Met at the door by friendly staff. Got a great price for my trade in and a great price on the exact used pistol I was after. Didnt realize I arrived so close to closing time, but nobody seemed to mind at all. I was in and out within 45 minutes. Also, the selection is absolutely insane. Youll be able to find essentially whatever you could want. I will definitely be a repeat customer.

Staff is knowledgeable if you can get there attention. The store is well stocked and they are not price gouging the box of ammo I bought was 54.00 but other places had it listed at 189.00 even on line was averaging around 114.00.Good job Ace. Just greet and ask when a customer comes in a bit more would make people feel welcome and valued customers.

UPDATE: I originally gave it 5 stars due to a couple of good experiences with a couple of staff members and their large inventory. However, my most recent trip I had a man helping me who was rude and dismissive. Yes, I did make a purchase this trip, just as I had the other times, so I would expect some gratitude on their part. I could give it an even lower rating, but there are at least a couple of good guys there. Not sure if I will go back to be honest, as there are other gunshops Ive been to in town that treat their customers with more respect.

One of my favorite gun shops and I have been going here for years. The guys will definitely help you find what you need. Everyone is very friendly. They usually have a large selection of new and used guns to choose from, including some NFA items. The prices are usually pretty reasonable. They also have a large selection of accessories as well.

Went here with my Dad since I was little. Attempt to purchase a firearm there due to the history with the place. One of the salesman got an attitude with me for no reason I let it go. He got an attitude again for no reason so I asked for someone else to help. They got someone else but the soy boy came back and said he talked to his boss and they were just gonna cancel my order. Called first guy on the phone was a bit rude. Drove an hour to the store just to introduce myself to a guy behind the counter trying to be friendly he was also very rude. Great guys that work here! They are very knowledgeable and friendly. They have a large selection of firearms.Their COVID protocol is to wait outside until their is capacity in the store. They will unlock the door and let you in when they have enough capacity to do so.

Have a wide variety of sporting needs for all of your firearms and ammunitions. They have multiple options and variety of different types of products and preferences. Very friendly employees who are eager to help you make the right choices and decisions, I will definitely recommend them to others.

Do not waste your time. The owner is ignorant. Door is locked and he unlocks it to ask you what youre here for? obviously not candles and bath towels. He permits you in the store only to lock the door behind you and have you escorted by a staff member through the store. You are not permitted to browse and when I asked for ammo they tried selling me a gun I already own.

I very seldom write reviews, and hardly ever do I write a negative review. But, I have never been treated so rudely in a store in my life. I went to Ace to purchase a set of single action handguns. They had a set marked with a sale price tag. I attempted to negotiate on the price and was told by the gentleman working the counter that he didnt even know if they would honor the sale price. He left for a few moments and when he returned said that could not sell them for my price. I upped my offer to $75 below the tagged price and he said no again, telling me that I should go look online. He then turned around, walked away and never came back. I will never set foot in this store again. Business must be very good for them to treat customers like this.

I buy a few guns a year and aces was the only place I could find what I wanted for my son. I give 2 stars since they had the gun but workers are rude and not friendly at all. They do have a lot of guns and ammo but I will never step foot in that place again. Stick with your local gun dealers!

They already have ridiculous hours, then today after driving an hour to shop here the store is temporarily closed. Used to be my favorite Gun shop in the South hills but Ill be taking my business elsewhere from now on, you should too.

ACE used to be my go to place for all things firearm related. I have shopped there all my life. That is until they drank the COVID cool-aid. You are now screened outside are escorted in and assigned a sales person to rudely help you find the one thing you are looking for so that they can get you out of the store as soon and possible . I am all for supporting private small business, but I if I drive across the street fromACE to the big box sporting good store I can walk around freely and look at what i want to look at. I am done shopping there forever

Excellent local business. A bit busy right now, so could be waiting at the door due to covid restrictions and capacity regulations. Not their fault. Great service. Went in looking for a used item. Was clued in by their knowledgeable staff to a brand new item well within the budget I had alotted for the expenditure for my trip. The item purchased is brand new, and better quality than anything that price in their used selection. If youre not too stubborn, and listen to the pros for suggestions, they can find you what you need vs what you want.

Went to buy a new handgun for my wife. When I got the door the gentleman opened it and ask what I wanted to buy. I told him I don’t know I haven’t seen your selection. He told me I had to buy, well I’m not agreeing to buying without seeing what u have. I have spent thousands of dollars in there before and I’ve been to other gun shops that have no restrictions even during the pandemic. That’s what happens when u sell out to leftists. Never do business there again would rather drive across the state or use gun broker first. Congratulations for losing more business

Bought a few guns and ammo here in the past....Some rude guy greeted me at the word with What do you want? well I dont want towels and candles or id be at bed bath and beyond.....he say cant go in unless you already know the gun you want.....hmmm cant inspect it?...says where you form ...we no longer ship out of state.....what a waste....Will never go back....I understand rules but his attitude sucked....nice job...losing customers....

