This is a great place for what it is: a small neighborhood bodega. They have a good selection of snacks and beer/wine, and sell lottery tickets and cigarettes. The weird part is that the front door is always locked and you need to ring the doorbell to be let in. The lady who works there is nice but suspicious of everyone. Ill definitely be back for convient alcohol purchases, but not much else.

The service is good but they open when they want you never know if it is open or closed

The other day I was helping the owner for free, for the store with a heavy machine and then the last time he paid me blaming me that I was trying to damage his door in a misunderstanding I made the decision not to buy more there for being a rude person

I called today asking for yeast. They don’t have any for sale but willing to give what they have personally. WOW AMAZING!I didn’t go because they are 25 minutes away but customer service is Wow just to rescue my baking. THANK YOU MADAM!

The lady is super rude, rung up the wrong price for the alcohol and then claimed we owed her money anytime we go. We used to go a lot but she is very slow, rude. When we went recently she wrung up all the stuff and pushed it towards us. She didn’t offer a bag. We asked for a bag and she said it would cost money (after we paid). Just very unfriendly, hostile and will never go again.

Very convenient. Mama behind the counter is kind and hardworking. If you ask, youll learn that they moved to a doorbell-only policy because of the shameless amount of shoplifting and theft, not to mention robberies, they are subjected to.

Love having this neighborhood store within walking distance. Beer, Wine, Snacks & much more. Mama is the no-nonsense owner who cares for her customers and keeps a close watch over the community.

Great family-run corner store! They have a good selection of grocery items, beer and wine. If youre a regular customer the owner will sometimes stock specific items you request.

Best place in the neighborhood to pick up one or two things you might need. They roast Ethiopian coffee beans and sell them here as well. They also have a respectable wine and beer collection -- definitely the best on upper 14th. Open late, too.
