Great place to address your muffler needs they are fast and reasonably priced

I brought my pilot here on recommendation from a friend. I couldnt be happier. I was afraid I might need a new cat converter. I dropped it off at 9 am. At 11:15am they called me and informed me that the flex pipe was broken, with a few minor leaks around the cat, but that the cat converter was fine. Total cost was $190. This place is legit. Professional, fast, and fair. Highly recommend.

I was in a bind I had bought a new muffler to put on my car. I wasnt able to install it.Afriend refered me to Major Muffler in waterbury. I arrived at 9:00 Ten minutes later they said they would install the muffler and fix another leak. By 10:15 the car was repaired. I could not believe how fast they did the repairs. And the price was half what I thought I would have to pay. Also very friendly staff and owner was very understanding .Highly recommend this shop. Five ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐.

Went there thinking I had a exhaust problem, as it was it was fine ...I can just about guarantee if I brought my car someplace else in Waterbury they would have tried to sell me a new system .....Its safe to say if I ever need work any of my 3 cars, Ill be going there ...Thank you .....

Excellent place to service your muffler! Went in thinking of spending hundreds on a muffler and tailpipe. Only spent 75.00 on a repair. In and out in less than a half hour!

Went to find out the price to get my car fixed. The price was very cheap for what had to be done. They had the pipes there so I had them fix it. They did a good job they bend the pipes to fit and welded it. Didnt have to wait long out of there in one hour. Will go back. Thank u Major Muffler.

Left with my windshield now having a crack 1/2 way across. Didnt have that when it dropped off. Noise is no better then before and I payed $1,500 for repairs there....Very disappointed....

Quick service in under 45 minutes today! These guys were recommended by my main mechanic . Father and son team - son had my car in the bay and up on the lift and within minutes was showing me what needed to be done (catalytic converter replacement. ) What I really appreciated was him giving me two options for service - I.) short term repair for a lower price and 2.) a costlier repair that would be a longer solution. Both prices were reasonable and the drive home showed the repair did the job!

One of the last True muffler shops!I came in thinking I needed a complete exhaust.They inspected my car, took me in the shop to see it, told me it was only the middle pipes and it would be $160! They then fixed it on the spot!Awesome honest repair shop. I highly recommend them.

Great experience!!! Had a chance to even check underneath my car to see the actual damages here. I needed alot of work. These guys are legit and even though I didnt have the full amount of money yet they patch up a few things for me for the time being.

Honestly was dreading having to deal with a broken exhaust, gave them a call and they told me a time to come in that would be less busy. Showed up at 2:30 like they told me and the technician was able to tell me in two minutes what was wrong and a price. In 30 minutes I was back on the road driving with one of the most fluid non headache filled transactions Ive ever had in regards to my car.

It says they do free tire rotation, free tire pressure check, free brake inspection, and free battery check with ALL oil change appointments and thats a LIE. I made an appointment to get my oil changed there and they didnt s do ANY of that. Its false advertisement. I was disappointed.

We bought a modified 1994 Cadillac Fleetwood, which unfortunately had a mostly missing section of exhaust pipe that the previous owner had repaired with soda cans. The exhaust noise inside the car made it unbearable to drive, and the leaking exhaust gases were a hazard. Major Muffler took care of it in about an hour, for a mere $150! Now, you can breathe inside the vehicle, and you can barely tell its running at all.
