I received my passport today after 6 months and it is time to change my review rate to five star . I thank the embassy and the staff for their service and fast delivery. The only one problem that I have my passport says my passport was issued in October 2020 but I received it in April 2021. They should have changed issued date to the day it was printed . Again Many thanks to our embassy staff and their ambassador representing our beautiful country .

One Star raters need to be staffed at the call center of the embassy. You guys think its easy to answer all your inquiries promptly! Relax and stay positive. Yeah keep calm you got embassy. Otherside, the embassy needs to improve its operations and services. It doesnt take that headache to make people feel heard and cared. Get young dynamic IT Specialists hired to do data entry jobs and let decision making process enhanced and tell the operation centre issue documents faster. We are in 2020 guys. You can do better. Yes You Can!

Asc Somali people Somali embassy in Washington DC have done a great job. My husband applied a Somali passport a couple weeks ago and he got it sooner than the expected time.Great job Somali embassy!

I applied for passport October 2018 and was told the latest I would get my passport would be January. I finally got my passport July 2019, almost a year later. I have called no answer I have emailed and they told me they are having issues and I would get it in couple of weeks. That turned into couple of months. The worst part is, my passport says my passport was issued in October 2018 but I received it in July 2019. What a joke of an embassy. Totally unprofessional and unreliable just like our failed country. The people I met really looked educated and nice but the services and their communication is absolutely the worst. Very disappointed. If I knew it would take that long I would have definitely went with travel document.

It is an amazing feeling to see our Embassy finally reopened after 25 years. I have met the ambassador who is humble person and love to help his people. I also had the pleasure to meet with Embassy staff. And let me tell you, they work very hard and by the way they are volunteers. Those off you who were complaining the phone wasnt answered, why dont you come and volunteer and service your country.

Guys, stop being negative 👎 because embassy staff responds all corespondents. I think it’s time for support and love because you have all experienced 30 years of brutal civil war and see where it gets us. Khadra from the embassy called me back in less than 24 hours. When I was using the Google Map as walker the GPS when you select walking sign and you start using the map after putting address and the destination it’s not stable it’s bounces back and forth do to connections of radio frequency and I was hoping it can use also satellite communications to fill the gap when is guiding you to the directions of your address

Im pleased with their service,I needed to certify power of attorney from the embassy I sent the document by post as soon as they received my document they process it and send it back to me in three days. Thank you for your help. Keep the good work .

Asc my name is a travel court in our country Washington DC wants to come and file a passport if yes. If you dont make an appointment, you may be able to help the travel staff because they are good people and they may have to call the number of trips many times without making an appointment. Send an email and wait 2 days for a job and then you get a reply as explained to me by the lady in charge. Hope this little information helps you so

I have never seen a poor service required, we call on the phone for more than three trips start to catch schedule. If the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is concerned the public should change the course of the trip to Somalia in the U.S.A.
