I looked up how to repair my busted shirt snap button on YouTube. The video gave a list of supplies needed for the job, complete with part numbers. One of the items was a button setter from Tandy leather. Luckily this store was right down the street. Unfortunately when I arrived and asked if they had it in stock an employee named Craig confronted me about how Tandy leather is not a clothing store and I would have to go somewhere else. I showed him the video with part numbers and he continued to argue with me. This should have been a simple issue to resolve but this employee went out of his way to be argumentative and combative. I understand them not having the item. What confused me was how eager this employee wanted to argue with me. Not a pleasant experience.

My first time to step foot into a Tandy store and Im so glad I chose this location here in Watauga. The store looks amazing and I was greeted by the staff and they were so informative in helping me purchase everything I needed. The store manager Jacquie went over and beyond to get me all the tools and leather I needed to start me new hobby. I recommend this store for any newbies that are wanting to start a new leather hobby. I definitely will be returning and attending some classes this summer!

Tandy products arent always up to standards and I wish someone would step up and do something the craftsman lace ive purchased has been spliced! The other times the edges were so bad I could barley finish my project. I spend a lot of money there its my small business. And like now I cant even see what Im writing because the site is so messed up and wont move down as I type. Its getting very frustrating and Im about to find someone else to buy my leather and products from. I cant see what Im typing so hopefully this isnt to bad.

This is an EXTREMELY new hobby for me and the second I walked in I was greeted and attended to! Everyone working was very helpful in getting me set up with everything I need to start in this craft! They even offered some tips and gave me a printout to help with my small project! Very excited and will likely return for a class

Mrs. Sherry was a good instructor to my daughter and other kids when we did a class to make ornaments and bracelets. Everyone here is very friendly and hospitable.

Very friendly staff whom are incredibly knowledgeable. Great selection of products consistently in stock. They are also able to get anything they might not have on hand. The staff will also connect with the customer and make them feel valued. They will help you with anything you need from innovating an idea to proper technique. If you plan on making leather working a regular hobby, I would strongly recommend purchasing the Elite membership. It can easily pay for itself in one trip for a large project. If they didnt know the answer to my questions, they asked and found out.I benefited from several specials: English leather belts, double shoulder vegitan, & threads.With a business account, I saved even more. That lets me sell my finished goods to my customers for less.

Ive been a couple of times and I always find what I need at reasonable prices. I only drop a star for the generally poor service I get when Im there. No one really talks to me, and they act like its a chore to take my money. But, because of the wonderful products and great deals, Im always a returning customer.

The staff was very helpful and cordial, I needed a brass buckle for my belt for work at T.C.S.O. and they didnt stop until we found the right one and it looked right and sharp! Definitely recommended to my fellow officers!
