This wouldve been an excellent place to get matresses because its good prices but we bought a matress because we had previously ordered one online that we thought was lost. That one ended up coming before we had opened the matress firm one so we tried to take the matress firm one back and they would not let us return it even though it was still vacuum packed in a sealed cardboard box. Really poor customer service.

We had a phenomenal sales experience. Michelle sets the bar high and provided stellar customer service. We hesitated based on other reviews here but were blown away. What a difference a great sales person can make. Thumbs way up!

I had a wonderful experience. My salesperson was very helpful, the store was clean. I never knew how much went into picking a mattress, but my saleslady (Michelle) made is super easy! Ive slept on my bed for the last couple weeks, and it has honestly changed my entire mood! After having back pain for so long, I didnt think Id ever get good sleep. This mattress has turned that around for me!

2nd stop at this location, and both times no other customer. Same female working and same customer service. Was surprised that there was no flexibility in our request, we were quickly shot down. I would suggest that maybe even pretending you would look into something and possibly really try to, couldve been a sale or two. We left, went to 2 other stores, bought 2 new beds elsewhere and our few thousand spent really well at the other store too. I give this store a 2 for the pretentious better than you selling style and unwelcoming atmosphere.

Lots of options for mattresses, found what we needed in less then 15 min. Did not like the fact that had to wait for delivery to the store from anchorage for 3 days, but worth the wait.

We had a bad experience purchasing 7 items here. I recommend purchasing only items that are in stock. Before paying for out of stock items, look at the purchase agreement sections on Special Orders and E.T.A. They can essentially tell you any falsehood with no penalty.After paying for the items, we agreed on a pickup date. When we arrived several days later we were told that 2 of the items were delayed 5+ weeks, and the clerk had no explanation why she had violated our pickup agreement. When we drove to loading dock for the remaining 5 items, 2 more were missing even though she had assured us that they would be arriving from Anchorage on time. So we have 3 of the 7 items we paid for, a refund for 2 items, and I dont expect to hear from them about the remaining 2 items until I dispute the charge with my credit card and file a complaint with the state Attorney General.

Terrible terrible. Went in and picked out a mattress, the worker said if we put $400 down he could have it in the store the next day.The next day we went in, paid the rest off, then he tells us its not coming until tomorrow. Call the next day and he said its still not in... 3 days we waited, so I called the warehouse the next town over to just drive and pick it up since we slept on the floor for 3 days. The lady told me they couldnt have the bed ready in time before they closed. So I asked for my money back. Weve been waiting now almost 2 weeks for our refund, and every time we talk to someone we get a different story. Super unprofessional, I cant even believe the stress this buisness has caused me the past two weeks.So we went over to mattress ranch. Had awesome service, picked out a mattress, and took it home that day.And saved a couple hundred dollars

Horrible service. I bought a temper pedic, mattress protector and an adjustable frame. Spent around $6,000. And the mattress protector was not the right size and they would exchange it or work with me. I also purchased it the day prior. So it had never been used.

I’m struggling between leaving a 2 or 3 rating. I’m leaving the 3 star simply because as a mattress salesman myself, I think the sale pricing is actually decently competitive.So my opinion after a conversation with Mark over the phone is this:Tagged pricing isn’t the worst. Customer service level/willingness to put in effort for a sale/communication skills/general attitude is abnormally low, and has cost them a lot of sales if this individual has been there for a long time, or will if he doesn’t get some etiquette and communication training and markedly improve once he’s had it- pun intended. He was unwilling to budge on price at all, he didn’t offer a range of or multiple solutions AT ALL, he asked no discovery questions, he showed no empathy, he didn’t pay attention to what I actually wanted when I initially told him- clearly- what I was looking for, and he literally gave up a $1200-$1400 dollar sale because he wouldn’t discount AT ALL, and he wouldn’t make even the simplest suggestion or helpful insight as to what was available.Dude is a bad salesman and communicator. I have the same job, I’m just in Seattle and have to incur a ridiculous $661 shipping fee for my guest on top of whatever deal I offer them.HERE IS WHERE I MAKE A POINT:I’m going to make this guest- a guest I attempted to HAND TO THIS STORE-a deal on an excellent queen memory foam mattress (Bed Tech Gel Lux 12”- Amazon $649) and a very nice adjustable base (Bed Tech BT3000 w/ underbed light, 2 USB ports on both sides,TV/Lounge/Zero-Gravity presets, timed Massage, flashlight located in remote, 2/15/20 warranty, and 2 customizable memory buttons- $1349 online). I’m selling product to her out of my Seattle Warehouse, and I am shipping it to Alaska for her (actually for her father- 70’s, diabetic, recently lost a leg, now bed ridden and in constant discomfort). INCLUDING tax and the $661 shipping she will have to pay on top of my price, I will have it at her door for less than $1800.Mark gave me a sticker price Labor Day sale phone quote on a Serta NON-iComfort cushion firm matt (I requested medium SOFT) and a basic no frills base for $1500 plus tax-because I told him that $1500 was the most she was able to spend. He went STRAIGHT to the max; That quote didn’t include tax- may or may not have included delivery, I don’t know- so I informed him she was able to do that amount MAX as an AFTER TAX AND ALL ELSE is said and done. I told him I was in the industry. I asked if he was able to make a bundle deal or special scenario minor discount to get her into her previously stated price range. I LITERALLY told him I just need something good that comes in under $1500, and asked if there was anything else he might suggest, and he LITERALLY told me that that was the least expensive queen/base option he had- I call BS, because I DO THIS FOR A LIVING MYSELF. He just didn’t care, he didn’t offer additional solutions; he didn’t do or say anything beneficial. He stubbornly refused to budge or suggest alternatives- in short, he stubbornly refused to do his job...I can’t support that type of behavior in a sales environment, because I disagree with it.I want my guests to be comfortable, I want them to tell their friends and coworkers and families about their experience. I want them to sleep better. I want them be AWAKE better. I want them to buy their next mattress from me, as well- kids beds, guest beds, or whatever bed they want 10 years from now. I DON’T want to invigorate this background idea that salespeople are all money hungry jerks who care about dollars only and not people. I’m from Southern Arizona, and I wouldn’t buy a snowcone from this guy in July in Phoenix. I recommend you find someone who asks you questions about your particular sleep habits, circumstances, goals, and general wants and needs, and who you feel is paying attention to you, listening to you with intent, and offering multiple, fair, useful solutions. Basically, somewhere else, or with someone else, besides Mark.Edit 9/1. Alaska has no sales tax?! Mark didn’t say a word. 2 stars
