This is my best local source for the hemp I need. If the prices were fair instead of the top dollar marijuana price equivalent I would give five stars. It should be $20 for a half pound of hemp flower and $20 for a half ounce of hemp isolate.

Lets just say that a little lavender goes a long way in hiding nothing. Every thing I purchased was an absolute waste of money. All aesthetic. No substance.

Nice peeps and very welcoming shop. 8-10 months ago the kratom was 100% top shelf. Quality seemed to get worse as time went on and I got stuck with a bad batch of white MD that I opened and couldn’t return (understandable but annoying given the quality I had come to expect). While I’d love to support this local biz, there are too many economical and higher quality options that will deliver to your door via priority mail.

Love this place and the warmth of the guy that runs it. Hes always hooking me up with a free leaves or a little extra kratom. Hes really knowledgeable about what hes selling and really nice to talk to. The stores interior is also really well set up and looks beautiful. I feel like I could sit there and chill for hours if I wanted to. I plan on hitting up this place every time Im back in D.C.

Having been in the Kratom Sales myself for over 3 years, its absolutely shameful to see business owners take advantage of its customers, by pricing their products WAY higher than is necessary. They all say the same thing, Our Kratom is the best around, and its just not true. Before you purchase from stores like these, I encourage you to do a little research on Kratom, and what it cost wholesale. Anything over $10.00 an oz is just shameful. Get online and you will find that you can get product as good if not better, at a third of the price places like this charge. Just SHAMEFUL!

Update 5/4/20: two of the three teas I bought turned out to be moldy, or different types of tea entirely. Cant recommend the pearl jasmine tea or lapsang souchong. Still havent gotten around to the Lions Mane but lets just say I am not confident. I will say, the candies were excellent and the kava I bought there was fine. The CBD lollipops were also excellent. But selling moldy tea (it was sealed until today) and selling lapsang souchong that very obviously wasnt smoked is not... I dunno. Not good, anyway. Still love the concept of the store and it has its upsides, but this was really disappointing. (Everything after this update is the original review.)Whoa—Ive gotta say, this may be the coolest shop Ive ever seen, and I dont think Im equipped to express how impressed I was with Qi (pronounced like chee, for the uninitiated).Before anything else, a shout-out to the staff: both of the employees who helped me knew the products thoroughly; what they didnt know, they checked in the stores handy reference sheets. They were both very kind and helpful—extraordinary service!Their selection of products is far more extensive than the name implies. Qi carries kratom, CBD products of just about every kind imaginable, teas (even those you dont often find, like Lapsang Souchong and Puerh; also herbal teas), various mushrooms (chaga, lions mane, cordyceps, reishi, and more I dont remember), various house-made candies containing extracts, and a rather diverse selection of extracts, tinctures, and herb capsules. I am sure there are products I forgot to include.The atmosphere is of particular note: upon entrance, one is allured by the spicy-sweet smell of incense. Along the back wall, neatly-organized shelves are seen to display teacups and pots along with various other tea paraphernalia, myriad herbal teas and preparations in jars (simple but elegant nonetheless), pre-packaged bags of kratom and kava, and extracts of at least kratom, maybe kava too—all tidy and pleasing to see.To the left (when you walk in), there is a selection of loose-leaf and prepacked tea—again, impressive—laid out gracefully on a table. A comfy-looking couch occupies the nook on the opposite side of the door, flooded with natural light, which seems fitting because there is a full bookshelf beside the couch. There may have been other seats and a table, I dont recall.What more can I say, besides to recommend dropping by this lovely little herb emporium? The only thing you may find disappointing is the price of the kratom; it is much cheaper to buy kratom online. I didnt buy any today, but I get the impression that one wouldnt be disappointed in doing so, as they appear to care about the quality of their products. One day Ill test theirs out—who knows, I might be further impressed!Try the kava candies. Theyre very good. The kratom candy is bitter, as you might expect.Alright, this is a bit excessive. Go give it a shot and form your own opinion!

The store is conveniently located on U Street. The serene interior offers a variety of products ranging from imported teas to powdered kratom. The staff was very friendly and informative and was able to answer all of my questions, successfully enabling me to find the right product for specific needs.

