Its nice there have been a lot of stores coming and going but overall pretty cool. It looks brighter now!

They have the worst wings at this location. Their chicken wings are tiny like frog legs and their wet seasonings are no different than the dry rub seasonings. Chicken dry AF.

Ive been going to this mall ever since I was kid, I think this mall would be even more amazing if it had some minor changes toward its appearance, such as interior in some shopping buildings, some improvement in terms of cleanliness, floral outside the build to give it some appeal and besides anything else, there are other issues that would be too long to go over with and since I cant really control what goes but give my opinion, Its still a good place to buy simple yet necessary items.

It is what it is and nowhere near what it used to be. As a Washingtonian I have definitely seen better days there... The Dollar tree was crowded as usual with only 2 registers open but at least 4 green shirts standing around talking instead of serving ... Koolsmiles was great and has definitely gotten better with their wait times since this pandemic started, meaning my kids get the time and attention they need instead of it always feeling like a rushed appointment. Safeway could do with better selections of meat but it is still better than the 1 on Minnesota Ave. Wish there were more shops there 😕

The wings have gone down hill. Tasted like old fried chicken.

When it first came it was the best thing. We all know as time go forward it gained its Grace.

I would recommend that no one eat here if you value your health. This place is very dirty. I received some lemonade that had gone bad and when I looked at the machine it was particles floating around in the machine. Eat here at your own risk.

Short lines, fast service. Self checkout is a plus..

I liked this shopping mall better than others. I went to this shopping mall two days ago, and I greatly enjoyed my day.

The only reason I come to hechinger mall is to go to Pine Dentistry and Braces. Ive been taking my daughter to that location since she was 1. It was formally known as Kool Smiles.

Use to be the place to go,but with economy changing see what it become next, community service

My husband and l visited for the first time and it was well worth it truly..we had a wonderful time. Customer service is outstanding truly..

The property management does to do a better job of maintaining the cleanliness of the stairwells.

Two sided strip mall anchored by Safeway with a decent selection of fast food, convenience stores, and random shopping. It’s walking distance from H street, CVS, and Aldi so there isn’t much you can get here that you can’t get nearby and overall could use some basic maintenance.

This is one shopping area in NE that needs a make over! Sad but true. Parking is scary alone with little parking lights and the nerve no security driving the lot.

Okay, so the area looks like there is some new construction in the city plans. But, the Dollar Tree is still the bomb and Ross is still the bomb. I hope when those city plans come through there will be some preservation efforts for these stores.

It was awful seniors and people with disabilities trying to get up to the Safeway pharmacy trying to get their medicine or is so trashy and dirty in the entire area just disgusting

From the Safeway to the cleaners and other stores you can find what you want, but remember parking is for customers shopping at the mall parking is strictly enforced!

Thanks for asking. Everyone want and need a clean and safe place to shop. Hechinger Mall is neither clean or a place i feel totally safe. Please fix this. Its in a good location and two of my favorite stores are there (Ross & Dollar Tree) But i may be forced to go elsewhere if the condition(s) continue

Its alright for a quick shopping.

Hechinger mall is your local one stop shop strip mall in DC. You can get dental work done, drop off mail at the post office buy a few things from Ross, then end the day with some grocery shopping.

Too many homeless folks. Not safe at all. You have to watch your back at all times.

It a shame when you arrive to the only Safeway in the community and there is no shopping cart available I know they need different management team there on all levels

Great place to get eye care

The meal was cooked on time and the girls enjoyed every bite.

So, everything here seemed economical. Everything here was geared to charge you as little as possible. We went into the dollar tree where everything was, as youd expect, a dollar. Then when coming out there was a gentleman selling socks out of a grocery cart, which looked a striking amount like the socks in the dollar tree, for less than a dollar. The police, parked right next to the entrepreneur, thought this was normal.Then, while packing up the car in a largely empty lot, we were honked at repeatedly by a woman who wanted our spot instead of the empty one two spots over.Generally I would not recommend going here.

Went to Safeway to pickup something quick. Took a little time waiting in line, but over all a good experience.

The elevator is still out of order. This makes it very hard for seniors or people in wheelchairs to shop both levels.

Getting a little bit busier but still a nice place to shop.

Impressed with the selection at the local Dollar Store

I love the Americas Best wings in this plaza. Great place to eat with a good selection to choose from. This area has a great selection of food and shopping choices.

Easy access to all my needs .great place to shop with exactly the right things .

Can use more visibility of security/police, and needs to be cleaned up more; but you can do some great shopping here. The Ross & Safeway are really cool. Americas Best Wings, Pizza Hut oh yeah, plenty of parking.

Respectful and quick to help you with your visit. Clean and understanding. No problem that I can see. Love It!!!
