This Xfinity store is conveniently located in Gallery-Pl ChinaTown right between two Metro station. This store has a welcoming decor and a friendly atmosphere! Please pack your patients this store can get pretty busy. I appreciate the staff great customer service skills and the willingness to help each customer with as little wait time as possible. This location accepts equipments return, equipment exchanges, new equipment pickup, bill payment, cell phone purchase and many more services. Limited parking is available by paid street parking and near by parking garages is available in this area.

This store is not your usual store; its quite an experience. Open spaces and beautiful. Pleasing to the eyes and a huge screen in the waiting area was playing football highlights when I walked in. Great service. I was able to come in on an early Friday afternoon, without an appointment, to switch my mobile service from Cricket to Xfinity. I was seen quickly. The employee named Iyi helped me out and he was very professional, knowledgeable, and patient answering the many questions I had. I was very pleased and was out of the door in less than 2 hours from the time I walked in. I highly recommend Xfinity!

Store opens at 10 am. I arrived at 10:05 to buy something. They said they were still doing inventory because they were missing some inventory, and to either wait an indefinite amount of time, or to come back later in the day. They literally can’t sell stuff and they are open for business. Every time I come here there is an issue.

Ive been to this store a couple of times and was helped by Christan Jones (Chris), Sr. Experience Consultant at Comcast Cable. And possibly the store manager. He was extremely unknowledgeable about modem routers and networking errors. I explained to him that I was being harassed over their network and the possible attacks that I encountered. Instead of setting up a technician appointment to resolve the continuous harassment, he substituted my XB7 Gigabit modem with an Arris TG1682G. Its very unfortunate to have worked with him. My experience so far has been horrible because of the lack of service, knowledge, and the awful consultation. My issue has not been resolved until this present day.

For over the past 8 months, I have experienced frozen picture and sound when watching On Demand movies and DVR with my Xfinity box. Almost daily, I’ve had to do a system refresh to get my cable box to operate correctly. I called customer support multiple times over the past few months, one tech said that they would need to send a technician to my house and I would be charged for that visit. I opted not to have a technician visit as I already pay nearly $250 a month for service that does NOT operate correctly. The last technician over the phone Informed me that I had an outdated cable box and I should go to the Xfinity store in downtown DC to exchange it out for a newer generation box. Today I went to the Xfinity store in Chinatown DC to exchange my old box but they gave me the same box I already had. The lady at the store was very helpful and said she would order me a 4K box to be mailed to my house within five business days. The newer box that she gave me, I brought home and hooked it up only to find out that it does not work at all. The box did not power on whatsoever so I had to call a technician and she informed me that I should go back to the store and return the box that I just received today to get a another new box. That was impossible as I would not make it to the store before they closed. The kind lady over the phone tried to schedule a technician to drop a box at my house on Monday, however there was no availability and the next opening would not be until four days later. I was expecting much better customer service considering the outrageous monthly cost I pay to Xfinity. I would recommend anyone in DC to shop around before doing business with Xfinity as they speak a good game, but rarely follow thru. It’s not worth the money

What an experience. This is not your regular Xfinity Comcast store. It’s a modern state of the art technology facility with a La Columbe coffee shop inside. Staff is fun and helpful. Great experience

I was greeted by a Xfinity employee at the door. She was neither warm, friendly nor pleasant. She asked me for the purpose of my visit gathered some personal information and then asked me to stand to the side following COVID-19 protocol. Once inside I was helped by another employee who was the complete opposite of the first employee. She was friendly, helpful, efficient, and pleasant. She helped me with issuing my equipment. I noticed heavy traffic at this branch. Be aware there isnt any parking available at this store. You can park curb side and pay the meter. There isnt any free parking and its in the heart of the center. Lots of traffic.

The Ugly Sweater Party was so fun. No one tried to sell me anything but employees were attentive to those who wanted to learn more about products and services. My daughter has fun and made a new friend. The staff made it a nice atmosphere. Everyone was dressed up and everything they advertised was actually there and everything was free! We had fun and well be back for more events and cookies.

Now I was going to give this store a terrible review after having 8 employees roaming around, one customer (me) and no service for almost 30 minutes. However ARCHIE save this stores reputation for me. This women needs to be manager of the store, her friendly demeanor lasted our entire exchange, she got to know me as a customer, made jokes and honestly gave me the best in person customer experience of my life. Simple instructions, knowledgeable of all products and patient. Again ARCHIE is the person to see when coming to this store. 4 stars for Archie!

I want to compliment the Xfinity technician who came to my home yesterday. His name is Reggie and his tech number is 3090. I live in Washington, DC. He realigned my two routers, affixing one (the Arris) to my phone, and the other (a more powerful Netgear router, to provide my wifi. Now, my computer works well, I dont have internet connect is weak alerts, and I can perform my work without interruptions. He was very gracious, quick, and he asked questions to discover what I needed. You are lucky to have him as an employee. I want to thank him and to commend him to you.

Incompetent customer service here. No one here told me that in order to cancel service I have to call xfinity and cancel, it can not be done through the store. Needless to say, NO ONE HERE told me that when I came to return my equipment. 3 weeks later I am still receiving my monthly bill. Thanks guys.