The people who work here are so nice and so knowledgeable. I couldnt recommend it more!!!!I had debilitating back pain and nothing would stop it (acupuncture, massage, PT, muscle relaxants, exercise, heat, rest, etc.), but the kratom tea and the CBD oil have been so effective. I went from being in so much pain I was vomiting pain - I have a chronic illness and pain due to issues in my spine - to being able to get through my day pleasantly.They explain everything and help you save as much money as possible rather than trying to take money from you. They also have super great ethical business practices, which is icing on the cake.Oh and also their shop is absolutely beautifully laid out and decorated.I was definitely skeptical of this place at first, but it has been effective in improving my life. I cant recommend it more!!! Five stars for sure.

I went to get CBD oil 550MG from this place yesterday because I deal with high levels of anxiety. So far it is really working. Unbelievable. Im a cigarette smoker and CBD has even blocked that addiction. Havent craved a cigarette since I have been vaping this. I recommend it to anyone.

I will never order from or go to any other place for kratom and other herbal remedies.The combination of kratom and CBD has totally eliminated my back pain, of which caused me to be addicted to opiates for a long time. If youre in a similar situation(trying to get away from opiates for whatever reason) give this place a chance. I was honest about my addiction the first time I went, and they were super helpful without making me feel judged or looked down upon, and were able to recommend things to ease the withdrawal and other negative aspects of getting off opiates. This place has been the biggest help in getting away from those demon pills.This place has that true mom and pop shop aura, where you know they are passionate and confident in what they sell. Not sure what the prior guy was talking about, Ive been using kratom for 7 years to treat a neck injury I suffered in the Army, and have tried many brands and types. I dropped in on Qi Kratom unexpectedly on Saturday to supplement my normal supply.First, this is not a head shop with a few canisters of kratom under the counter, and a representative who can barely pronounce the different types. This is a VERY clean, open, warm, and comfortable setting, and not an ounce of judgment or contempt from the staff. In fact, without even considering the fact I was greeted by a beautiful and bright smiling face, I was able to discuss what would be the best strain to use. I was actually speaking with knowledgeable, well studied professional who didnt push anything on me or pressure me into anything to make a profit.The powder I purchased was absolutely what I needed and expected, and was sold at a VERY reasonable price. Quality was spot on and precisely the speed and strength I was promised.This shop is a credit to the kratom community, and should be viewed as a model for how a kratom retailer is run. Dont be surprised if you see the Qi brand evolving into a franchise company and leader in the kratom community in the near future.

Owner Ee is awesome, super helpful, super friendly. The store has a cute and easy-going atmosphere. The prices are reasonable and there is a very wide selection of high quality kratom strains available (as well as extracts, loose leaf, etc.). Im not sure how long it will last, but so far in my 4 or 5 visits Ive been given significant freebies as well, which is always much appreciated! Cant imagine a better kratom buying experience.

This place is legit, its awesome to be in an era where shops like this exist.. Wide variety of products and a staff willing to share some knowledge about them.. The kratom quality seems to be a little inconsistent as of recent (or maybe my tolerance is to blame) but otherwise i have absolutely no complaints about this placeEdit: please be careful with kratom. I just recently quit taking kratom about 2 months ago after About 2 years of daily use and the withdrawals were absolutely terrible. I have experience with other opioid withdrawals and they were a walk in the park compared to this stuff due to how long the withdrawals lasted. I felt like absolute garbage for about 30 days and I’m still going through the psychological part of it. Don’t start taking it if you’re not on it already. And if you are on it get off while you still can cause the longer you take it the worse the kick is going to be. Best of luck to you all, god bless

This place is awesome! I have chronic back pain from a spine deformity, and kratom has been an absolute lifesaver for me. Ee was incredibly helpful and welcoming, and offered really good advice as to what would be best for for relieving my back pain. I cant say enough good things about them. The quality of their kratom is top-notch, and they have a really good variety of different colors and strains. Right now, they actually have killer deal going where you get 30g for free if you buy 50g (and their prices are very reasonable, especially in a city like DC). All in all, I highly recommend you pay them a visit, whether youre a regular kratom user or just interested in learning more about it.

His intentions are grounded in a real life appreciation of the leaf. This is NOT a head shop. The store also has teas, CBDs and other hollistic medicinal goods.
