Watauga Store ! The customer service is terrible. There is no attempt to find a solution to the issue. Only to blame it on the update system. Corporate Office customer service is even worst. Left on hold for 15 minutes and never returned to the phone. The second person had the nerve to scream at me because of their incompetence.

Long Story short! We have been to this location several times - to pick out my engagement ring to picking out my wedding band. Jeremy is everything!! From my understanding he is the new assistant manager.. he knows his stuff - super personable, professional - this is customer service at its finest! We were going to order my wedding band online - but we wanted to make sure Jeremy got the sale since he helped choose the band for my ring and went and bought it in the store.. Please keep Jeremy!! Absolutely do not spend your money at this jewelry store. My wife has had problems with them every time shes taken her rings in. Today I find out that her wedding ring was sold to me as one thing. Dipped in the store and sold as white gold. Manger says it was a common practice but they are no long allowed to do that...... well I would hope not. So now they send it back yet again to be stripped down and plated the correct white goldColor as they plated the wrong color because they were going of the original color they saw when they stripped it down the first time.

Theyre quoting 4-5 weeks for repairs but it really takes 2 months. Dont expect anyone to call you to tell you about a delay. Theyre supposed to call to ask for an authorization of the quote, but theyre failed to do that for me I had to call them. I advise to keep calling if they have your jewelry in their care.

This place is amazing. A month or so ago, I lost a stone from my wedding band. Abby was extremely pleasant and helpful while updating my warranty and submitting my ring for repair.The service is always enjoyable and my wedding band came back in excellent condition. Im very pleased.

Staff is very rude. They don’t inspect the jewellery after every 6 months and the lady in the outlet told me that she will do the paperwork but will not clean my jewelry. I requested the staff to let me know the date for last inspection and the gentleman very rudely told me to keep my papers safe and he will not help me. Overall, to my every request they just simply denied. I will never go to this outlet again. Will not recommend it. Go to some other location and save your time!

Manager on duty was IMPOLITE, acts very cocky and UNCOOPERATIVE. Called corporate on this store and they tried contacting the store but they refused to answer the phone. I had to personally walk in and hand the manager on duty my cell phone and he was still being rude even to corporate associate. Traded in a ring for an upgrade then decided to return. Receipt said extended return. (60 days) Return requested on 31st day after purchase, associate and manager said I can’t return it since they sent my original ring back to corporate. They sent my ring to corporate BEFORE the end of the return date on my receipt. Fast forward THREE MONTHS store manager never reached out to request for my original piece back. According to case worker the store and district manager still has not return any information to case worker about my return request. Don’t bother going to this location. Save yourself from stress.

I was very pleased with the level of customer service provided at this location! Abby and Christy (sorry if I misspelled the names) were phenomenal! They were excellent from our first interaction until I came to pick up the ring today. They kept me informed on everything and were very knowledgeable. My fiancé bought my engagement ring at the store in Watagua, and the lady that sold us the ring was very argumentative when we took my ring in to be sized. She also told us she couldn’t return all of our money when we tried returning the ring to buy another one. Do not give them your business.

If you decide to buy a ring at Zales, you better get the warranty. I have had to replace diamonds at least 6 times since purchasing the ring. The side diamonds had been replaced so many times that the ring looked warped and mangled. The manager suggested I get a one time replacement for the ring itself. I had to pay for a new warranty, which was fine because I thought the new ring wouldnt lose the side diamonds as frequently as the original ring did.A side diamond fell outwithin the 1st week if having the new ring.So disappointing.Zales does not have good workmanship on their jewelry.A 6k ring isnt a lot to some people but it was everything to me and Im left with a wedding set that Im afraid is going to lose diamonds everytime I wear it.Do better, Zales!!!

Absolutely amazed at how awful zales is. I drove an hr and a half to clean my ring for warranty....... Then they say you have to have an appointment. I said how am I supposed to know that????? Well its on the door and website. Ok!!!!!! Again. NEVER IN MY 6 YEARS OF CLEANING MY RING HAVE I EVER MADE AN APPOINTMENT.... well its due to covid...... how am I supposed to know. How do I know I need to check the website. EMAIL YOUR CUSTOMERS.... so this is one of many bad customer service experiences. Im done. I will no longer be a customer of zales or sister companies.