Always usually a nice selection of firearms and accessories but Ive purchased two firearms from this place on two separate occasions and both times customer service wasnt the greatest. My first experience I bought a firearm that wasnt in stock and was told they would order it and let me know when it was in. A few weeks went by and didnt get a phone call so I decided to stop in for an update and was told the employee forgot to order it. They did have it in stock that day so I did end up taking it home but it was close to 6 weeks later. My second experience was more recently as I purchased another firearm that I had been wanting for awhile and I did get asked at the door what I needed before they let me in the store. Once inside I wanted to test out different models and it seemed like the employee I was dealing with seemed to get annoyed at the fact that I was taking up too much of his time. However, today I was in there to purchase some ammo and accessories and the guy I dealt with today was nice. Ace is a nice gun shop. I just wish they would improve their customer service.

The Good: Great selection of new or used firearms, ammo and accessories. Sale-tags prominently display longarm model and price which I really enjoy about Ace.The Bad: The parking lot is awful and it can be a pain getting into and out of since the shop is on Rt.19 with a barrier between northbound and southbound traffic... youll need to make a U-turn either coming or going. Prices are a little high compared to what you can find online.The Ugly: This place gets busy and customer service suffers significantly. 2 out of 3 times I actually ask an employee for help, I am curtly rebuffed, working with someone else, or even ignored.Ive spent thousands of dollars here over the years and while I enjoy my purchases - truly do - I cant say the customer experience is positive in any way.

This sham of a gun store, will refuse to do transfers or a multitude of things because it “takes time”. The managers there and employees don’t even know simple gun laws to help you and don’t even follow up on their own policies they have told you. It takes 30 minutes or more to even get help and when you do you’re treated like you don’t know anything about firearms. PLEASE stay away from here and go anywhere else.

Gun prices are decent. Ammo prices are higher than usual. Staff can be rude. Usually no one asks if I need any help or act like theyre busy except for one gentleman who asks everytime Im there. I dont remember his name. Sportsmans warehouse across the street is better for newer guns.

Pretty pitiful customer service, I remember the manager there being especially rude and the staff in general acting pretty condescending. Have a nasty habit of “steering” new firearms owners to subpar guns and overprice their stock in general. Will not be returning.

I drove up there to look around and was treated like a low life at the door. The guy asks me what I wanted, I reply, just want to look around. He then asks what is it im looking for, I reply, I dont know, I dont know what they in stock and trying to get someone on the phone is impossible. In the end he would not let me in and I dont know why because everybody who works there knows me because I have bought over 30 guns and spent between 40 and 50 thousand dollars there. Every other gun store ive been to lets you in without question. Anyway, I drove across the street to Sportsman Warehouse and bought a Dan Wesson Wraith for 2K. F-CK Ace sporting goods, my money spends anywhere. I wonder if they will have any customers when the virus is over, They will never see my face or money again.

Very polite and knowledgeable staff, have everything imaginable and then some. They were happy to answer any questions we had and they dont talk down to you for not already knowing everything about the gun like some places do. Their prices can be a little high but you get what you pay for between the quality/warranty of their products and their knowledge/assistance.

We love this place the staff are all amazing and knowledgeable..... being a woman thats very important to me because aside from my AMAZING husband I am so confident about the staff here I can go into ACE and purchase a firearm and walk out knowing that they explained every single detail to me........I remember going in the very first time and I was never around firearms and I had shared that with the gentleman helping us and he literally threw the firearm across the room to demonstrate to me that they dont engage for no reason that someone has to actually pull the trigger for the bullet to come out and ever since then we dont go anywhere else for our firearms!!!! Ive bought about 2,200 worth of guns here. The staff is very rude to customers who are young and new to fire arms. They talked very condensending to me and were actually incorrect about a couple laws. Not sure if it was just the 2 employees i debt with or not but the employees represent the company. Their price are a bit high compared to other shops as well. I was purchasing a fire arm and even though I was spending over 800 the guy was still trying to rush me out the dorr and not answering questions but will talk forever with regular customers. Thats just not how you do business. Will not be returning

Rude staff. Most know very little about firearms and treat customers like they are lesser humans. Literally the only store in the state that makes you wear a mask, stand outside in line, and you must tell them what you want before you enter. This place is a joke.

Love this place. It has never let me down with their inventory. As soon as you walk in youll see guns everywhere! All are broken up into sections for each style/caliber you are looking for. The staff are always very busy, so you have to take a number. But its definitely worth waiting, because everyone who works there knows their stuff. They are fully willing and able to help you until you are comfortable, and feel safe with your purchase. Ive never used their gunsmith, however I hear good things about his work. Prices are good. Sales staff very knowledgeable about the guns. Answered all my questions and made it easy to make my decision. I got alot of information about the ammo I should be using too. First stop from now on for all my shooting supplies.
