Dr Anderson perform an eye exam and remove a very very small piece of scotch bright that lodged in to my left eye although i was wearing my reading glasses. I was cleaning the rust from one of my Toyota hubs to instale the snow tires .He did an exceptional work with dedication. Not 5 but 10 stars to Dr Anderson and the Wolf center. THANKS N, D

This was my first time there and I was very, very pleased at the way I was treated. This eye center was recommended by my GP doctor, and I will be sure to pass this good news on to many other prospective clients who need eye care.

My granddaughter is now the proud owner of glorious pink glasses that fit perfectly and bend so that not only will they stay on but they retain their proper shape. They are just what a five year old needs. Dr. Evans and Dr. Wolf are both excellent eye doctors.My five year old granddaughter was so excited to pick out her first pair of glasses and they would be pink. The day they came was devastating for her. The glasses were sized for an adult ( they fit me perfectly). They were so large that if one earpiece was on the other was off. When her parents went to return them as surely this was a mistake the clerk said that it was their own fault for asking for those pink glasses. To which I say why was the clerk showing a five year old glasses that had zero chance of fitting? This was not Walmart nor was she picking out a tee shirt. They are still charging the insurance for those glasses and will order a second pair if the insurance company okays it although this may take months. This is an extremely unsatisfactory experience all the way around.]

I had cataract surgery on both of my eyes last week. The surgery was performed by Dr. Wolf and he did an amazing job! Getting surgery on my eyes was a little terrifying but he made it okay! With his professional and calming attitude I was able to make it through without needing any sedation at all!! Thank you Dr. Wolf and all of your staff for all you have done for me and my eyes!!

The staff and doctors are extremely competent and personable. The turn-over ratio is very low; the employees are very vested in the their work and patient care. As my mothers caregiver, I escort her to all her appointments. Recently she needed to be seen by Dr Wolf at Wolf Eye Center. Shes been seeing Dr Anderson there, but due to one of her eye conditions she was referred onto Dr Wolf. I so much appreciate how Dr Anderson has always treated her. Always explaining to her, treating her extra special and making sure both her and I understand her conditions and her treatments. So I was a little reluctant to go to a new dr, but we did. Dr Wolf was the same as Dr Anderson. Explaining to her, not just me. Taking extra time so she would understand and answering all of her and my questions. They both have gone above and beyond regular treatment to ensure that she is getting the best care. Im grateful for all Wolf Eye Center has done for my mother.

After having very successful cataract surgery by Dr Wolf, I have seen Dr Evans for about 6 years. She has been the best OD I have had, over many years. She is knowledgeable, considerate, and able to clearly explain what is happening with your eyes and vision in laymans terms. It is refreshing to have a Dr like her accessible in the Alaska medical profession.

When my eyesight suddenly went very bad in a short period of time, I was recommended to make an appointment with Dr Evan Wolf at Wolf Eye Center. They got me in very quickly. Upon examination, Dr Wolf said that I had extremely bad cataracts (the worst he had seen in a while). Even though Dr Wolfs schedule was full, he wanted surgery scheduled quickly to restore vision to at least one eye (my dominant eye) so that I could drive again and my fall risk would be significantly reduced in the snow and ice and he wanted that done as soon as possible.The care given to me throughout the entire process was amazing. From the front desk staff, the nurses, the doctors, EVERYONE I came in contact with and was treated by has been wonderful. My fears put at ease.I have now had my second surgery and am in the recovery process. I CAN NOW SEE! I will have to wear readers but that is a very small & insignificant thing compared to what I was faced with, total blindness.Wolf Eye Center is the only place to go for any and all of your vision and eye care needs. Every provider you see there is wonderful and has your vision as their first priority.Thank you Dr Evan Wolf and Wolf Eye Center for giving me my eyes & my life back when I was so scared I was forever blind. Horrible optometrist, for some reason she know how to diagnose a stroke. Maybe learn to be a optometrist first. Her false diagnosis caused fears and health problems. These people should just do their job and stop ripping of the us government VA.They constantly call to try and make unnecessary appointments and keep diagnosing false eye care.

The customer service was great and the staff was extremely friendly. Almost no wait time and I was in and out quickly.

Went in for some frames given it was almost closing time but needed a pair bad, as I entered they welcomed me and asked if I needed help I said I was looking to get some frames and they said no problem let me know if you need anything okay great. About 4 minutes later almost right when I chose my frames they told me I had to leave and they were closed.. okay thats fine, can I still purchase these frames? I said and they told me no and that I had to leave.. terrible service should have just told me they were closed when I walked in.

I had to take glasses in from another office for a few adjustments that take skill to correct. I was immediately greeted by a very sweet Optician who was very willing to help me. She was able to work magic and adjusted my glasses to fit perfectly after the first try. With all of that hard work & myself not being a patient of the clinic she didn’t even charge an adjustment fee!P.S I also want to mention that they display very cute frames (:Thank you for your help, Ms. Optician!

Dr. Evans is phenomenal. She is beyond good at what she does and is so incredibly personable. She remembers details about myself and my family and makes me feel so taken care of.This is who I will always recommend to friends and family.