Bought a wedding ring in March, they were supposed to resize it to the same size of my engagement ring. Went to pick it up and it was bigger, apparently they just made my engagement ring bigger instead. I told the guy that it didnt fit and he said that it was because of the cold. Then came back because it still was too big and found the store closed due to coronavirus. It’s finally open and I went so that they could finally resize it and I could FINALLY wear my rings and they said that they are not resizing rings. That they are only doing the brand new ones because it’s being worn already since it was bought in march, except that it hasn’t been worn since IT DOESNT FIT ME. I am very upset.

Something happened with the Management of this store. I have been going here for years to buy jewelry and to get watch batteries replaced. I love it because they did a great job and were reasonably priced. They had great service up until this last trip in January 2015, where I entered the store and you would have thought I was invisible. For all they knew I was there to purchase jewelry because while I was waiting, I was checking out the rings in the cases. I waited for about 15 minutes without anyone even acknowledging me so I finally left. Even when I headed for the door, you would think someone would at least ask me to wait, but nope. Its a shame because they are very convenient and prevent a trip to the mall. But with this kind of service, they wont be in business for long!

The process is ridiculous I paid a lot for the stupid insurance but anytime I need anything done I have to go weeks without my wedding ring. I suggest shopping at a more local place instead of these chain store. They are not friendly or helpful at all! Don’t offer a protection plan on something and then require it to be kept for extended periods of time when other place can fix it quickly. Also bought a men’s citizen watch less than 2 years ago and the main pin fell out already and they can’t replace the pin they have to send it off!!!!! We paid way too much for the products and services we receive.

This is the closest location to me so I have tried multiple times to give this location a chance but I am continuously disappointed. The customer service and Zales company knowledge in general is astoundingly lacking. And even though the website and their storefront has closing hours at 9, apparently this outlet closes at 8pm. I have had my diamonds on my wedding rings checked here by the manager only to go to the mall a week later and a service rep at that location found loose diamonds that the manager at this outlet should have noticed. I would recommend going to either the northeast mall or Southlake locations over this one. Poor customer service and ignorance is all you will find here. NOT RECOMMENDED!

Been going to this location for several years and spent $5-6k over the years and have many warranties with my stuff which have to be checked every six months. Went today and waited to be helped and when I told the salesman I needed about 10 pieces inspected he looked at me in disbelief and asked if I could either come back later or drop my stuff off. For starters I had to drive 20 minutes to this location so if they intend on paying for my gas I will not be coming back or dropping off my jewelry. He could clearly tell Ive spent a lot of money with them because of the bag full that was in my hand. I guess because he couldnt get a commission from it he didnt feel he needed to help me at that time. I normally do end up finding something to purchase every time I have my inspections done. He also said he only had two people until 1:30 which is not my fault or problem in the first place. So after todays experience I will not be returning to this store.

Saleslady insisted I purchase some kind of bogus warranty against rust. On a white gold ring? Total scam! I repeatedly told her NO! and if you push me any more, Im walking out the door. My girlfriend was with me and I didnt want to disappointment her so I asked I asked the Saleslady to charge me for just the ring and she stuffed the warranty onto my bill and claimed the total amount to charge on my credit card, the extra over the marked price was sales tax. This woman flat out lied to me and I refuse to do business with dishonest people. She also kept pushing me to sign up for a Zales Credit card. It was like going to a shady used car dealer. These people should be avoided at all cost. They are liars and cheats.So I took my money and now I am heading to the Diamond Doctor in Dallas to buy a shiny new diamond ring.One more bad thing, Zales charges for sizing (Ive never heard of a jewler charging for sizing, even online) and Zales states a two week turnaround. Online is cheaper and more pleasant experience than dealing with these dishonest fools!

