A friend of mine recommended them when they lived in North Richland Hills and I live in southwest Fort Worth. I had garage door cable problems and the spring broke. It’s always a great start to a Monday when you go outside and realize you cannot leave your house because the spring on your garage busted during the night. Thankfully I saw this company recommended on the nextdoor app by multiple neighbors. I called them at 8:00 and they were at my house at 10:20 and had everything fixed by the 11am. Pricing was great and the gentleman that fixed the garage didn’t try up selling me, he just came in, fixed it and left. Couldn’t ask for a better experience.

I recommended my neighbor go to Bruce Door Co. to get a spring for his broken one. I have replaced a number of springs and offed to help. He came back with the springs, but something was wrong, because it was not working. I knew once you bought a spring they would not take it back. I understand the many reason for this policy, but something was wrong. When I talked about it to Brain and showed him the spring he remembered my neighbor. He begin walking to the back, and I followed him. He still had the old spring, and as he looked at it he said, my neighbor was given the wrong side. Brian said, this was on them and he replaced the spring at no additional charge. I had forgotten to tell my neighbor to be sure and get the spring for the right side of the door. Brian did the right thing by being honest, and that is not a common thing to find in businesses today.I have used Bruce Door Co. for years. As a property management company, I have used Bruce doors for the last 10 years. They were great until this year. Now they take forever to respond, we ordered parts and they sold them to someone else and made us wait for another week. I called today and the lady would not order the part saying, sorry, he is sick and I dont know how to. I will never use them again. I am done.

Very fast service and honest people. Could have easily told me to replace the entire system but instead let me know it was just one small part that had gone out and they replaced it.

They showed up 15 minutes before they were suppose to it was just my mom and I. So we asked who it was we knew they were coming, and the time they said theyd come so we knew when to expect them. When asked who it was he didnt answer us the first time, we told him to hold on for a second, because we couldnt get to the door right away. When I went to go let him in he was telling my grandfather Ive been waiting for awhile. When he came in he asked where it was; was told where it was then said I need a light on I cant see. Its not what he said its how he said it. I said the light switch is right there you can turn it on. Glenn was very rude and unprofessional he didnt introduce himself, and/or apologize for the inconvenience.

I love small independent companies like this! They get it and have apparently got it for like 30 years for a reason. I simply purchased a new Amarr garage door from them quickly and easily. My need was just for an average type 16x8 door but they are an Amarr dealer and thats all I needed. They picked it up directly from Amarr and had it ready for me to pick up the same day. Im sure that may not be possible every time but it did this time. Brian and Shelley are genuine, nice people. This is a family owned, 3rd generation independent company with no corporate hassle, prices, or complications that you are used to dealing with most every day. Clearly, Brian cares enough about someone simply buying a basic door from him to take a few minutes to offer and give a new customer sound, friendly advice and suggestions. I havent ever had to buy a new garage door before this one but I can tell you one thing, if I ever have to again, I know exactly where Im going and whos business I will support. Ive never used them for service before but I get the feeling that, if youre a decent and courteous person to them and their employees, Brian would never settle for an unhappy customer within reason. I took the time to write this review as I respect and appreciate good, friendly people and fair companies. Small companies like this deserve to continue forever for individuals that appreciate good, friendly service. Excellent service and product. We had our door installed 12 yrs ago and the first trouble we had was today. Within 2 hrs of calling, we had a service tech out and problem was resolved.

Bruce Door is an honest garage door company. Ive been ripped off by another garage door company in the past, so I was very pleased to find Bruce Door.Ive used them twice. First to replace a pair of torsion springs and yesterday to repair the door when I knocked it off the tracks by hitting it with the car. Both times they had someone at my house the same day (Glenn, both times), where able to give me a price over the phone and didnt raise the price once they were here.What they charged me for a pair of springs was LESS THAN HALF what I had been charged by another garage door company 4 years previous.Both times he was out, Glenn was very friendly, worked very quickly and did great work. I could not recommend them more.
