past at other stores have blonw me off like Im nothing). Of course they also have an amazing selection of kicks from retros to older nikes. For all sneaker heads who are in the area I highly recommend this sneaker store.

My Honest Review. I will never use Kickk Spott for consignment ever again due to lack of communication and unresponsive staff.I read the reviews online beforehand but thought that wont be my experience and I will be getting my money back from them in a timely manner.Boy was I WRONG.I went in the store in October 2016 and left my shoes for consignment. From October 2016 to May 2017, I saw them still listed on the website and just thought Ill take the L and just rock them. I went into the store 3 weeks ago and told the representative that i want to pick my shoes up.He comes back saying they sold, Im like what ?, trying not get mad at the fact I havent heard anything nor my PayPal showed a payment received. So then I asked when will I get my payment? He responds saying your payment will be in our next payment schedule and youll receive funds by June 3.So you mean to tell me if I had not come in the store because you dont have a phone for me to call a representative to check my status remotely, I would have never found out about my shoes being sold.Im sure you can guess that when June 3rd came no payment. I emailed them the next day by looking on their twitter account to find an email address because their website does not have contact information.Wow! Were in 2017 and your business does not have contact info on your website or a phone.Im now to the point of taking legal action. Hopefully, they can rectify this problem before it comes to that .Ill recommend them only if you want to BUY shoes anything else stay away.UPDATE June 07, 2017.I saw they posted new merchandise on Twitter and decided to respond with my concern. I check my PayPal and I see funds received. Im not sure if this is because of my tweets or this review, but im happy they corrected the issue.

I used their consignment service to sell two shoes. Kickkspot has 2 week pay out period. Meaning that after your shoes sell, they will pay you out 2 weeks after. I accepted the terms and left my shoes. After 2 months, I had heard nothing from Kickkspott so I assumed my shoes were not sold. Since they dont have any phone number listed(should have been my first sign) I drove there on January 30th with the intent of picking up my shoes and just keeping them. Upon arriving I was told that both my shoes had just sold that past weekend and they were getting ready to contact me, this in itself seemed fishy but I didnt ask anything or make a fuss. I was then told that they could schedule my payment for February 15th, a little over 2 weeks out mind you, and I accepted. On the 15th I got a call and was told that due to some changes in ownership/management my payment will be delayed by 1 week, I was now to be paid on the 22nd. The 22nd came and went and I received no call or payment. I called them on the 23rd, they did not pick up or call me back, they text me with a promise to look into the matter. After I got no call, I called them later that same night, I did not hear back until Saturday the 24th. They text me stating that I will get paid on Monday the 26th. To no little surprise I have not been paid. I got a text at 6 pm stating I will get a call from them soon, big surprise, no call. Their customer service is horrible and I will never use them again and I recommend you dont either. The lack of communication frustrates me more than the lack of payment.

Unfortunately you can’t submit 0 stars. Where to begin, Vic (Victor Montano) who owns and runs the day to day is a legit con artist. If you consign maybe 1-2 items there, they may be legit. If you try and actually conduct business with them, they are not. They recycle the money from legit sellers products into their business, in turn running it like a Ponzi scheme. I’ve known and done business with Vic, Kelvin, & Alex since White Flint. Always courteous, appreciative people. Unfortunately, they expanded too fast or just are horrible business people (&people in general) and decided to stick it to their core customers. I’ve spent lots of money here and sold lots here. Unfortunately, they’ve sold all my product, yet haven’t paid me. It has been over 10 months and all I’ve received is broken promises & lies. Hopefully they get their stuff together, but honestly, untilThey do you would be better dealing with more reputable businesses, ones run by owners with integrity. Integrity & money are two significantly important things for a business. Unfortunately Kickkspott has neither.Edit:Spoke with Vic where he asked me to take this post down. I inquired about the balance that I’m still owed, $580. He advised I was to expect payment September 15 & September 29 to fulfil what I’m owed. Not only have I still not received any payment, but I also am not getting any response to my calls/texts. Just wanting anyone currently or considering doing business with them to know.Edit: 10/10Still no payment. On rare occasions where I’ve been able to contact Vic, I’ve been promised small amounts of money, even for that not to be fulfilled. Vic specifically has handled all my business, yet fails to follow through on not only financial obligations, but just regular & basic communication essentials. Victor Montano and Kickkspott as a whole is a con for sellers. They run their business essentially like a ponzu scheme. What they do is they take product that they have no exposure or expenditure on, then sell it. They take that & instead of recycling their share back into the business, they do it with the whole amount of the sneaker. As a seller, your portion will be used to continue to fund the business, to continue to allow them to post videos, and to continue to fund the crooks running this operation. As they continue with the illusion, they get more people in, more people to support them & more people to donate essentially product that they have no intention of paying back. 100% not legitimate business, would highly advise anyone considering dealing with them to do their due diligence.