The only options you have now are paying bill and returning equipment. Though there were at least 4 employees on site, I was not able to get information on my contract. Just referral to online or phone. When you call the wait is simply too long. Not sure where I stand or whats currently available for me. SMH.

I arrived and was greeted. I was asked if I wanted to use the kiosk. I opted to do so because there seemed to be a wait. I trite several times to use it but it didn’t work. I alerted the agent that greeted me. She then put me on the waiting list that was over 45 minutes ago. I’m still sitting here waiting to pay my bill. Even a person that came in after me is being seen now because I didn’t get added to the list until after I tried to use the machine. Usually when I come here it isn’t this crowded so I guess they are unprepared for the crowd. I will definitely find an alternative way to ay my bill in the future. Still waiting

The service Trumps up your bill cant explain what the differences are from, do not have a steady charge system, and do not disconnect services even when asked then 4 months later try to charge you for missed payments . Beautiful fluff!! Customer service slow as hell if you want to purchase something or return something. This location is more concerned with being cute. I had quick service getting coffee and she was great! Getting anything else done takes too long and is so unnecessary!!! They have a check-in hostess who cant help with anything! The goal is for you to just hang out???? I just want to purchase and go please. Please provide a checkout person.

I agree with the below comments. My review is on xfinitys OVERALL service and I wish I could blast this message everywhere. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I have had to put in 3 request now to have someone come and turn my home wifi on. The very first time no one ever showed up or called. The next two times I told the reps. that I work until 5 and theyd have to come after that time. Each time they assured me they were taking care of it and each time I got a call at 2:30pm for my 3:00pm appointment. HOW, WHEN I SAID I WORK? The staff they have is incompetent. They have comped my bill so many ways because of this but compensation does not matter when they NEVER get the job done. I have gone 3 weeks with no wifi and I am fed up.

Weirdly pathetic in their “approach” to customer service. Weirdly, because I expect them to know more than me so as to help, but, this guy was at once immediately off putting with “no’s” before he even had pertinent information as well as condescending in a way that typical hourly working millennials think that they are not.The disconnect that Xfinity/Comcast has with its customers and its own abilities/services in a single city, appears to be in epic proportions. The mobile hot spot with their name is filled with information that the main services cannot (or will not douche boy!!) access to help you actually buy something from them. Their answer was just to get another email, since everyone has 3 or 4....More limited functionaries in the work force.

They should not be allowed to provide internet services at any capacity.1) Convoluted IVRs to prevent you from voicing out issues you have with their services,2) Absolutely trashy internet speeds,3) The most unsatisfactory customer support system.If it were up to me, I’d dissolve the entire organization cause they are just bullying the customer. Went into the store to purchase the Beats ear buds. The sales lady was attentive and helpful, but I was unable to make this purchase. The item that the supervisor brought from their inventory was not logged into the computer and therefore her system showed that the inventory item was unavailable. The supervisor then left and never told her or me what he was doing. We waited... she then went in the back and brought out a second set of ear buds. This pair was not in the system either, so I was unable to purchase. I was told that I would receive a call once the supervisor contacted a different supervisor. I returned to work awaiting a call from the store. After about 2 hours passed and I receive a call stating that the store manager was new and that he was unable to access the computer system and place the item back into stock or inventory. So, I would have to return to the store at a later time. What in the world is wrong when a store will not allow a person to purchase an item or take cash money that is presented to them due to a computer glitch? I asked if they could write the inventory control number down and enter it into the system later allowing me to complete my purchase. Oh No, money does not work either I guess. I asked if they could accept cash? Nope. This is the stupidest, complicated, unyielding, way ever to run a business. I am truly disappointed and should not have to have all of this occur at a technology store when I am the customer trying to make a purchase. This says a lot about the technologies ability, the trust placed in the employees and supervisors, and the system employed for inventory when the company cant get a sample inventory system to work. I will not be purchasing from this Xfinity store again. This needs to be rectified.

Absolutely atrocious experience. I work in customer Service and never post bad reviews. This was one of the worst customer service experiences of my life, both from Xfinity and this specific store.I have visited this store 3x in the past week after my WiFi was disconnected wrongly and received no help each visit, nor was any attempt ever made to make it up that I had my service disconnected for more than a WEEK. It was even insinuated that I should have known not to use their Wifi-Transferring service because it almost always causes problems.I was multiple times promised help over the phone when the “service team” was working (9-5, when I also work) and then never received phone calls to address the issue.I have worked in customer service for 7 years and this was the worst I have ever seen. FYI, still without WiFi, just ordering someone else’s at this point.

Came into the store last night with my wife and met Vailen. We expressed that we were frustrated with the back and forth we’ve been having with the Customer Service (phone reps) over our bill and that we were considering closing our account. Vailen acknowledged our concerns and said that he would take responsibility for our negative experience and promised to reach out to another department that was closed at the time. He called me today on my cell after reaching out to the department and he found us a better package. He even told us that he could save us on our cellphone bill but we just upgraded our phones with ATT. This store has a very welcoming team. Everyone said hello, I never expected service like that from Comcast considering what u get over the phone. Comcast gets an A+ for this amazing store.
