While Im up in Alaska. I like to shop at Carrs. Their hot and ready deli, has a variety of foods, to tempt anyones, taste buds. I was quite surprised, when I picked up some of their bakery items, delicious!

The donuts are always fresh . The deli and wing bar are top notch. But I heard that they use children that OCS removes from homes to stock the shelves. I dont know if its true, but if it is then those tiny hands are hard at work because their shelves are never bare

The prices are higher here in methville and the goods stuff goes quickly so if you see someone stealing an entire cart of things, call them out.Produce isnt bad,deli is far superior to both valley Fred Meyer stores and Palmer Carrs (worst) and bakery items are either fresh or all gone.If you value your vehicle, leave someone in it to guard it.

The evening manager the gentleman is always nice on point and helpful no matter how late. I really enjoy the store more when he works. The produce at this location is always delicious and they always have the best fresh flowers.

My service at the Orient Express was fast and courteous. Eliene, I think her name was, was very efficient. The best service Ive had there too date.

Their organic produce doesnt include some staples I find elsewhere, but it is still a good selection and its high quality.

They have the Best Produce.

Beef prices were good. The layout of the store does not make good sense to newcomers. Cheese is not near the deli. Dairy is across the other side of the store from cheese. Some clerks are great help and some are difficult to talk to. Maybe they are just new. The meat counter seems short staffed.

Really good organic selection I was really impressed, definately going back there, they had my favorite candy/honey and sesame bars, they even have one of the largest selection of organic spices I have ever seen, very fitting for the largest state!

I usually shop at fred meyer but they were out of most everything i was looking for......i think carrs has a little higher prices but better quality with some items so i dont really mind shopping here. No complaints really.

Very nice and helpful staff except pharmacy. My sick brothers medication was not ready, I was told mds RX was not clear,they reached out to MD office & would call me. Never called days laterI returned and still no call or results. Very frustrating!

Love this store, great customer service and great produce section. Just would feel alot more comfortable if they enforced the mask policy. So uncomfortable walking past people coughing with no mask.

The Carrs Chinese food is the worst Americanized food. I bought some today and got 2 small spring rolls and they usually give you 4 and the sesame chicken was so hard and the magolian meat was so tuff.

I have nothing but the best praises for the team working this area. Both Amy and Stacy have always treated me well and helped through their knowledge of the bread wall. Thanks ladies.

Stopped to pick up a money order so I could send money to my brother who is incarcerated at point mackinzey farm. They were very quick and professional.

Im disappointed with the looks outside the store. Inside seems clean and organized. But wow, what happened to taking care of the walkways and the windows? Trash, broken glass, dirty windows, graffiti...And.... DO NOT USE THIS PHARMACY. Rude, judgmental service, ridiculous wait times, and mistakes. I have met some Carrs employees, good people just trying to make ends meet and they arent satisfied with the upper mgmt of this store. Its so unfortunate, this used to be a great place to shop.

Got what I needed and checked out quickly, returned after driving down the road and realized I purchased something that I didnt need to purchase yet, so I brought item back and had a quick and simple return process. I always appreciate an easy return operation because some places make it a hassle.

Great grocery store with friendly staff. Comparable to Ralphs in the lower 48, even uses the same rewards system, my old number worked when I first got here lol. Overall great for quick shopping trips for household needs.

Went just for the hot foods deli. Decided to look around the store and got a great price on fresh cherries. Their fruits and veggies always seem fresher and last longer than the other stores. Bought the Shanghai meal. Fed a family of 4 on one meal. Comparing the price to amount of food and flavor (as long as it is fresh, which it was today), its a great meal deal.

Its a grocery store. Nothing special. Its clean and has food. People swear by the Chinese food in the Deli though.

Gotta love their 5$ Friday deals. Staff is friendly, especially that one manager that always ends my transaction with “Have a blessed day” and a beautiful smile.

Never enough staff. All but a select few even look like they want to help much less be there. Then you get past the first 20 feet and you see the prices can easily be almost double that of FredMyers even with their cards.

Pretty sure this is now the store open the latest in Wasilla. Prices are ok, usually has good produce & who doesnt love $5 Fridays?! Lines can get a bit long sometimes so check out is always interesting...

Got some hot food from deli area, it was not good, but all in all 💘 shopping at Carrs &will continue two do so,that was the first time I had a problem with their food in 13 years so I,will never buy any more hot food from their.

I was on my lunch hour and as I was checking out with the self check out the machines malfunctioned, not the issue but unfortunately I had already inserted a partial amount of the money owed for my purchase when they went down. I waited for them to get them up and running for 20 minutes. I no longer had time for the lunch I was trying to purchase when I asked for them to return my money so I could go back to work they argued with me; theyll be back on soon and are you sure you dont want it [my items] I should not have to argue to get my money.

A great store to shop at, although I was disappointed they didnt carry 40-50 pound bags of Pedigree Adult Dog Food. More importantly, there were easily visible signs at the entrances requesting shoppers to wear masks. I saw at least 15 individuals with no masks, including a woman who was conducting business at the Customer Service counter! I spent 45 minutes in the store and not once did I see a store employee ask shoppers not wearing masks to put one on. Some shoppers had masks hanging around their necks and some had no masks at all. Whats the point of signs at the entrances if shoppers dont adhere and employees dont monitor the shoppers?

After 9pm folks are scary. Not the stores fault,but I highly recommend not to unless you carry.

Great products. Best produce, best bakery, best deli meat, best quick Chinese food, but its the most expensive place to shop. Consistently bad customer service over the 20yrs Ive shopped the Wasilla Carrs. Not sure why everyone acts really overwhelmed & burdened by having to serve their customers, but they do....?

It was a quick in and out stop. I do like that they have had a full crew and enough cashiers that we dont have to wait in line to check out. So brownie points on getting us in and out in a timely manner.

If you want to know where the best donuts in town are located than look no further than Carrs. Not joking! Im from Texas (where the Tex-Mex is great and the Donuts are fresh) the donuts up here are not that good. Also some donuts places dont make fresh donuts everyday (and you can taste when they are not fresh). Carrs is the best donuts youll find in AK.

Carrs is somewhat busy right now, more than usual at this time. I believe that would have something to do with stimulus money that everyone is receiving!
