A + is the name. Pretty unique.The store has a wide selection of hard to find items. It felt like a mini global market / café. The interior was clean and chic. The staff was welcoming and pleasant. This store is newly opened, fully staffed, and ready to go! Theres a bit of seating indoor and more outdoor. Lots of beautifully stocked shelves. Super convenient location for people near the Convention Center or Chinatown.

I don’t understand the purpose of this place - the current store layout seems like it wants to be both a grocery store and a “quick” service restaurant, but sadly it doesn’t perform well as either. The store design feels confused and a bit overpriced, which makes me wonder why would I ever go here.Since I live down the street, I’ve stopped in to foxtrot twice. The first time I left after perusing the offerings and not finding anything I liked. The second, I got coffee and food. Overall, the avocado toast was pretty good but it was so soggy since it sat in the back of the kitchen for 20 minutes - yes, it took 20 minutes to smear avocado on toast for $10. Also, I believe a latte with CBD oil was priced at $15, which seems insane unless there’s 5ml of CBD oil addedThe store part of the place has some cool vegan options but the familiar items seem to be marked up quite a lot. I compared a pasta sauce from Safeway down the street which was ~9% cheaper than Foxtrot’s. Considering the limited options and price markup, it seems to be more of a specialty store.Although I’m rating this a 2 out of 5, I plan to give foxtrot another try in the future to reassess my poor review. I think the store management should reevaluate the locations design to better differentiate its grocery store vs quick service restaurant offerings - currently, it doesn’t feel like a strategic layout and makes it feel like management can’t come to a consensus on what the store’s purpose is.

Tried breakfast tacos and an Espresso Ricky~ great place to stop by and crunch a quick task on your computer. Interior design is cozy. Will recommend to me friends

My bf got an orange soda and I got the strawberry lemon. Cashier was friendly as well.

Lattes are good. Its a great in-and-out for snacks, drinks, wine, etc.

I always get the same latte drink and order it ahead. It’s 4/5 times waiting for me and tastes the same every time. Staff are friendly and helpful. One of my fave buys are the candy bags (personally love the Predator vs Prey kind) Will miss this coffee shop since I am moving out of DC soon

Really great selection of products, but hot garbage for delivery. Online/in app inventory never matches what’s in the store, and nearly every order I’ve made has had something substituted or missing. Until recently the store had the decency to call if issues came up, but they seem to have given up on that. Customer support barely seems to care and isn’t interested in providing a solution.

This staff is AMAZING. Ive been going here pretty consistently for about a month now, and while I understand a lot of the comments regarding prices/policies/etc., for me, the staff here has always gone above and beyond and it really shows, especially today. Essentially, I just watched the manager, Lacey (Lacie? Spelling?), deal with an irate customer, who physically grabbed her, whipped her around, and threatened everyones safety - but through it all, she kept her cool and didnt escalate the situation, which was extremely professional and impressive. PLEASE give this manager a promotion, raise, or SOMETHING, bc that was just wild and that whole situation could have gone really left. Every time I come in, the staff always greets me and they also take time to help me with my complicated order(s) - and I cant describe how a little bit of their kindness really makes a difference in someones day and given that I work in service I can tell they really work hard and care about the customer experience which is amazing. Thanks you guys!

I would give it 6 stars if I could! The customer service is amazing - everyone is so nice esp Lacey, Tabitha, Bryan, Sebastian, Wendo, Kayla. The food and drink selection is great. The space is very clean and has working wifi. I come here every morning for coffee and will be doing so for the foreseeable future! Great job Foxtrot 😊

Great place for essentials, lunch, or coffee/snacks. There are also a variety of ready to eat vegan and vegetarian options for meals.

Nice place and the salads are ok. The turkey club was really disappointing- they say it has tomato jam and in fact it needs something sweet. Instead there was a lumpy small tomato and a very indistinguishable mustard.

I checked this place out, and I was pretty disappointed with my experience. It wasnt the significantly overpriced canned beverages, wine, or $4 Perfect Bars but instead the fact the security guard walked over and watched my girlfriend, who is a minority, and me when we were deciding on what drink to buy. It was pretty obvious when it was just her and myself in the store. Who would have that her Harvard reusable grocery bag was a red flag for a thief? Good luck...

Loved this place and what it offers, BUT took away a point because it’s 8:20am and doors are LOCKED. Multiple people waiting outside…why?! You’re supposed to have opened at 7:00am according to your website. For the Corporate Office: this is an HOUR AND A HALF late. The staff inside are all just talking inside.

Tried the elote avocado toast from this place and it was pretty terrible unfortunately. The avocado was preprepared into a weird spread and the tomatoes were rancid. Definitely not returning and it’s a shame because I live so close!

Lots of shelves with very few products; poorly stocked in comparison to the Georgetown location; clerk was rude and acted inconvenienced by having to scan and bag my few products. Fox Trot is too expensive to have a poor shopping experience. If I visit again in DC, it will have to be the Georgetown location. Mt. Vernon Fox Trot is disappointing. (Not to mention the very limited delivery radius which doesn’t even include Capitol Hill in DC.)

This is NOT your average grocery store. They have beer and even some Marijuana (weed) related products.Very interesting!

Lovely place! The staff was kind, I couldnt pick from the menu so one of the employees (I didnt get her name, but she had pigtails) recommended the radiance smoothie -- its a new favorite!

I was surprised and disappointed by the very bad attitude of the staff. We went with two service animals with certification. They were in the bags. The employee did not even ask if we had the certification. She told us that the service animals should be on the floor and they do not accept emotional support dogs. Ours are not emotional support dogs but service animals with certification and we had never been told anywhere that they should be on the floor. I asked her to show me the rule written and she rejected. I later checked the rules and apparently some types of service animals are allowed to be in the carry bags to complete their roles. Anyway, through all the process her attitude was really annoying and disappointing.

Service and food was great. I will be back when Im in the neighborhood next.

Man, the migas breakfast taco is Awful! It says it has poblano and onion and tomato and cheese, but mine was just plain unseasoned egg in a flour tortilla with a single cube avocado. Super disappointing. Not to mention if you do go with the breakfast tacos you should get 2 or 3; they are tiny.Cute place though, and Peanut butter cookie was solid! I will try it again.

Sleak and beautiful indoor space plus ample patio seating makes this an obvious stop over for breakfast. I am all about places which sell both alc and non-alc bevs, and will definitely keep this place in mind for future casual hangs. Decent prices ($4 for an iced poison of choice, $9 - $12 for a breakfast meal) for the occasional swing by.

At My first visit I ordered Cappuccino and it tasted more like a warm milk unfortunately and had barely any expresso taste. You would expect an investment of such a place to have their Baristas up and ready to serve quality products!