I have been trying to collect the $2k that is owed to me for almost four years. They are nothing more than liars and thieves.

So I had some 10.5 Jordan 13 Dirty Breds that I didnt have time to sell, so I figured Id put them up for consignment so I consulted with them and they suggested $300 but I wanted my money back asap so I agreed to $275 selling price knowing they would collect a 20% commission. Well 7 months go by tried to call phone is disconnected, had to drive down to the store. I get there it was a Thursday since consignment payments can only be made mom-thurs. talk to the manger who tells me they have to schedule my payment and that it would be two weeks since they have to schedule my payment. Fine I guess they are strapped for cash, its 19 days later no payment currently entorté to this so called business

Apparently they sold my shoes without letting me know. I only found out because I was in the store and I asked them. Now, I am currently chasing down my money. Ive gone in there multiple times for payment and still havent gotten my money. They say they only do scheduled payments with PayPal or direct deposit so I did that and still they havent paid. Some shady business practices going on there for sure.

It saddens me to have to write this review, but after close to 6 months without payment of a paltry sum of $360, I fear that Victor, Alex and Kelvin have no interest in honoring their obligations. I deem it necessary to leave this message so that other potential consigners can be aware of the inherent risk in trying to do business with Kickk Spot DC.Kickk Spot DC is one of the few streetwear consigners in DC proper. I have sold items through them before and historically they have paid eventually. This time, I have had 3 items remaining on consignment that have sold, they have canceled or delayed payments 6 times already. They are incredibly friendly in person, but they are evasive if they owe you money. They do not respond to texts or calls. I have had to go in numerous times to set up the next payment date, only to have them either cancel or not have funds when I arrive at the store. Each time they have a different excuse, but they have now gone silent.The last time I was in the store, I even tried to work out a payment plan with them where I would purchase items from the store in lieu of cash, but I cant justify spending $125 on a Supreme t-shirt, that is selling for $50 bucks online. I have offered to take receipt of the funds via PayPal, but even that is apparently not a viable option as well.As a devoted DMV sneakerhead who lives in NW, I wanted terribly to have a local shop to rep. These guys have proven to be unreliable, which is such a shame given the power they have in the market. They dont appear to be concerned with doing good business, nor do they have any concerns about their reputation. I hope they get it together, but as of now - I feel obligated (after 6 months of patience) to leave some feedback on how these guys appear to operate currently.I will update this post if something changes (and they do pay), but I dont currently see it happening. Tread very carefully in this shop if you are looking to do business with them.

I purchased the retro 4 Oreos the staff was verry helpful they let me try on sizes till I got the correct one and the the pricing was nice better store then major right beside of it

Ive been consigning with them for almost a year, and been to the store at least 25 times asking for my payout. But they always always postpone it. Saying that PayPal is not working or the havent made enough money in the day and just lie in your face but when they pay you it takes months and months just a really bad experience in my end. they always say that they are under new management and any other excuse you can think of. I highly recommend you consign your thinks somewhere else like shopblesssed,coolkicksva, goat, stockx or any other one. The consignment deal was they get 20% I get 80% it seems like they get 100%. If you are a seller stay away because you will not get paid, if you are a buyer stay away cause you might get fakes. Man, KickkSpott is the spot to be I tell ya. KICKK SPOTT IS THE SPOT TO BE!!!!. I took my Air Jordan 12 Wings size 9.5 in mens there yesterday and was trying to sell them or exchange them for a size 10 (which is my actual perfect size) and they hooked me up and did the trade for me no problem. It was great and my first time, AND DEF NOT LAST, I was/will be there. They also were going to offer me around $700.00 for the shoes so they dont play games and play fairly unlike other stores Ive been to. if youre a true sneakerhead like I am and have nice shoes take it to Kickk Spott and they will give you value for your sneakers. I will definitely be back to this place. great experience and The staff is so very friendly they help you with whatever you need. I will recommend this place to all my sneakerhead friends I know. This is the worst store I have ever seen in my life. They took a Jordan Pantone Pack that my son gave them on consignment, that was never worn dead stock, somebody wore them, they got dirty, were never sold and besides they dont have a telephone number. They have a good variety of shoes, but when you have a certain shoe advertised for a certain price regardless if you made a mistake thats on you.....So I show them on their website the actual price and they made up a bald ass excuse saying they sold the shoe the day before, but state they update every 30 minutes, which is bullshit Ive bought several shoes from there in the past I still bought the shoes because Im a true sneaker head but it will be my last visit I would have bought 2 pair that day but they falsely advertised a product so they lost my business!