I went in to get a pair of glasses over a month ago. These were just plain, plastic lenses with no frills or extras, and was told they would take 7 to 10 days to come in. 36 days later, and counting, they STILL havent come in yet! As I now need glasses to see to drive, this is VERY disruptive and unsafe for both my personal and professional life. This is my first and now last time coming to this clinic. You are better off going elsewhere.

So very grateful to Dr Wolf and everyone at this medical center for the outstanding care and results! I can now see better than I have in years and my sight is improving daily after surgery. The staff is always so welcoming and professional . This is the best place to go hands down for any eye care needs big or small.

Just completed my appointment. As always, very timely on the start and very friendly and professional staff. Great sense of humor and fun in the office. I have been using Wolf for several years and have always been satisfied with knowledge of the physicians and staff. They have all been patient when working with me, which can sometimes be a challenge with my particular medical needs. Thank you all for your special attention.

I spend a bit of time at eye clinics and this is one of the most advanced I have ever been to. Dr. Mayberry and her staff were efficient and thorough. I have never had this much success with a first visit for contacts. They all were fluent with my eye condition, which I usually have to explain multiple times, and they were friendly. This is a great place for eye care. I couldnt comment on the quality of the eye glasses, as I tend to get mine online, but they do have a large selection.

Horrible again. Came here a few years ago for eye exams for myself and daughter. Very stuck up, poor service and front office staff more interested in gossiping about clients in front lobby than helping people. When my primary care doc suggested I come here again with my son due to persistent eye infection I was hesitant. Now I know why. Our appointment was scheduled for an hour ago and we are still waiting. Front staff was again gabbing about others and huddled about instead of helping. Instead of coming in after waiting an extra 20 min they waited for 50 min. Grrrr. Won’t be back. Rather drive to Anchorage

Went for a yearly exam on a Saturday. I arrived on time. I was asked to check existing information on file and everything was correct. I waited less than five minutes to be seen for my appointment. My eyes were examined thoroughly for disease and eyesight prescription then dialated. Next came a thorough examination from the doctor which lasted a fair amount of time then a consultation about her findings. She had no problem answering any of my questions and then we were through. I can rate them very professional, thorough and kind; excellent service actually.

Took my son here and was impressed from the moment we walked through the door. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful.Totally wish my insurance was accepted here because the experience was the best Ive had at an optometrist.

I really like Wolf Eye Center. The staff is very professional and helpful. My appointment was with Dr. Mayberry who was very, very thorough and patient. It was my first time getting contacts and despite taking what felt like 10 minutes putting them in she didnt make it seem like a big deal. She answered all my questions. The opticians helped me choose glasses that worked with the shape of my face. I have already recommended this clinic and will continue to recommend this clinic.

Amazing! But one thing, when I went there I noticed the new boss she was complaining and being a complete jerk to a employee that made one mistake, and while all the other employees were talking and on their phones and that one employee that was being yelled at wasnt talking or on her phones or anything she was patiently waiting for the next customer. I did not like the boss AT ALL. And later after I was done with my appointment I noticed the boss was just talking to her fried not working. The boss is highly disrespectful and I recommend you get a new boss.

I have ordered glasses from these people twice. Both times it took approximately one month to get my glasses. They never would give me a discount or anything other than “it’s the lab” for having to wait so long, and they were never very friendly about it to begin with. Basically you’re dealing with a rude incompetent business. Then, to top it off, I wanted my prescription back that I had brought them so I had it on my file. They couldn’t even have the decency to give that to me...My very own prescription. And once again, I was dealing with quite frankly, someone with as much customer service ability as an iguana. These people are literally the IRS of the optical world. Go to lodestar or even Walmart.

UPDATE: Wolf Eye Care contacted me and made things right. I dont hestitate to recommend them.Everyone was very nice, and the exam was quick and easy. However, instead of the 7-10 day usual wait for glasses Im now looking at around a month. First it was there was a defect from the lab on the glasses that required another week or so. Then after 9 days I call and now because my glasses were screwed up, I apparently the lab put me to the back of the queue. So now Im stuck waiting for another week. Not a bad place to get your eye exam done but save money and time and get the glasses through Zenni instead.

My experience was horriable. Took my kids there no kids place just a couple books. My husband and I made appointments he could go I go so one was watching the kids. This lady takes us both back in this little cubby hole. Kept telling my kids dont touch dont touch she was really rude . Im traumatized from this place. I ended taking my kids and walking out and crying .

I chose to become a patient at Wolf Eye Center because of age. I wanted an eye center that offered everything. Dr. Evans is my regular O.D. and is absolutely wonderful. She recommended me for cataract surgery and when the time came I met with Dr. Wolf. I immediately felt very comfortable with Dr. Wolf and was impressed and thankful for his expertise and credentials. I chose the Symfony Intraocular Lens. It is a multifocal lens which has allowed me to ditch the glasses I wore for 41 years, except for occasional fine print where I use the drug store readers. I am able to play on my cell phone, computer, drive and read free of glasses. I cannot believe how clear my vision is, near and far. It is truly amazing. I highly recommend using this lens and having Dr. Wolf perform your surgery. You will not be disappointed. I am so thankful I did.

Ordered glasses 2 weeks ago. I hadnt heard anything so I went by to check. I found out that the had gotten there 2 days before but the prescription was incorrect. They didnt bother to call and let me know although they have my phone number on record. Very poor communication.