Purchased my wife a watch for our anniversary about 8 years ago. It broke within a month and despite having purchased their extended warranty they refused to fix the watch or replace it because they no longer carried the brand.Was not told it was a close out when purchased and my wife loved the design. Eventually got our money back (after about 6 calls to corporate in Irving, Texas), but will never do business with this company again.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I ordered aquamarine earrings for my wife. I was supposed to be notified from the store when they arrived. After 24 hours of email confirmation that they had arrived I had yet to receive any form of contact. Once I arrived they tried to get me to sign the documentation to accept the jewelry before inspecting it. It was then I found that the stones that were in the earrings that I ordered were in fact not aqua marine there was no hint of color to them whatsoever. Their excuse was, not all stones actually show the true color... this is true, however they do still show the color to an extent... I think they knew. And I will NEVER go to this store again. The manager Robert Lattimore seemed to care less. Printed up my refund and said thank you very much... garbage store, avoid at all costs.

I have never wrote a poor review EVER but I just have to! I had lost my center stone on a setting I had purchased from here. I brought it in with intentions on getting it repolished so I could sell it myself but was told I could do a trade in. I wasnt exactly ready to look, but did anyway. I told her I wanted at least a carat and she argued with me that my setting was only half a carat. Now, I honestly dont care what size my lost center stone was (seeing it was my great grandmothers stone).It had more value then the size of the diamond to me. I told her it was a lose stone and not one, but two different employes had measured it for me telling me it was a little under a carat. Maybe a .75-.85. It doesnt matter, but she acted as if I was lying to her, which didnt settle with me very well. I walked in after work ( I own a dog grooming business so I look like a mess) and couldnt help but feel she was judging me as if I couldnt afford to buy anything. I almost feel if I went back with makeup, my hair done, and heels on I would have been treated much better or take me more seriously. Never judge a book by its cover. Not to mention she kept looking over at a gentleman that was being help by another employee as if she was annoyed that she helped me and not him. I have always had wonderful customer service here, and the staff was always so willing to help me, but this one I felt belittled, judged and talked to with little respect. I will definitely never give my business to this location ever again! i will have to go to a different Zales and give them my money.

Had a very awful experience in this store. There was such poor communication and respect for customers from supervisors and employees here.Late January 2014 my husband and myself decided to upgrade our engagement ring for Valentines day. My ring size was a special request but I was assured that going to a size 4 would be reasonable and they would contact with any issues. My promised return time came and went. Approx 4 weeks after purchasing my ring and sending it off to be sized I called in asking where my item was. I was spoken to with very little care and very harsh words, telling me they would call me when it is ready... Another few weeks went by and I called again, I was given the run around so I went into the store. They told me it was sent to the wrong location and they would just call me. About 8 weeks I waited total, I called in again and spoke to a man named Mike I believe who told me this wasnt his issue and he hung up. The next day I went into the store and got a refund. Not one time was I ever told where my ring was or why they would not give it to me.In June I went into a zales store in the mall (Hurts, Texas) and I bought the SAME ring. The managers and employees were amazing to me and got my ring back to me within 21 days.Upon receiving my ring and needing to pay my Zales credit card I found issues. My SSN was blocking from signing up a new account. I found out the employee at the Zales store in Watauga put in the WRONG SSN!!! She never even looked to confirm any information and could have easily ruined someones credit if I were not someone who payed my loans. A tiny side note to that is I only had a very small credit line which was a little irritating seeing I have great credit. I now know why my credit was so little.I have never seen such unprofessional in my life. I will never shop here again! Just go to the store in Hurst and save you from a headache.

Ive been going to this Zales Outlet store for several years now. The Sales Advisors are very knowledgeable and super friendly so grab your credit card and go see Abby. Whenever I go to get my jewelry inspected and/or cleaned I am always greeted warmly. I recently went in to have my rings sized down and they suggested adding Sizing Beads versus reducing the ring size. I didnt know they had Sizing Beads, but I am really glad they recommended that instead.

Im giving a 2star rating because my visit here was not a pleasant one. I was not initially greeted when I walked into the store (even though I was the only customer in the building and all 3 Zales employees stopped and looked at me). After I was greeted by the guy, he assisted me in my visit. He later called another female worker to assist him. So she comes over and stands 3 feet away from me. She did not speak to me. She did not make eye contact with me. She just didnt acknowledge me. So I decided to speak and greet her. Moments later another customer walks in (white female) and what do you think happened?! Yup, the employees greeted her the moment she walked through the door and was immediately helped by another female worker. The only positive take away is that the guy who helped did his job with a smile on his face and I thanked him for his assistance. The other two females would need to know that this is not okay and you do not treat any customer like that.
